Hotel con colazione a New York

Per quanto riguarda il servizio di crociera gratuito per la Statua della Libertà a New York, esiste effettivamente un traghetto gratuito operativo 24 ore su 24, lo Staten Island Ferry, ma è importante tenere presente le seguenti informazioni chiave: Traghetto gratuito: Staten Island Ferry Sono andato alla Statua della Libertà 🗽 tre volte, ma non c'era parcheggio 🅿️, quindi ho dovuto prendere la metropolitana e cambiare una volta perché l'hotel in cui alloggiavo, il LaGuardia Plaza Hotel, era vicino all'aeroporto LaGuardia ✈️. Dato che ho noleggiato un'auto, ho paura che sarà più difficile trovare parcheggio in un hotel in centro città hahahaha 😂

This hotel is immaculate and absolutely everybody is above and beyond pleasant. Though not directly affiliated with the hotel, Inexpensive, super clean and very easily accessible parking is a two minute walk away at 25 Kent St. We paid $64 for 2 1/2 days of parking. The room was incredible. Exposed brick walls with super high ceilings, the bathroom had a huge tub and a wonderful shower. Pro tip: if traveling with someone that you do not want to see you naked, understand that it is not a one-way mirror over the bar and you absolutely CAN see into the shower While someone is showering. Luckily I was with my daughter, so this was not a real issue. The restaurant within the hotel and the Ramen place directly next-door are both wonderful. I did not make it to the rooftop bar this time but since I absolutely will stay at this hotel every time I come to visit I will check it out next time! The room was extremely quiet, temperature was easy to control. Now, a little too much honesty, I am an extremely “sensitive” person, and resting and hearing so much from the second I stepped into this hotel. I was never scared, as I definitely don’t typically get scared, but I had numerous very genuine and very obvious things happen while I say that this hotel, such as seeing things walk across the hall in both my room and the hallway, in the main lobby bathroom someone walked into the bathroom and into the stall next to me, but never left, and when I looked, there was no one there,and I was in the shower. I could hear several men talking to each other as if they were right next to me. I was definitely not hearing people from another room. I also heard the door to the stair well open, which is right next to our room and I was right next to the door so when I looked, there was nobody there and I pulled it shut again. Just out of curiosity, as to what was there prior to the hotel, on the way home my daughter looked up the history to the hotel. Let’s just say it was very enlightening as to why i was experiencing so much activity in this hotel, especially on the third floor next to what I will assume would have been a fire escape at some point. It also may explain why the first thing that went through my mind when I opened the front door of the hotel and turned to my daughter and said “I’m surprised the hotel gets away with door opening inward. It goes against fire code. Anyway, You can look up the history yourself and understand all that I have said. :-)  either way, a spectacular hotel at a decent price and a very safe and beautiful part of the city. I will definitely stay here again!

La stanza era pulita e le viste erano sorprendenti (vedi foto della vista dalla nostra stanza)! Anche se è a poca distanza da manhattan, ma vale la pena. La stazione di metropolitana più vicina è lungo la strada ma ci sono solo le scale (qualcosa da notare se si portano bagagli!) ma l'hotel è una passeggiata da altre stazioni di metropolitana così come viaggiare è facile. Raccomandere a coloro che cercano di rimanere in un buon posto a Brooklyn!

Personale molto cordiale e disponibile. Le camere sono di buone dimensioni e dotate di tutti i comfort. Il ristorante in loco offre comode opzioni per cibo e bevande. Facile accesso alla Grand Central e alle linee della metropolitana. Ci tornerò!

Vorrei complimentarmi con la Sig.ra Mariam Ibrahim per il suo servizio impeccabile e cortese durante il mio check-in al New York Marriott Downtown. Fin dal primo momento, la sua personalità calorosa e allegra mi ha fatto sentire come a casa. Ci ha gentilmente suggerito un upgrade al 38° piano con accesso all'Executive Lounge a un prezzo molto ragionevole: un'esperienza memorabile per la mia famiglia, dato che non avevamo mai soggiornato così in alto prima. La vista dalla camera era davvero mozzafiato e persino dalla lounge potevamo vedere la Statua della Libertà, il che ha reso il nostro soggiorno ancora più speciale. La professionalità, la gentilezza e l'atteggiamento positivo della Sig.ra Mariam riflettono il vero spirito dell'ospitalità. È sicuramente perfetta per essere una persona in prima linea e il suo servizio ha reso il nostro soggiorno indimenticabile.

Ho effettuato una prenotazione online per 4 giorni e il 4° giorno sono andato alla reception dell'hotel per rinnovare per altri 2 giorni per un totale di 6 notti (il rinnovo in loco era molto costoso, prezzo del sito ufficiale in questo periodo). Ho cambiato stanza una volta perché la stanza che avevo ricevuto per la prima volta era troppo bassa e senza vista. Le strutture sono rudimentali e non ci sono ciabatte e pigiami. Per non parlare del fatto che molti hotel americani non li hanno. La luce ambientale sotto il letto della seconda stanza era rotta. La porta dell'armadio era deformata e non si chiudeva. Quando si apriva la porta destra dell'armadio, si colpiva il rigonfiamento in alto. L'uscita dell'aria può essere aperta solo fino a circa 60 gradi e non può essere aperta completamente. Il rubinetto è ovviamente troppo corto e difficile da usare progettazione e costruzione, che sono scandalosi. Una notte all'1:30 del mattino, l'allarme antincendio nella stanza ha annunciato che c'era stato un incendio. Dopo averlo trasmesso quattro volte, abbiamo tutti programmato di scappare. Poi la trasmissione ha detto che andava bene erano rumorosi. La ragazza bianca della porta accanto ha detto che è andata subito a cercare lavoro ma nessuno, scandaloso. Il personale è molto carino. Il design degli spazi dell'hotel è molto buono. Come tutti sappiamo, non esiste il design negli Stati Uniti, quindi veniamo qui solo per il senso del design. L'esperienza è nella media. Se dovessi tornare a New York, lo farò non tornare.

La camera era come me l'aspettavo, non c'era il bar del caffè e gli articoli da toeletta erano nella media. Ma la posizione è eccellente, vicino a Central Park e alla Fifth Avenue, e ci vogliono solo più di dieci minuti a piedi per raggiungere Times Square.

La camera è molto bella e la posizione è ottima. Puoi raggiungere a piedi il World Trade Center e il molo della Statua della Libertà. Ci vogliono solo 15 minuti per andare a Midtown e Uptown Subway 2 e 3.

Managed to arrive early and allowed early check-in at 1pm plus instead of 4pm. The caucasian woman stationed at the check-in counter was not the most friendly person. I passed her my credit card and was waiting for her to instruct me to sign for receipt. After a long pause, i realized i have to do something with the machine, and asked her where do i click for the machine. She did not respond kindly. I understand not every American has travelled widely and tends to provide poorer quality services as compared internationally. Hereby pointing this out, as a matter of fact, the hotel need to understand not every country use the same brand of credit card machine/POS as the Americans. The hotel staff should not expect foreign guests to know how the machine or hotel works. Also, there is no instruction on the machine ‘Please sign here’. The staff should at least provide a verbal instruction for signature on the machine. If the staff cannot be bothered with providing verbal instructions, please paste a visual aid on the machine at the minimum. Thankfully, the asian guy during check out was much friendlier and tried to start a conversation, but i was having a cold so i tried to minimise interaction. The interiors were old fashioned like in 90s. Fortunately, the room was clean and lit with multiple lamps around the room. As with most reviews, I was charged twice on my credit card on first day and last day each. Asking for a refund through my card service now as unauthorised charge was made on the last day and it wasn’t even on the receipt/expense report. I would gladly just pay for everything on my Day one, instead of going through such trouble. No receipt for deposit or cancellation, unlike other hotels i have been to. Service and amenities are average. No slippers available in the room. Locker for valuables provided. Own coffee machine provided in-room, but don’t set high expectations as it’s not Nespresso. There is no in-room dining menu for reference, even if i want to get. 30$USD destination fee per night is compulsory but exchangeable for 2hr bike rental in central park for two pax or food in the hotel. It feels like the hotel wants to charge you extra but don’t want to provide the service paid. I didn’t bother to purchase food from hotel as the reviews were average. Recommend to visit Los Tacos No. 1 & Broad Nosh Bagels a few blocks away for breakfast and lunch. The best point and only positive point is the hotel location. Just behind MoMA and near proximity landmarks such as Rockefeller Centre, and two streets away from 5th Avenue and Central Park. Only stayed here for convenience as a friend was also staying in the same hotel for business needs.
