Everything from my arrival to Shangri-la, to the point of checking in, arranging transport for my itinerary, checking out, ferrying me to the train station, just one word - Impeccable.
Customer service is outstanding, their interiors are beautifully designed, and complements well with the architecture of the building as well as the greater plains of Napa sea.
They have a myriad of farm and domesticated animals which are incredibly docile, well tempered, and playful so you can tell they are well treated in here.
I was at first skeptical of booking this as it's a little expensive and as a solo traveler, i'm incredibly easygoing. However, the standard of service, the majestic morning scenery, cute companions, complimentary evening desserts and hot milk, made everything worth the penny. I even got a free upgrade of my room because they said my original booking had no views 😂, and I was incredibly grateful for the complimentary upgrade.
I'm a heavy eater so the light hearty breakfast wasn't exactly to my liking (but I could use some healthy balance once in a while 🤣) To each of their own.
The staffs went out of their way to ensure my stay was as comfortable as possible, in which I commend them for it.
I will definitely be coming back to Shangri-la in the near future and will not be considering any other accommodation except for theirs!

I had the most incredible stay at Shangri-la Runjing Muqi B&B. The moment I arrived, I was greeted with warm hospitality and a serene atmosphere that instantly made me feel at home. The property is beautifully designed, blending traditional aesthetics with modern comforts, offering a perfect retreat from the hustle of daily life.
The rooms were spacious, impeccably clean, and thoughtfully decorated, reflecting the local charm of Shangri-la. The attention to detail was remarkable—from the soft linens to the carefully curated amenities that added a touch of luxury to my stay.
What truly stood out was the exceptional service provided by the owner of the inn. She was incredibly kind and accommodating, even offering to pick me up from the train station and drop me off when I left, which was a huge help as the B&B is located about 25 minutes from the town and getting a Didi can be a bit challenging in the area.
The inn doesn’t have elevators, only a staircase, but the staff were so attentive—they carried my luggage up and down for me, ensuring I didn’t have to worry about a thing.
The location is perfect for exploring the serene beauty of Shangri-la. Nearby attractions include Potatso National Park, Songzanlin Monastery, and Dukezong Ancient Town, as well as a nearby horse ranch, where you can dress in traditional ******* costumes and ride across the scenic grasslands.
The on-site breakfast was delicious, with fresh, locally sourced options that made each morning a delight.
Overall, Shangri-la Runjing Muqi B&B offers an unforgettable experience. It’s a peaceful retreat with exceptional service, making it an ideal choice for anyone looking to explore the wonders of Shangri-la. I can’t wait to return!

The accommodation was easily the best one we've stayed in. The staff's service was impeccable. Not only do they provide breakfast and supper, they also provided laundry and transfer services as well. The room was excellent - spacious yet cozy with a romantic view overlooking the meadows that makes us regret staying for just a single night. In addition, the animals (baby goats, dogs, ducks, reindeers, llama etc.) coupled with the photoshoot package made the experience even more worthwhile.

Questo è uno di quei casi in cui hanno chiaramente cercato di fare più di quello che sapevano... Cominciamo dagli aspetti positivi: è un hotel dall'aspetto gradevole, con un design gradevole e camere belle. Le camere sono ben attrezzate per il comfort, ma io non ne ho avute... Diverse cose non hanno funzionato come avrebbero dovuto: prima di tutto il water era uno di quei water automatici che ora si trovano ovunque negli hotel di fascia media in Cina, ma questo si scaricava sempre non appena ci si avvicinava. E lo scarico era troppo forte, quindi usciva un po' d'acqua, il che è fastidioso se è acqua sporca... Il materasso del letto era riscaldato abbastanza forte (il che non era necessario perché la stanza aveva il riscaldamento a pavimento), quindi abbiamo provato di tutto per spegnerlo senza successo. Abbiamo provato davvero di tutto... Stavamo sudando così tanto che abbiamo persino deciso di rimuovere la carta della stanza dal porta-carta per disattivare tutto... Ma che ci crediate o no, non ha funzionato... un'altra cosa fastidiosa è che la doccia non era separata dal water. Quindi quando fai la doccia, bagni il water e il pavimento tutto intorno al water, quindi ogni volta che vai in bagno ti bagni i piedi, e poi quando cammini con i piedi bagnati sul pavimento della stanza ti sporchi i piedi perché il pavimento della stanza non era perfettamente pulito. A proposito, il pavimento della stanza era anche un po' irregolare, il che sembra essere un effetto del riscaldamento a pavimento che era un po' troppo forte in alcuni punti. Ah, inoltre la TV non funzionava, e si sono offerti di ripararla, ma ho rifiutato.
Tutti questi sono problemi minori, ma preferirei non avere questi ”comfort” extra se non funzionano correttamente.
Per il resto il servizio è stato buono, hanno cercato di essere d'aiuto e l'hotel si trova in un quartiere tranquillo.

Amore questo hotel a Shangri-la!! È stato accolto con il pick-up complimentare dall'aeroporto di Chervelot. Quando arrivato all'hotel, ci sono stati offerti snack e tè, e 3 tipi di scent da scegliere per lo shampoo, condizionatore e sapone. Possiamo anche scegliere tra i pasti cinesi, occidentali e tibetano per la mattina prossima.
La stanza stessa era ben progettata con un moderno contatto con la decorazione tibetana. Ci sono stati 2 ossigenatori per coloro con malattie di altezza. Ci sorprendeva di essere offerti con una zuppa di dessert nutriente e frutta. Come nuovo hotel, le strutture sono in buona condizione.
I manager/personali dell'hotel sono andati sopra e oltre per renderci benvenuti e confortevoli durante il nostro soggiorno.

We recently stayed 4 nights here in November and it was a true 5 star experience from the moment we arrived. Our driver wondered why we chose to stay at a “remote” area but it was so peaceful and and view is breathtaking especially during the golden sunrise hour. Our 2 young kids had so many highlights from feeding the animals to toasting marshmallow and singing karaoke in front of the campfire and under the stars. Shangrila was the highlight of our 2 weeks in Yunan and we look forward to staying here again.

We were picked up by a small cart to the accommodation and welcomed to a very clean and modern designed room. Upon entering the lobby we were offered tea which was very nice. Also the room is well equiped with a humidifier and oxygen machine. Furthermore, the owners were very kind, gave us information about where to dress up (hanfu clothing) and packed our breakfast for to go as we had to head to the station early. We received many snacks to try, overall would definitely recommend! Beyond european standards when it comes to hospitality

UUtente ospiteIl capo è molto entusiasta e buono!Il cambiamento temporaneo ci aiuta anche a prenotare la stanza. Di solito, puoi ordinare al capo. Il capo è un super buono parlare con il nord-est del tunnel! (Sua figlia è anche molto carina 🥰) Il popolo è molto pulito e igienico, e la stanza è molto grande, completamente al di sopra delle nostre aspettative. È possibile che sia un po'di problemi a guidare dalla città antica, ma è più tranquilla alla periferia di notte. Mi piace piacere 🥰 vivere ancora se viene l'anno prossimo! The guest service staffs and owner are very helpful, to help me with oxygen supply, warm water, and sweets. They are friendly and helpful, warm enough to remember each in house guest.
Room and hotel are clean, neat and new. Location is great, just 10 mins to ancient town and nearby 3 to 5 minutes walk you may found local restaurants and rent for tranditional cloths which super convinience.
I will recommend to my friend and family, and my next visit.

Se avete domande potete chiedere nel gruppo e lo staff vi risponderà e le gestirà in modo tempestivo. Dato che eravamo su un altopiano, avremmo potuto temere di non poter portare i nostri bagagli, ma le persone nel negozio ci avrebbero aiutato a portare i nostri bagagli e a portarli in macchina quando saremmo partiti Carino. Ma il punto pratico è che l'igiene non è ancora molto buona. La trapunta aveva un forte odore. L'ho cambiata in tempo. Tuttavia, quando l'ho cambiata, ho visto che la coperta sotto aveva grosse macchie. entrambi sentivano ancora un po' di prurito e c'era ancora un po' di odore nella stanza. Ma i dispositivi sono tutti intelligenti e molto buoni. Non ho nulla da dire sul servizio, ma spero sinceramente che faremo del nostro meglio per fare meglio in termini di igiene. Spero che migliorerai sempre di più e ti auguro un business prospero.

JJohn and LilyI've traveled to many destinations and stayed in countless hotels, often seeking the perfect location and amenities. However, my recent stay at Shangri-La No.1 Bieyuan Boutique Homestay redefined what a memorable hotel experience truly means.

UUtente ospiteUn posto fantastico con un'atmosfera autentica e tranquilla! Tibet GH è un'azienda a conduzione familiare. I proprietari si sono presi cura di noi: hanno organizzato il trasporto da e per l'aeroporto, ci hanno prelevato in auto dopo l'escursione, ci hanno dato ottimi consigli su come esplorare la zona e, in generale, ci hanno fatto sentire estremamente benvenuti.
La camera era accogliente e confortevole, con una vista incredibile.
La colazione tradizionale ******* era deliziosa, inoltre la mamma ci ha preparato il pranzo gratuitamente l'ultimo giorno.
La guesthouse ha opzioni per la ristorazione, deliziose. Una delle sere ci hanno offerto un barbecue 😊
È molto comoda per le escursioni nella Lower e Middle Gorge e possono organizzare il trasporto per ulteriori visite turistiche.

RRonaNalaThe hotel is located 1 km from the ancient town and is a 10-15 minute drive to the train station.
The room was comfortable, and the water pressure and heater worked perfectly.
The Wi-Fi was very stable as well. (For foreigners, do bear in mind, if you connect to hotel wifi, you would need to connect to VPN in order to use WhatsApp, IG or Youtube)
This is a 9-year-old property, so there are some flaws that can be improved, but that is understandable.
My only feedback is about the F&B restaurant; they only have one all-day dining option. Breakfast was alright, with more of a local selection.
I stayed for two nights. On the first day, there was staff available to help me and serve my cafe latte order. However, on the second day, I did not see any staff on standby, so I had to make my own cafe latte (I had to froth the milk), which I found awkward.
I wish the staff were more well trained, but I understand it is low season and the hotel probably hired part-timers for service.
The best highlight of my stay was meeting a lady named Rose He, who is part of the guest services team (i think). She made recommendations on where to go and even found us a local driver to take us around. She was extremely kind and polite. We exchanged WeChat information, and she texted me when the weather turned cold or rainy. She also helped us to arrange complimentary transportation to the train station. It felt personalized. Shangri-La, if you are reading this, I believe she deserves a token of appreciation. She is the true star and a great example of “hospitality.”

MMUHAMAD AKMALIl prezzo pagato, che includeva la raccolta e il colazione, non ci è stata alcuna denuncia. Infine, quando siamo arrivati prima del normale controllo in tempo, l'hotel era abbastanza grazioso da permetterci di entrare in anticipo. Le comunicazioni sono state effettuate tramite wechat e tutto è stato regolare, perché possiamo comunicare utilizzando il traduttore wechat.
La nostra stanza era situata al terzo piano. Era una scala forte, ma abbiamo gestito. La stanza era abbastanza spaziosa per entrambi. Ha tutte le esigenze di base e pulita. Era anche un letto riscaldato che era buono come era freddo a Shangrila. L'hotel dispone anche di un deposito bagagli dopo aver controllato che era buono, perché potevamo continuare a esplorare la città fino a quando non era il momento di prendere il treno alla fine della sera. C'erano scelte di colazione mutili. Una colazione semplice ma tecnicamente è sufficiente per noi, perché non abbiamo molta opzione come musulmano con un requisito alimentare specifico. Croissant, uova e frutta erano abbastanza buoni con tè e caffè.
La posizione dell'hotel è molto vicina alla città antica di Dukezong. Meno di 5 minuti a piedi. Era piuttosto conveniente quando siamo tornati alla città antica alle ore notturne e non ha problemi a trovare il nostro modo di tornare all'hotel a piedi. E' anche facile ottenere il trasporto pubblico in questa zona.
L'hotel è davvero fotogenico ni le foto, soprattutto quando tutte le luci erano accese.

Because it is quite difficult to carry luaggage on the cobblestone street. Hotel has unique style with mountain view. Hot ginger tea, which is always served is excellen,t especially in cool weather.

Posso andare al piano superiore per vedere il paesaggio e il giardino. La mia nonna è una stanza. Ho troppe cose da fare. Per me, questo ospite è diventato un punto di attrazione nel mio viaggio.
Quando si ferma in soggiorno, incontriamo occasionalmente altri ospiti.Ci incontreremo, racconteremo le storie dei nostri viaggi e condivideremo il nostro cuore.Se incontriamo ospiti aperti, ci ritroveremo anche nelle nostre città e nelle persone vicine. A questo punto, per me, il viaggio non è più come in passato, ma è un breve passato, che non lascerà tracce.
