Hotel con colazione a Taipei

L'hotel gode di una posizione fantastica, proprio accanto alla stazione della metropolitana. La zona circostante sembra un quartiere commerciale, con numerosi ristoranti, minimarket 7-Eleven e negozi di bevande, il che lo rende estremamente comodo. La hall dell'hotel non è molto grande, con solo due posti a sedere alla reception. Sono presenti un deposito bagagli, una toilette e un impianto di aria condizionata efficiente. Il bagno in camera è uno spazio separato. La vasca da bagno è dotata di spugne e sali da bagno monouso (che non vengono riforniti dopo l'uso). Non vengono forniti articoli da bagno monouso. Sono disponibili bagnoschiuma, shampoo, balsamo, lozione per il corpo, pantofole e una saponetta. L'asciugacapelli ha una funzionalità nella media. Il minibar viene rifornito quotidianamente con snack, caffè e bustine di tè. Alcuni piani sono dotati di distributori automatici che vendono noodles istantanei, snack, souvenir, articoli da bagno, ecc. In camera è presente una bottiglia di vetro per riempire l'acqua frizzante o l'acqua potabile nel corridoio. Sono inoltre disponibili tappi per le orecchie. Il materasso è di media rigidità e sono disponibili due diversi tipi di cuscini. Le dotazioni della camera presentano qualche piccolo segno di usura, ma ciò non ne compromette l'utilizzo. La pulizia generale è accettabile. Non ci sono capelli o macchie sul letto, ma alcune aree potrebbero essere migliorate. Ho notato dei capelli quando ho preso il sacco della biancheria all'ingresso della camera. Il coperchio di un cestino era nascosto dietro il cestino stesso dal terzo al sesto giorno dopo il mio arrivo.

We enjoyed our stay at Doubletree Zhongshan. Location is super convenient. The MTR station is a 5 minute walk and there’s a lot of nice restaurants and shops within a 15-20 minute walking radius. There’s also a park and a fruit stand.

Nel complesso il soggiorno è stato fantastico! La camera è spaziosa e pulita. Anche la colazione era buona. La posizione è ottima, vicinissima alla stazione ferroviaria e al quartiere creativo di Hua Shan. La hall a tema Godzilla è davvero carina 😆. L'unico neo è che le pareti sono un po' sottili, perché a volte sentivo i rumori della stanza accanto, ma comunque sopportabile.

Lo stesso eccellente servizio e ospitalità della prima volta che sono stato qui alla fine degli anni '80, quando era ancora l'iconico Lai Lai Sheraton. Grazie per aver fatto uno sforzo in più per rendere memorabile il compleanno di mia moglie con gli accordi extra. Una menzione speciale va a Ellen e al team della reception per essersi presi cura di noi.

1. Misleading Entrance Signage Upon arrival, we followed the signage pasted on a pillar that directed guests to a staircase entrance. However, when we reached that entrance, we were shocked to find the door marked with the sign “来宾止步” (“Guests Stop Here”). When we raised this with your staff, we were told that this entrance has not been in use since the COVID-19 period. While we understand that certain operations may have changed during the pandemic, COVID-19 restrictions have ended for more than two years. If the primary entrance has been permanently closed, why has no corrective action been taken and the misleading signage still left there? Carrying heavy luggage up and down a sloped path unnecessarily was frustrating and avoidable. 2. No Staff Assistance or Clear Signage at the New Entrance When we finally located the new entrance, there were no staff members on standby to assist us, nor was there any clear external signage indicating that this was the correct way to access the lobby. The explanation given later was that all staff were away assisting with parking which is not acceptable. At least one person should have been assigned to remain at the entrance, or the last person leaving should have arranged for another colleague to cover the position. In addition, the Operations Director mentioned that there is signage inside the new entrance directing guests to take the elevator to the lobby. However, this logic is flawed. If guests cannot locate the correct entrance in the first place, how could they possibly see a sign placed inside? 3. Poorly Trained and Unprofessional Front Desk Behavior After struggling outside, we called the number listed on Google. Only then did someone finally come out and lead us in. By that time, we were exhausted and upset. When we confronted the front desk staff about why they ignored us, despite us clearly visible outside the “来宾止步” glass door, making eye contact and knocking for help, but they claimed they “did not see us.” This excuse was clearly untrue, as we observed them looking in our direction. Even more disappointing, none of the front desk staff offered an apology even until we requested to speak to the Operations Director and asked him to review the CCTV footage. After reviewing the footage, the Operations Director confirmed that the front desk had not been alert and apologized on their behalf. However, he did not acknowledge that the front desk’s attitude and lack of sincerity were also serious problems. Being “not alert enough” and showing no sense of apology or empathy are two entirely different issues. As an international hotel, the front desk is the first impression of your service. Regardless of the quality of your facilities, this poor experience completely overshadowed the positive aspects of our stay. It also severely damages the reputation of Kagaya Group — a brand that has long been admired for its exemplary Japanese hospitality and politeness. Although we appreciate the Operations Director’s effort to make amends by offering us a meal and gifts (which we declined), it remains undeniable that this incident reflects a failure in staff training and management oversight. We hope that management will seriously review this incident, especially the issues of: - Inadequate and misleading signage at the entrance - Lack of staff presence and assistance upon guest arrival - Poor front desk awareness and unprofessional behavior We trust that Kagaya Group will uphold its proud tradition of service by addressing these problems promptly and ensuring no other guests experience such treatment in the future. Ho avuto una grande esperienza e verrò certamente di nuovo qui. Il posto è molto pulito, amichevole personale, aree comuni per le persone a sedere e lavorare o mangiare. Molto consigliato. La posizione è vicina alla stazione MRT, alla stazione di Taipei Bus e nella zona centro della città, quindi coloro che sono a sonno leggero potrebbero avere bisogno di orecchini già forniti nella stanza.

Ho dimenticato di fare una foto della nostra camera, ma è al secondo piano e non ha finestre. All'inizio mi sono preoccupato per via di alcune recensioni sull'odore, ma non c'è nessun problema: il letto è pulito, niente odore di sigaretta, il bagno è buono, la doccia calda è aperta 24 ore su 24, asciugacapelli e bollitore elettrico in camera. Se siete al secondo piano, potete riempire la vostra bottiglia d'acqua vicino al bancone. La lounge al sesto piano (tecnicamente il quinto) è ok, c'è la lavatrice, il bagno con doccia, l'asciugacapelli, il ferro da stiro e un bancone self-service per il cibo. Ho persino conosciuto un nuovo amico nella lounge. Anche la colazione gratuita (al sesto piano) è abbastanza buona. È abbondante, ma spero che aggiungano varietà o almeno la cambino ogni due o tre giorni. Abbiamo soggiornato per 6 giorni e 5 notti. Potete anche lasciare i bagagli se arrivate prima dell'orario di check-in. È vicino all'uscita della stazione. Il personale parla anche inglese e giapponese. Mi piacerebbe tornarci.

Our stay at Green World Zhonghua was a mix of positives and disappointments. The biggest advantage of this hotel is its excellent location. It is right in the heart of Ximending, with the Ximending Shopping District just across the street. There is also a 7-Eleven right beside the hotel, which is very convenient. If you’re arriving by MRT, the hotel entrance is located beside Exit X5, and you can also easily access it from Exits X4 and 5. It is definitely one of the best locations for exploring Taipei. Unfortunately, our experience with the hotel itself was disappointing. Some of the staff were not very friendly and were extremely strict with the check-in policy. Check-in is exactly at 3:00 PM, and if you want to check in earlier, they charge TWD 300 per hour. We had just completed a 24-hour journey, arrived early in the morning with six pieces of luggage, and had to wait almost six hours. We completely understand that hotels have check-in policies, but considering how exhausted we were, a little flexibility or hospitality would have been appreciated. What made it even more frustrating was that when we finally entered our room, it wasn’t clean. We found stains on the pillowcase and the bathroom was not properly cleaned. (Photos attached.) This was unacceptable, especially after waiting so long. We booked a Standard Room for a seven-night stay, knowing it would be small, but we did not expect the air conditioning to stop working after only two days. Two maintenance staff attempted to repair it but were unable to fix the problem. We ended up using only a fan for the remainder of our stay. The hotel also had no water for one evening, which added to the inconvenience. When we raised our concerns about the cleanliness and the air conditioning, the response from the staff was disappointing. Instead of offering a proper solution, they simply suggested that we cancel our reservation and move to another hotel. With our luggage and after everything we had already gone through, that was not a realistic option. The breakfast was another letdown. The weekday menu was almost exactly the same every day, while weekends only had two or three different dishes. Considering the hotel’s location, I would actually recommend skipping the breakfast and eating outside instead. There are plenty of restaurants, cafés, and local food stalls nearby that offer much better food at reasonable prices. Overall, I would rate this hotel mainly for its outstanding location. If convenience is your top priority, it’s hard to beat. However, based on our experience with the cleanliness, staff attitude, unresolved air conditioning issue, water outage, and repetitive breakfast, I don’t think we would choose to stay here again.

E'molto pulito e il personale è molto amichevole.Il colazione non è molto lussuoso, ma c'e'qualcosa per il momento (pasta, caffè, salsa, frutta, salata ‥). La ragione per cui vivo qui ogni volta è che Zhongshan è piccolo, la stazione di diritti civili ２ West Road è a piedi. La zona commerciale di Xiaoguang vicino all'hotel, può andare a piedi per il palazzo di cammino, doppio mercato mattino, ecc.Ci sono molti negozi deliziosi intorno all'hotel. Questo è un posto molto conveniente, e il prezzo non è molto alto.
