Ddyhx1.5 hrs ride from YIA Airport, but conveniently linked to Pukawon Mall that has pretty much everything you need from nails spa, massage to cinema, shops, eateries, restaurants to supermarket. It's easy (and cheap) to get a grab (local Uber) so not a challenge to get around even to further places.
The room was spacious even for 2, including the bathroom area. Clean and well maintained, cute crab-shaped towel art and welcome amenities as a Bonvoy Gold member. Beds and pillows are a bit soft for my liking (even when I opted for a foam pillow from their pillow menu) but that's a personal preference. All amenities provided in the bathroom.
Service was amazing, such warm smiles and great initiative, from the bell boy who helped with our luggage immediately after we got off the car, to the friendly front desk staff, to the security guards who holds the doors open for us and most of all, the helpful and thoughtful housekeeping team. They saw that we had limited hanging space with too much clothes and put in a standing laundry rack for us, and additional bottles of water, all without asking. Special shout-out to Deelen, Wahyu for the superb service.
The pool looked amazing though I didn't get to try it this time.
Breakfast was also excellent, a wide spread of local, western and Asian. They also offer interesting local herbal beverages. Solomon was thoughtful and offered us to order special items off the buffet when he found out it was our 3rd day of having breakfast at the hotel.
Overall a wonderful stay and I'll be sure to stay here the next time I visit Jogja again.

UUtente ospiteIl posto è fantastico! Personale cordiale ovunque. Il personale è stato accolto con calore genuino e si sforza di conoscere gli ospiti. È stato lì per cinque colazioni consecutive e, verso la fine, il personale può servirti i tuoi preferiti poiché è stato attento alle esigenze. Non ho mai avuto un'esperienza simile prima!
La posizione può essere un po' fuori dalle aree principali, ma niente di eccezionale che non possa essere risolto con il trasporto privato a noleggio.
Questo hotel ha un'abbondanza di servizi che consentono di trascorrere ore lì per godersi ciò che il posto ha da offrire. Anche a mio figlio è piaciuto pescare allo stagno!
Altamente raccomandato per le famiglie!

Grande posizione .. molti cibi da udon a un bel kebab vicino alla porta ...
La colazione era ok decente.. non può essere confrontata con il principale artotel a tamrin ... Ma il servizio è molto lento..
Camere .... Un po' inghiottito ... Specialmente la zona toilette.. matite sono scivoloso ... Asciugamani ... Hmmmm non descriverà molto.. ma per il prezzo pagato ... Ohh bene non credo che molta lamentela

MMrSenGreat hotel, good view from the room at the city. But even better (actually amazing) 360° view from the rooftop, including of course towards Merapi.
The room is good, there is a nice pool on the rooftop, as well as a good bar. No pool towels, though.
The gym is very small and has a funny triangular shape, was a bit overcrowded with only 6 people at the same time.
Only downside was the breakfast, fresh omelette was good, but some of the sweet bakery goods among the most tasteless things I've ever had.
That said, still a great hotel with a nice art focused lobby and friendly staff. Would recommend.

DDon Thusitha - AustraliaAs a memeber of Accor Hotels, I book mercure hotels in Jakartha and other countries generally. Here I stayed 2 nights in this Grand Mecure , Yog Yakartha. Firstly, this hotel is super beautiful and decorated, giving value to culture and heritage signages. Every where hotel artefacts matching with heritage Borobudur, prambanan.
Staff is very pleasant, polite, and always with a good smile, helpful, and supportive. Rooms are excellent. Special words should be placed here about breakfast . You can have multiple choices. Inluding Western, eastern, and traditional Indonesian foods and drinks. I think best break fast choices I have ever seen so far.
Restaurant staff also very nice. Bar staff memeber also very good. She somehow managed to provide food and drinks at the last moment last night. Not only that, the security team is also pleasant and helpful. Even though a bit far from Malioboro Street, staying here is fully worth it.

Il resto non è in linea con le aspettative.
1. La posizione è lontana dalla città e dall'aeroporto.
2. Le strutture sono molto vecchie, molte cose sono distrutte e non sono ancora sostituite o riparate.
3. Perché tutto è vecchio e date, anche loro sembrano sporchi. Le lastre sono piene di tinture!
4. La pressione dell'acqua della doccia è molto bassa. Prenda un lungo periodo di bagno.
Ho prenotato qui solo perché l'evento che stavo per ospitare è stato ospitato in questo hotel. Sono felice di non aver esteso il mio soggiorno dopo l'evento. Mi dispiace, ma non lo consiglio.
