La SPA è davvero ottima, l'atmosfera e la qualità dei massaggi sono eccellenti.
Le ville con giardino sono davvero incantevoli per le famiglie, con una vista meravigliosa e piscine private.
Anche per quanto riguarda il ristorante, la scelta è più che sufficiente, con un servizio in camera veloce.
La pulizia della camera, però, avrebbe potuto essere leggermente migliore.

UUtente ospiteIncredible stay! We booked a night here after a disaster at a neighbouring hotel and our stay was one of the best in Indonesia. From the moment we arrived we were welcomed with astonishing hospitality from all the staff members but especially Reza who went above and beyond to ensure that we were welcome and comfortable in the hotel. The facilities are top quality, the room was very clean and extremely comfortable, and we slept very well. The gardens and hotel grounds are extremely well maintained, beautiful, and have lots of space for relaxation or, if you have kids, spaces to keep kids entertained. The hotel has ample options for food/drink and also entertainment and also offers tours of the local area. It was also my girlfriend's birthday and the staff again put in genuine effort to make it a really special day for her, we are extremely grateful for their efforts - 5 star service.
I can strongly recommend this hotel to anyone who wants an escape from the city and to be near mount merapi or who wants a bit of relaxation.

My family & I usually stay in T*ntr*m (been our no 1. option in Semarang, Yogyakarta, and Tangerang for a while), but considering NY traffic, decided hotel next to mall as safer option, and I think Marriott Yogya will be our no 1. option in Yogyakarta now.
PRE-STAY
Staying experience actually starts the second we finished the hotel reservation, maybe its long before we even arrive at the hotel. Most dont really optimize this.
What I will highlight is Marriott really put my requests (birthday decor in specific room, connecting rooms) into the system, where everyone can check. From the one handling the WhatsApp to the receptionist the day we arrive, Ilham. And they execute my request really well.
I've experienced some that forget my request and ended up decorating the wrong room, or not facilitating the request, even though they said they will facilitate.
*see pic 8 - 11. It doesnt have to be expensive, businesses have to calculate the cost and margin. Whats important, for me, is put some effort into it. Its part of making the stay memorable.
STAY
I love it when :
- the moment we arrive, the staff helps us by opening the car door, w/ the smile and greeting. Not from just one person, but every staff did the smile and greeting.
- Ilham texted that the other room is ready. Most just rely on guest will be the one to follow up, but not Marriott.
- we asked the way to mall entrance, the staff took us to the entrance, not just directing w/ hands.
- they put anti-slip mat in shower area (pic 6), such a functional addition for safety. Because aesthetic needs to meet w/ function.
- we went out at 8.30 in the morning for culinary & coffee around Yogyakarta and put the cleaning sign on, but forget to call, just to communicate that we want the room cleaned while we're out. 2,5 hours later when we're back, those 2 rooms are neat & tidy.
Some hotels dont notice the difference those make for guest(s).
These, for me, really help building the memorable staying exp.

In realtà questo hotel è buono per avere camere molto spaziose in tipo deluxe e ci è anche un balcone, il servizio qui è anche amichevole, è un peccato che l'igiene sia molto cattiva.
Quando entravamo nella stanza, vide il lana sporco e non sembrava essere cambiato, guardava tinture e c’erano i capelli sul materasso, anche se non lo usavamo nemmeno per il materasso. Il pavimento non sembra essere pulito bene, un sacco di capelli lasciati nella stanza, sulle vecchie pareti, molti punti, sulla parete molti cazzoni, ancora in polvere, il vetro nella stanza che penso sia sporco quando è sostituito è sporco ancora detto il servo E' tutto cosi', perche' il bicchiere è vecchio.
E'molto brutto, e'sulla questione dell'igiene.Anche se questo hotel è ben curato, è buono
La squadra di manutenzione e di gestione dell'hotel dovrebbe coprire immediatamente questo problema, a un prezzo decente, ma ciò che si ottiene è molto insufficiente.
Penso che il colazione sia anche media niente speciale

UUtente ospiteSiamo stati accolti calorosamente all'arrivo da Septi che ha organizzato il nostro check-in. Ci è stato detto che le nostre camere non erano pronte perché siamo arrivati molto prima dell'orario di check-in alle 15:00. Siamo andati a Marioboro, la principale via dello shopping della città. E veniamo avvisati da WhataApp quando la nostra camera è pronta. Ci è stata assegnata una camera al 6° piano che ha una bellissima vista sulla piscina e sul campo da golf.
L'hotel dispone di un ampio complesso ed è concepito come un resort. È vecchio ma tutto funziona. I servizi non sono tutti lontani. Non li trovi più nei nuovi hotel.
La colazione era buona con una buona scelta di piatti locali e internazionali e cambio giornaliero del menu. Abbiamo apprezzato 3 colazioni durante il nostro soggiorno.
Nel complesso, tutto il personale è stato cordiale e ha offerto il miglior servizio caloroso con un sorriso. Ci siamo sentiti molto rilassati e accolti.
Continuate così Hyatt Regency Yogyakarta!

MMrSenGreat hotel, good view from the room at the city. But even better (actually amazing) 360° view from the rooftop, including of course towards Merapi.
The room is good, there is a nice pool on the rooftop, as well as a good bar. No pool towels, though.
The gym is very small and has a funny triangular shape, was a bit overcrowded with only 6 people at the same time.
Only downside was the breakfast, fresh omelette was good, but some of the sweet bakery goods among the most tasteless things I've ever had.
That said, still a great hotel with a nice art focused lobby and friendly staff. Would recommend.

DDon Thusitha - AustraliaAs a memeber of Accor Hotels, I book mercure hotels in Jakartha and other countries generally. Here I stayed 2 nights in this Grand Mecure , Yog Yakartha. Firstly, this hotel is super beautiful and decorated, giving value to culture and heritage signages. Every where hotel artefacts matching with heritage Borobudur, prambanan.
Staff is very pleasant, polite, and always with a good smile, helpful, and supportive. Rooms are excellent. Special words should be placed here about breakfast . You can have multiple choices. Inluding Western, eastern, and traditional Indonesian foods and drinks. I think best break fast choices I have ever seen so far.
Restaurant staff also very nice. Bar staff memeber also very good. She somehow managed to provide food and drinks at the last moment last night. Not only that, the security team is also pleasant and helpful. Even though a bit far from Malioboro Street, staying here is fully worth it.
