The room was spacious and modern. The heated flooring and room was great in winter! Comfortable bed and good water pressure (hot water). Hotel was located within walkable distance to dukezong old town. Didi is able to drop us off right at the doorstep so no lugging of our luggages through the flooring required. Highly recommend to all and they have a cute and friendly cat!

Prima venuto a prenderci dalla stazione, all'arrivo, come la nostra stanza era al terzo piano, portarono il nostro bagaglio tutto il tempo per noi. La stanza era spaziosa, pulita e tutte le attrezzature fornite. La stanza era dotata di ossigeno, terra riscaldata e tetto celeste dove potevamo guardare le stelle. Ci consigliavano di fare tutto e non quando in altezza. Quando siamo tornati freddi, hanno anche portato latte caldo per aiutarci a riscaldare. In generale, abbiamo avuto un buon soggiorno qui. Saremmo rimasti qui se mai tornassimo a Shangri-la.

Exquisitely decorated hotel rooms with excellent smart home features.. The 2 young men manning the reception provided exceptional service and always ready to offer assistance.. They even offer evening tea with fruit platter, nuts and sweet potatoes... Combining that with a short 10 minute stroll to the ancient city, this hotel is highly recommended.. And did I mention of the impeccable service by the 2 young men.. 😁

The B&B is located in the beautiful and mysterious ancient city of Dukezong, close to Moonlight Square and Songzanlin Temple, Napa Lake, convenient to travel, bus stop at the door, and a dedicated parking lot. The room has floor heating, diffuse oxygen, a café, a chess and card room, a tea room, an open-air garden, and a leisure bar!

From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by its cleanliness and the warm, friendly atmosphere created by the staff. The service is nothing short of excellent—they even offer complimentary pick-up and drop-off to the train station, which made our journey so much easier. The hotel provides everything you need for a comfortable and luxurious stay. The room is spacious, with a big TV screen and a cozy sofa for relaxation. The thoughtful amenities include a heated floor and bed, which were perfect for the cold weather. Even the toilet seat has a heater and a bidet, making it incredibly convenient and comfortable. They also provide additional oxygen in the room—a great touch, especially for those who might feel the effects of high altitude. The views from the hotel are absolutely breathtaking! Imagine waking up to stunning mountain scenery, lush green grasslands, and sheep grazing peacefully—it’s like a dream come true. To make our stay even more special, they upgraded our room for free to one with a luxurious bathtub! For Muslim travelers, this hotel is incredibly accommodating—they provided us with a delicious vegetarian breakfast, so we felt completely at ease. However, please be mindful when sitting on the sofas as their adorable, friendly dog loves to sit there too and might come to greet you. Their dog is super cute and playful, adding a warm and homey touch to the stay! One of the most delightful surprises was that the hotel provides traditional Chinese costumes for free! We had so much fun dressing up and taking beautiful photos. It made us feel like royalty from an ancient Chinese dynasty—truly a unique and unforgettable experience. Despite the language barrier, the staff were incredibly helpful in accommodating our needs. They went above and beyond to assist us, offering suggestions, pinpointing locations, and ensuring we had everything we needed. A big thumbs up to the staff member whose picture I shared (unfortunately, I forgot to ask her name). The hotel owner should truly give her credit for her exceptional service—it made our stay even more memorable! This hotel is located near the stunning Napahai Lake, not Dukezong Ancient City. If you’re planning to stay close to Dukezong, this might not be the best choice. But trust me, you don’t need to stay near Dukezong—this hotel is so good, it’s worth being a little further away. The peaceful surroundings, incredible service, and top-notch amenities make it more than worth it! Another fantastic perk is the nearby e-bike rental. We rented bikes and had an amazing time exploring the beautiful Napahai area and enjoying the serene countryside. I highly recommend this hotel, especially for travelers from Malaysia. It’s the perfect blend of comfort, convenience, and hospitality. Trust me, you won’t regret staying here—it’s a memory you’ll cherish forever! Sorry I don’t take too much photo, a lot of videos only.
