Hotel con balcone a Taipei

Really solid stay at the DoubleTree Zhongshan. The warm cookie at check-in sounds like a gimmick but after a long flight it actually hits different 😂 Location is the biggest win about 5 mins walk to Zhongshan MRT station, and the area around it is full of cafes and small shops. Ximending and Taipei Main Station are just a couple of stops away, super convenient without being in the middle of the chaos. Room was clean and modern, not the biggest but well laid out, and the bed was really comfortable. Bathroom had a proper walk-in shower with good water pressure. City view from my floor was nice at night. Staff spoke good English and were genuinely helpful asked for restaurant recommendations and got proper local suggestions instead of the usual tourist spots. Breakfast had a good mix of ********* and Western food, the congee and dan bing were my go-to every morning. Only minor gripe is the gym is on the smaller side, but everything else more than made up for it. Would happily stay here again next time in Taipei.

Eslite hotel .... Cosa posso dire? E 'stato un ottimo soggiorno in questo hotel. La nostra famiglia ha lasciato e voleva già tornare al soggiorno. La posizione è la più alta 5/5 se si è in grado di progettare e creare un ambiente - essere proprio vicino al distretto culturale e creativo di Songshan e una 24 ore Eslite Spectrum vicino alla porta! Cosa altro si può chiedere? !! È stato un trattamento totale di rimanere qui per 2 notti e non è sufficiente. Un punto da notare - non c'è piscina alberghiera ma c'è un giochi da 24 ore, anche se è un semplice set. Ci potrebbero essere stati più peso libero. Abbiamo avuto una sorpresa, una camera complimentare per un più grande, quindi le foto sono quello che abbiamo soggiornato e non quello che abbiamo prenotato (camera doppia deluxe), questa camera era molto ben attrezzata. I dettagli del design e la spazietà erano perfetti per la nostra famiglia di 3. Il lobby dell'hotel è progettato per sentirsi come una sala da soggiorno / sala lettura con una vasta collezione di libri che si può chiedere di prestare alla vostra stanza. Ogni giovedì e sabato, ci sono un'ora felice per gli ospiti e un flusso libero di bevande (alcoliche e non) e snack da dita. Raccomando molto Eslite Hotel. Ci ritroveremo!

1. Misleading Entrance Signage Upon arrival, we followed the signage pasted on a pillar that directed guests to a staircase entrance. However, when we reached that entrance, we were shocked to find the door marked with the sign “来宾止步” (“Guests Stop Here”). When we raised this with your staff, we were told that this entrance has not been in use since the COVID-19 period. While we understand that certain operations may have changed during the pandemic, COVID-19 restrictions have ended for more than two years. If the primary entrance has been permanently closed, why has no corrective action been taken and the misleading signage still left there? Carrying heavy luggage up and down a sloped path unnecessarily was frustrating and avoidable. 2. No Staff Assistance or Clear Signage at the New Entrance When we finally located the new entrance, there were no staff members on standby to assist us, nor was there any clear external signage indicating that this was the correct way to access the lobby. The explanation given later was that all staff were away assisting with parking which is not acceptable. At least one person should have been assigned to remain at the entrance, or the last person leaving should have arranged for another colleague to cover the position. In addition, the Operations Director mentioned that there is signage inside the new entrance directing guests to take the elevator to the lobby. However, this logic is flawed. If guests cannot locate the correct entrance in the first place, how could they possibly see a sign placed inside? 3. Poorly Trained and Unprofessional Front Desk Behavior After struggling outside, we called the number listed on Google. Only then did someone finally come out and lead us in. By that time, we were exhausted and upset. When we confronted the front desk staff about why they ignored us, despite us clearly visible outside the “来宾止步” glass door, making eye contact and knocking for help, but they claimed they “did not see us.” This excuse was clearly untrue, as we observed them looking in our direction. Even more disappointing, none of the front desk staff offered an apology even until we requested to speak to the Operations Director and asked him to review the CCTV footage. After reviewing the footage, the Operations Director confirmed that the front desk had not been alert and apologized on their behalf. However, he did not acknowledge that the front desk’s attitude and lack of sincerity were also serious problems. Being “not alert enough” and showing no sense of apology or empathy are two entirely different issues. As an international hotel, the front desk is the first impression of your service. Regardless of the quality of your facilities, this poor experience completely overshadowed the positive aspects of our stay. It also severely damages the reputation of Kagaya Group — a brand that has long been admired for its exemplary Japanese hospitality and politeness. Although we appreciate the Operations Director’s effort to make amends by offering us a meal and gifts (which we declined), it remains undeniable that this incident reflects a failure in staff training and management oversight. We hope that management will seriously review this incident, especially the issues of: - Inadequate and misleading signage at the entrance - Lack of staff presence and assistance upon guest arrival - Poor front desk awareness and unprofessional behavior We trust that Kagaya Group will uphold its proud tradition of service by addressing these problems promptly and ensuring no other guests experience such treatment in the future. Love the location nearby exit 3 subway. Subway Lift exit walk straight 2 minutes reach hotel. Our stay quite disappointed as this hotel next door having construction and never indicate clearly superior room type will be direct facing construction side! When we reach hotel notice this ask for change room face other side but the staff just keep repeat like a robot answer all this room type will be direct facing construction side. Staff mention no worry room is sound proof and construction will only start at 9 am. ******** !! I pay for 4 days 3 night but every morning 8am noise bing bing pong pong auto alarm wake us up. What a so call 4 star hotel experience!! Design for shower door super inconvenient as is clear glass door if someone shower then others cannot use!! I move to Hotel Gracery for another 3 nights stay this hotel is way more better and also very near to subway exit 1.

L'esperienza complessiva è stata fantastica! Ero un po' ansiosa perché alloggiavo da sola e l'ingresso dell'hotel si trovava in un vicolo, ma alla fine è andato tutto bene perché il vicolo era ben illuminato anche di notte! Ho apprezzato molto la spaziosità della camera, il divano vicino alla finestra è stato un'ottima aggiunta perché mi ha permesso di rilassarmi con i vestiti sporchi prima di fare la doccia. Ci sono anche snack e bevande gratuiti (inclusa acqua in bottiglia) disponibili 24 ore su 24, 7 giorni su 7 al piano L2, perfetto. La pressione dell'acqua nella doccia era perfetta, anche l'acqua calda funzionava bene. Il bagno è dotato di sedili riscaldati, ottimi per combattere il freddo, ovviamente c'è anche il bidet :) Altri ospiti si lamentano della mancanza di servizi di base, ma non sono d'accordo. È possibile ritirare il set di spazzolino e dentifricio usa e getta dal concierge in qualsiasi momento, sono estremamente cordiali. Non ho trovato stanze sporche o macchiate, la camera era molto pulita. È necessario gettare i rifiuti giornalieri al piano L1, c'è un cestino all'ingresso dell'hotel. Ho letto un commento secondo cui l'hotel invierà informazioni chiave sull'hotel (come password Wi-Fi e codice di ingresso) tramite LINE/WhatsApp al momento del check-in, quindi ho scaricato l'app LINE in anticipo, molto utile, sembra che Taiwan la usi parecchio. Forse è meglio configurarla prima del viaggio. Tutto sommato, l'unico inconveniente è che la stanza è piuttosto buia. Anche con tutte le luci accese, è comunque piuttosto buia e può fare un po' paura se si rimane da soli. Ma sono stata lì solo per due notti e non mi trucco, quindi non mi ha influenzato più di tanto. Visto il prezzo, prenoterò sicuramente di nuovo qui. È a circa 8-9 minuti a piedi dall'uscita 6 della metropolitana di Ximen!

Tutto era buono, pulito e tempestivo.Sono arrivato tardi alle due e mi sorprende che ci fosse ancora due agenti di servizio frontali. La colazione è stata grande con una buona selezione di scelta.

The first time ever in Taiwan. Perfect location with public transport access. Good interior space for solo travellers. Kind and friendly staffs. Highly recommended.

La posizione è molto conveniente, poiché è vicino alla stazione di metropolitana e a pochi passi dal mercato della notte di Shilin. Durante il check-in, ho notato che la stanza che ho ricevuto era diversa dalle foto mostrate quando ho prenotato . Ho informato il ricevitore, e mi hanno aiutato gentilmente a cambiarmi in un altro locale.

Overall, I had a pleasant 5-nights’ stay at the hotel, with a few areas that could be improved. The location is a major highlight—very convenient and easily accessible via the Taoyuan Airport MRT and situated just opposite Taipei Main Station. Getting around the city was effortless. The room itself was clean, bright and comfortable, which made for a relaxing stay. Service, however, was somewhat inconsistent. During check-in, a young male front desk staff was friendly and helpful, providing clear explanations and a warm welcome. That said, not all interactions were as positive. On one evening before 11pm, while we were waiting in the guest lounge for our laundry (facilities are available from 8am to 11pm), a female front desk staff member entered and switched off the TV rather abruptly. There was no greeting or prior reminder that the lounge was closing soon—no eye contact or acknowledgment—which came across as unwelcoming. We left shortly after to collect our laundry. To enhance the guest experience, I would suggest extending the operating hours of the self-service laundry facilities, as travelers may not always be able to return to the hotel early enough to complete their washing and drying before 11pm. Additionally, improving consistency in front desk service through further staff training—particularly in communication and guest interaction—would make a noticeable difference. Overall, the hotel offers great convenience and comfortable accommodation, but refining service consistency and amenities would elevate the experience further.

Ho soggiornato lì per 6 giorni e 5 notti in una camera tutta al femminile! Adoro quanto siano grandi i loro seminterrati, dove si può mangiare e lavorare in tutta tranquillità. Inoltre, non è così lontano da Ximending, ci vogliono circa 3 minuti a piedi! E c'è anche una stazione vicina, collegata alla stazione di Ximending. Se dovessi tornare a Taiwan, sceglierei sicuramente di nuovo questo hotel. Sicuro per le viaggiatrici sole ❤️ L'ho già consigliato alle mie amiche. Con affetto da PH 🇵🇭
