"LOOKING FOR CONVENIENT AND MEMORABLE STAY IN YOGYAKARTA ? Definitely, stay in Marriott Yogyakarta. ✅️ Outstanding Service ✅️ Easy-to-access Location ✅️ Next to Mall (Pakuwon) ✅️ Big Rooms My family & I usually stay in T*ntr*m (been our no 1. option in Semarang, Yogyakarta, and Tangerang for a while), but considering NY traffic, decided hotel next to mall as safer option, and I think Marriott Yogya will be our no 1. option in Yogyakarta now. PRE-STAY Staying experience actually starts the second we finished the hotel reservation, maybe its long before we even arrive at the hotel. Most dont really optimize this. What I will highlight is Marriott really put my requests (birthday decor in specific room, connecting rooms) into the system, where everyone can check. From the one handling the WhatsApp to the receptionist the day we arrive, Ilham. And they execute my request really well. I've experienced some that forget my request and ended up decorating the wrong room, or not facilitating the request, even though they said they will facilitate. *see pic 8 - 11. It doesnt have to be expensive, businesses have to calculate the cost and margin. Whats important, for me, is put some effort into it. Its part of making the stay memorable. STAY I love it when : - the moment we arrive, the staff helps us by opening the car door, w/ the smile and greeting. Not from just one person, but every staff did the smile and greeting. - Ilham texted that the other room is ready. Most just rely on guest will be the one to follow up, but not Marriott. - we asked the way to mall entrance, the staff took us to the entrance, not just directing w/ hands. - they put anti-slip mat in shower area (pic 6), such a functional addition for safety. Because aesthetic needs to meet w/ function. - we went out at 8.30 in the morning for culinary & coffee around Yogyakarta and put the cleaning sign on, but forget to call, just to communicate that we want the room cleaned while we're out. 2,5 hours later when we're back, those 2 rooms are neat & tidy. Some hotels dont notice the difference those make for guest(s). These, for me, really help building the memorable staying exp. What more could I ask, Marriott Yogya 🫰🏻❤️ thank you"

"The hotel is a bit old, but it is elegant and very stylish. The Hyatt Regency in Yogyakarta is an amazing hotel with beautiful decor. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. The location is not perfect, as it is about 20 minutes or so from the city center. But it is like a resort and one could enjoy hanging out in this hotel, since it has high ceiings, plentiful artwork, and excellent dining facilities. The food is very good. They even have baked goods that they offer at a discount in the evenings."

"Location e ospitalità fantastiche! La SPA è davvero ottima, l'atmosfera e la qualità dei massaggi sono eccellenti. Le ville con giardino sono davvero incantevoli per le famiglie, con una vista meravigliosa e piscine private. Anche per quanto riguarda il ristorante, la scelta è più che sufficiente, con un servizio in camera veloce. La pulizia della camera, però, avrebbe potuto essere leggermente migliore."

"Onestamente, ADORO questo hotel. Viaggio sempre in bassa stagione perché cerco sempre pace e tranquillità durante le mie fughe. Ho scelto l'Amaranta perché non c'è un altro hotel del genere a Jogja che pensavo potesse soddisfare le mie esigenze. E ho fatto la scelta giusta!! La camera era spaziosa con bagno aperto (si può chiudere se si desidera). Il letto e le lenzuola erano pulitissimi, con profumi freschi, morbidi e rilassanti. Sia il letto che i cuscini erano comodi e puliti. Il balcone era spazioso e offriva una vista sul tempio di Prambanan e sul monte Merapi. Il rooftop era bello, ma piuttosto ventoso. La piscina è splendida di notte, piuttosto che di giorno. Il personale è stato cordiale e disponibile a soddisfare le mie richieste notturne. Tornerò sicuramente all'Amaranta quando avrò bisogno di una fuga di pace in futuro."

"It was a fantabulous trip for our group of 15, young and not-young. The staff were hospitable beyond expectation and the hotel is just like a wonderland for us - so much fun!!! Will definitely go back!"

"Very nice hotel with good location next to the best mall in Yogyakarta. The hotel retains the grandeur of old era with large and cozy lobby areas with plenty of sofas for relaxing or to meet guests. The hotel has the larger than average room sizes. However, the rooms need to have better lightings overall but especially in the bathrooms. The hotel has shown signs of need for another round of renovation. Start with the lightings then the beddings as well as improving the sound barriers. During the last night of our stay, the hotel hosted a party in the backyard. The sounds of music was so loud, it was hard for me to sleep. Sending a note to the hotel guests about having a party in the evening does NOT mean that they can just host a party with such loud music in the backyard. Alternatively, the hotel can invest in serious sound proofing if they plan to have parties in the backyard or pool."

"Ho avuto un problema con la mia stanza, ma il direttore in carica ha gestito la questione con grande attenzione e con grande impegno, e hanno fornito una soluzione rapida ed efficace, dimostrando chiaramente leadership e determinazione. Grazie alla loro rapida azione, siamo riusciti a trascorrere la notte in modo confortevole e tranquillo. La stanza stessa era ben pronta e ben pronta. In generale, eccellente soluzione dei problemi e un soggiorno tranquillo."
