This trip to Yogyakarta was short but very pleasant, thanks to Grand Mercure Yogyakarta. I usually stay in other Accor's hotel in Yogyakarta, but this time, I opt to try to stay in Grand Mercure. The check in process was smooth and super fast. The FOM even also attended me at that time, ensuring that my checking in process was pleasant. They had dedicated desk for Accor member avoiding long queue in the regular check-in counter. Too bad, they couldn't upgrade me to executive room or beyond, due to their high occupancy. The room was in the Premium Deluxe. It was nice, clean, and comfy, although it was not too sound-proof. So you could be disturbed with children running around and shouting in the hallway. Bathroom amenities was quite good for a deluxe room, hoping that they would provide a better one in the higher-level room. They had gym facility, but the operational hours were so limited. They even closed at 11 am to 3 pm. Too bad... They should prolong the operational hour for the gym tho, accommodated with access card, perhaps. The afternoon tea service was provided from 5 - 7 pm, with selection of fritters and small cut of cakes from their selection. Small is literally small, but since I came alone, the food provided was more than enough. For welcome drink selections, alcoholic beverages was provided for platinum member. Love this one!!! The staffs in their bar and lounge were so helpful and cater to all I needed. Thumbs up for them... To my surprise, they provided me a dedicated table for breakfast with my name written on the table. This never could be found in other Accor Hotel. Love also the services provided during my breakfast time. the chef was also good serving my 'delicate' eggs. Check-out process was also super fast. Even another manager was attended at that time greeted me and asked me about their services and facilities during my stay. Overall, this very short trip was very delightful, again, thanks to Grand Mercure Yogyakarta. Definitely gonna stay there again... To all staffs, thanks for your great hospitality and keep up the good teamwork.

Ho soggiornato in questo hotel per 2 notti questo agosto 2022. Il mio scopo principale di soggiornare in questo hotel è stato il soggiorno. E ho scelto una camera con bagno, perché se l'acqua della piscina è fredda, volevo usare il bagno invece. Ma purtroppo, il bagno nella mia stanza (637) era difettoso (il tubo non ha tenuto l'acqua bene, quindi l'acqua nel tubo ha continuato a diminuire). Ho riferito questo problema al Servizio ospite per telefono in camera, e la signora ha detto che avrebbe informato il custode/tecnico. Ma poi, fino al giorno dopo, e poi fino al momento di controllare, non seguire nulla dall’hotel, così, era una sorta di rovinamento del mio soggiorno, perché non potevo usare la piscina a causa dell’acqua fredda, e neanche io potevo usare il bagno. Alla fine, un funzionario dell'hotel mi ha avvicinato al lobby per scusarmi, ma è stato dopo aver controllato. Quindi... penso che ci sia una questione di controllo interno e di garanzia della qualità in questo hotel. E' vergognoso, considerando che questo è un leggendario hotel 5 stelle a Yogyakarta. Ma il servizio del personale del colazione era notevole, e ci sono adorabili cannoni che cercavano di essere abbattuti nel ristorante.

Ho visitato l'hotel in agosto. Durante il festival di ricezione, l'hotel è situato vicino al lago.Abbiamo prenotato una suite speciale, più grande di una suite di lusso. La nostra stanza è verso il lago. I bambini amano pescare sul balcone della stanza. Non c'è bevanda benvenuta durante il soggiorno. Solo una bottiglia d'acqua da Kendil. Il bagno speciale è grande ma non c'è divano nella stanza. Il divano sul balcone ha molte spazzatura. Il pavimento della stanza è sporco e il suolo vola. Forse quando siamo venuti è autunno, non c'è abbastanza tempo per pulire, Spero che la gestione dell'hotel possa pulire la stanza un po'.Non dimenticare di provare il ristorante del lago West Lake davanti all'hotel.

After 8 hours travelling and arrive 2am. So disappointed and almost cry to see our room conditions. Big torn blanket, bed sheet has stain, broken wooden floor, mosquito in the room, smelly room and pillow. When I'm write this I'm still in the room 310. Can't sleep at all and just wanna go from this hotel once my baby awake this morning. Not recommend for family absolutely. Location is next to mall. Regret why I don't cancel my booking after I read bad review in TripAdvisor.

Hotel is situated in the city centre. So we csn go everywhere easily from there. The staff are friendly and helpful. We stay at deluxe double room with a pool view. Maybe it is quite common use, but to me it is a bit unhygienic to see people swimming with almost fully clothes. Apart from that a very nice and clean hotel. It has also a network connection (didn't try it, I am on holiday 😀)

When we reached our hotel, it was already 8PM. We just wanted a good night sleep and so. But no.... 1. We had to ask the front desk person 4 times to carry our luggage From the car. 2. It side our room, there were snails crawling towards the door and a million lizards on the ceiling. It looked like the place was abandoned from ages. 3. Inside the rooms there were spider webs and spiders themselves. The room smelled like a garbage can and it was all dirty and unclean. 4. After some argument we got another room cleaned and there were still spider webs and smelly things there! The ac also didnt work properly so we had to sleep in the hot weather. There were bugs under the bed sheets! I dont know what to say about this hotel??!
