Generally speaking my stay was great. The hotel staff is very friendly and helpful. My room (Guest Room with sea view) was adequate and.clean, but overlooked a horrible view of what looked like a staff parking lot. When there wasn't fog, the sea was visible. The beach is across the highway and wasn't a bother to find a zebra crossing. Breakfast was included with the price. It was a.little disappointing but adequate. Overall I would stay again but in a different room with a balcony for a beach holiday. 🌴😉😘

A hotel that keeps saying it can't be done.
Since the lounge was under construction, I heard that lounge benefits were available at the cafe on the first floor, so I made a reservation.
When I arrived at the hotel, I was told number 3 that they couldn't do anything because the lounge was under construction.
They gave me the key and told me I could go up, so I asked them if they had forgotten anything, and they answered no. When I showed them the hotel reservation conditions, they gave me a name tag and two snacks as a special gift.
In the end, I went out to eat, and when I asked again, it turned out that I had given the wrong answer.
They say they can give you cake, fruit, and coffee just within three hours. I'm full, but it's amazing.
The weather was 30 degrees and the swimming pool was under construction so I couldn't use it.

Qian Mansion is a unique hotel in a beautiful colonial mansion. It's rare to stay in such a special building in an authentic neighbourhood among narrow alleyways. I hope I get a chance to stay there again. The location is also convenient, close to the waterfront, metro and pedestrian streets where there are many food choices. A truly wonderful choice for your stay in Xiamen. The room was basic and comfortable.
The staff get 10 stars. They are so kind and helpful. I really appreciate how they helped me considering my Mandarin is poor and I can't read Chinese. I saw how nice they were to other guests as well.
My only problem was that there was 2 days of a film crew filming a television commercial. Guests could have been warned that they wouldn't be able to use the full hotel and perhaps received a discount for inconvenience. They took up most of the common spaces in the building and guests couldn't enjoy all the beautiful spaces. Men from the crew were constantly spitting. Spitting on the ground shouldn't happen within a hotel.

這次出行選擇入住[格雅鑫酒店]，真的太滿意啦，必須給個五星好評呀！
🌆酒店位置
位置超便利的，就在火車站，明發商業廣場，出門不管是逛街購物還是去景點遊玩都很方便，周邊吃飯的地方也特別多，對於像我這樣的外地人來説，可太省心了。
🛏️房間設施
一進房間就感覺特別舒服，佈置得很温馨，而且乾淨整潔得沒話説。床軟乎乎的，躺上去一天的疲憊都消散了，睡得可香了。衞生間裏洗漱用品一應俱全，熱水也出得特別快，水量還很大，洗澡超暢快的。房間裏電視、空調等各種設備也都很好用，沒有出現過啥故障呢。
💁♂️服務態度
酒店的工作人員那叫一個熱情周到呀！從辦理入住開始，前台的小姐姐就一直微笑服務，耐心解答我的各種問題，還主動給我介紹酒店的一些特色和周邊好玩的地方呢。在住的過程中，遇到客房服務的阿姨也總是客客氣氣的，打掃得又仔細又認真，有一次我不小心把房卡落在房間了，跟工作人員一説，馬上就幫忙解決了，效率超高的。
🍳餐飲美食
酒店的早餐也值得誇一誇，種類挺豐富的，有中式的包子、油條、粥，也有西式的麪包、蛋糕、咖啡啥的，味道都還不錯，每天早上吃得飽飽的，開啟活力滿滿的一天。
總之呀，這次在這家酒店的入住體驗方方面面都很棒，性價比也挺高的，下次來這邊玩肯定還會選擇住這兒的，強烈推薦給大家哦！

VvivibinIn primo luogo, la posizione è buona, cibo conveniente sotto e viaggio conveniente.In secondo luogo, la piccola bellezza della reception è bella e gentile. Guarda che abbiamo portato i nostri figli, ha dato un biglietto per la colazione in più, e ha aiutato a stampare tutto nel mezzo. Infine, la stanza è molto pulita, con un gusto e caldo, e la lavatrice liquida è tutta una macchina per lavarsi e asciugamani, e lo schermo grande sembra molto raffinato.Especialmente adatto per la famiglia, non interferire e giocare insieme.

It was not only tidy but also well-maintained, creating a welcoming atmosphere that made my stay incredibly comfortable. The attention to detail in housekeeping truly stood out, and it was evident that the staff takes great pride in providing a pristine environment for their guests.
One of the standout features of my stay was the complimentary laundry service. This thoughtful amenity made my trip even more convenient, allowing me to refresh my wardrobe without any hassle. It’s a fantastic perk, especially for travelers who are on the go or attending conferences.
Additionally, I thoroughly enjoyed the breakfast offered at the hotel. The variety and quality of the food were impressive, providing a delightful start to each day.
I also appreciated the gym facilities, which were practical and useful for maintaining my fitness routine while traveling. It had everything I needed for a good workout, making it easy to stay active during my stay.
Another unique aspect of the Mercure Hotel is the innovative use of robots to deliver food orders from ** (Meituan) directly to your room. This modern touch added a fun and convenient element to my experience, making it easy to enjoy delicious meals without leaving my room.
Lastly, the hotel features a designated space for pick-ups and drop-offs, which was incredibly convenient for my travel arrangements. It made coming and going a breeze, allowing me to focus on my activities without any stress. there are mall nearby within 2KM and it’s so cheap and convenient to just didi anywhere from here. FYI during winter most hotels in china does not have air conditioning, here offer both air conditioning and heater, which is a must for me.
Overall, I highly recommend the Mercure Hotel for anyone visiting Xiamen. The combination of a clean, comfortable room, delicious breakfast, practical gym, innovative delivery service, and excellent amenities like free laundry makes it a top choice for both business and leisure travelers. I look forward to returning on my next visit!

UUtente ospiteFirst of all this is NOT a HOLIDAY INN, indeed the hotel's name is SEP HOLIDAY. However on DIDI and Trip.Com it is listed as HOLIDAY INN. The real HOLIDAY INN is located about 200metres away. So please do not book this hotel if you are looking for a real holiday inn (IHG hotel). Having said that, this hotel does not need to call itself a HOLIDAY INN for you to consider it. We stayed here for seven(7) nights and will stay here again as it is very convenient, clean, provides a decent buffet local breakfast and is in a good location near bus station (50metres away), Metro Line 2 (Cruise Centre station) is across the road 300M away (there is a proper overhead walkway to cross the road, no escalators though) and you can walk to the gulanyu ferry terminal and sea world. It is also on the same side of the road as the start of the Mountain to the Sea Walking trail which is about 500metres away. Short, since the trail itself is 23km. The rooms are decent size (We got a corner unit room 8403 on the 4th floor), attached bathroom with all the amenities for 2 persons with hot shower and cold air conditioning with free cable tv and wifi and lots of power points. It doesnt have a fridge but none was needed. No swimming pool and really a too tiny gym with just a bit of free weights here and there. So don't bother packing your gym or swimming stuff. But if you are looking for a value for money decent and clean place to sleep and to have a cooked breakfast before going out out and about xiamen city for sightseeing, then this hotel is highly recommended. Just forget about the HOLIDAY INN part!

PPaNicLa posizione è ottimale e la vista dalla camera verso l'isola e in generale la baia è impagabile Il personale generalmente non parla inglese ma non è un grosso ptoblema (eventualmente si usa traduttore). La colazione a buffet è ottima da tutti i pdv e per tutti i gusti ed è servita in uno spazio molto piacevole.
La camera spaziosissima tutto molto comodo. Arredo datato ma dignitoso, molto classico.
Punti negativi: appena si entra in hotel si sente odore di fumo e da tenere presenti che solo alcune camere / piani sono non fumatori. In generale l'odore di umidità/muffa in stanza non è per nulla piacevole, migliora leggermente quando si spegne a/c ma essendo il clima caldissimo e umidissimo è difficile resistere. La moquette è un'altra caratteristica da consuderare come punto negativo soprattutto se si è allergici o sensibili.

UUtente ospiteLa posizione dell'hotel è ottima, proprio sulla strada pedonale Zhongshan Road, con comodi trasporti. Ma non so se è perché siamo al sud. Ci sono molti insetti nella stanza... All'inizio ho visto una piccola macchia nera sul lenzuolo, ho pensato che fosse qualcosa di sporco e ho dato una pacca it, ma ho scoperto che un piccolo insetto è stato ucciso... Ho visto un oggetto in movimento direttamente sul cuscino... È quasi estate, spero che riusciremo a risolvere il problema delle zanzare è abbastanza fastidioso.

EExpatThis hotel was priced above average considering the time of year and the neighboring hotels. I cannot say that my stay was very good here because of a few things. When I checked in the procedure for passport and everything was completed. They had to do the process again later that night. The water did go out while I stayed there but they fixed it within 20 minutes. The neighboring hotel and beach were doing construction, so I had lots of noise going on out my window early in the morning. The location is good because it’s close to the beach, however the dining advertised is at the hotel next to it. I did ask the Trip.com app to update the information for the hotel because the breakfast included was not what they would typically serve because they confirmed it depended on the number of guests. I could not eat the food that they offered me and they were not willing to adjust the price. trip.com offered me trip coins, however my overall stay here was disappointing because even the car gate was having delays. There were things such as maybe teabags or cotton swabs that I asked to have in the room, but none of those are offered. The view is very nice. The cleaning staff is very friendly. However their breakfast area was just an empty banquet room with empty shaving dishes and they had a family temporally making plates of whatever they decided. I definitely think this hotel needs to have some love and attention, especially considering that the neighboring hotels are upgrading their properties. I feel that the rates should’ve been lower considering all of the construction in the walkways behind the hotel. I honestly have no clue have dinner was available or not. I saw a total of three staff members there and then the family of three making the place of breakfast in the two days. The price of the hotel changed by 200 yuan in Trip.com in less than 12 hours on the day that I reserved. Only difference was that breakfast was not included.

RRam KondaAt first, we were disappointed because they put us into a small room that we felt was not worth the price we paid for. However, the next day they upgraded our room into a nice one with a separate toilet and shower area. There were wide windows and the view was the quiet road below and two small mountains in the distance. Not bad eh! This was the time we started feeling comfortable and relaxed in our 4 nights of stay here. The bed and pillows were firm and very good to sleep in. Good for relaxing after a long day of touring or working. There was a small dining table as well as some space or area to work and put your other stuff. The toilet is fully automated so it was really comfortable to use. The staff in general were accommodating and the female receptionist manning the lobby was always enthusiastic and helpful. On the other hand, location is far from downtown so it might cost you a bit more if you take the didi often. Also, breakfast fare was sparse when we were there, probably because it was still the tourist season. Not sure though but for whatever reason, when we got to the breakfast nook at around 8am, most of the food was gone. We had to wait for about 30 min for some trays to be refilled with food while the rest simply remained empty. If you don’t like local breakfast, then this hotel’s breakfast is not for you. Overall, it was a pleasant stay for us.

Housekeeping was prompt and very clean. We were especially impressed by friendly Stella and Gary for their excellent and meticulous recommendations of sightseeing and food etc. Always ready to take their time to explain in details every queries we had. Saved us a whole lot of research and headaches, we overall had an enjoyable and unforgettable stay in Xiamen! Kudos to your service staff!
Hotel is at a great location right next to Zhong Shan Rd Pedestrian Shopping street… lots of great restaurants and shopping very pleasant safe experience with lots of security guards around. Just eat at places with price menu and shop at places with fixed prices, you will go no wrong!

UUtente ospiteReally grateful for the free airport pickup. Added their number to my wechat and called them using wechat. Was given directions where to be picked up and asked to send a picture of how I look like. waited at the pickup point and even message them at exactly which location I'm at. Received a call later to ask where am I and also messaged me the car plate number. As the pickup point only allow 8mins of wait time, the driver was pretty pissed when I arrived. I mean, couldn't you have sent a picture of the car and the car plate number earlier?
Driver was smoking all the way while driving and I'm unfortunately seated behind him, breathing in all his smelly smoke. He opened his window but that didn't help, the wind has kept blowing the smoke into my face. Luckily it was a short drive. I feel that the hotel should educate their drivers not to smoke while driving. This is so selfish.
I got upgraded to a bigger room because they wanted me to give a good review. My room has a big window with the street view.
Room was clean and nice. Slippers given.
Toilet was badly designed. the shower head faces the toilet bowl and the sewage system is not good. After showering, the toilet flooded. I only realised the next morning that there are some buttons that you can switch on for ventilation in the toilet. The toilet was still flooded in the morning but I think if I have known about the buttons earlier, it would have been dried in the morning. The buttons are in chinese characters. Ask for help to decipher them.
The room has a projector but nothing was watchable. You need to have accounts to sign on to their various content provider.
The hotel is near a small street market with awesome and cheap food. There was also some supermarkets opened late into the night.
Cannot expect much from sound proofing as dead into the night, you can still hear food delivery rider delivering their food to occupants.
The driver in the morning did not smoke but when I told him that nobody asked me which terminal I'm going to, he insisted that it is impossible for them not to ask. I also cannot be bothered to argue. Why would I sabotage my own departure plans? Suggest that before the driver drives off, stressed which terminal you are going to. Terminal 3 for International flights, Terminal 4 for domestic flights. And they are not close to one another apparently.
Otherwise, the bed was quite comfy. The socket above the bedside table is almost falling off the wall.
