Hotel con colazione a Taipei

I was on a biz trip so it’s a nice and clean 4-star hotel which is part of the Hilton group. They have a shower + separate bathtub and also a separate smart toilet with heated seats for privacy. However no blackout curtains so prepare for Taiwan’s 5am sunrise brightness. Although they don’t have a restaurant, they partner (using credit) with the Starbucks for us to have our breakfast there. They also provide a mini bar which is refreshed daily. There is a McD next door and family mart and 7-eleven nearby too. Plenty of local food nearby to try as well.

Eslite hotel.... what can I say? It was a fantastic stay at this hotel. Our family left and already wanted to come back to stay. The location is tops 5/5 if you are in to design and creative environment - being right next to the Songshan Cultural and Creative district and a 24hour Eslite Spectrum next door! What more can one ask for?!! It was a total treat to stay here for 2 nights and it isn't enough. A point to note - there is not hotel swimming pool but there is a 24h gym, though it is a simple set up. There could have been more free weights. We had a surprise, a complimentary room upgrade to a larger one so the photos are what we stayed in and not what we booked (double deluxe room). This room was super well-appointed. The little design details and the spaciousness was perfect for our family of 3. We felt so at home and comfortable that we lounged in the room so much instead of going out. Most notably, the hotel lobby is designed to feel like a living room / reading room with extensive book collection which you can request to borrow up to your room. Every Thursday and Saturday, there is a happy hour for guests and free flow of beverages (alcoholic and non) and finger snacks. We enjoyed this little treat very much! I highly recommend Eslite hotel. We will be back!

Everything is great, except breakfast little choice. I left my shower gel in room 1007. Please ask the hotel to keep it. I am coming back tomorrow night to get it. Thank yo

Grand hotel. Family friendly with connecting rooms. Staff are helpful...only a minor hiccup with housekeeping but after some nudges they fixed the issue professionally. Breakfast buffet is top notched.

Nel complesso il soggiorno è stato fantastico! La camera è spaziosa e pulita. Anche la colazione era buona. La posizione è ottima, vicinissima alla stazione ferroviaria e al quartiere creativo di Hua Shan. La hall a tema Godzilla è davvero carina 😆. L'unico neo è che le pareti sono un po' sottili, perché a volte sentivo i rumori della stanza accanto, ma comunque sopportabile.

1. Misleading Entrance Signage Upon arrival, we followed the signage pasted on a pillar that directed guests to a staircase entrance. However, when we reached that entrance, we were shocked to find the door marked with the sign “来宾止步” (“Guests Stop Here”). When we raised this with your staff, we were told that this entrance has not been in use since the COVID-19 period. While we understand that certain operations may have changed during the pandemic, COVID-19 restrictions have ended for more than two years. If the primary entrance has been permanently closed, why has no corrective action been taken and the misleading signage still left there? Carrying heavy luggage up and down a sloped path unnecessarily was frustrating and avoidable. 2. No Staff Assistance or Clear Signage at the New Entrance When we finally located the new entrance, there were no staff members on standby to assist us, nor was there any clear external signage indicating that this was the correct way to access the lobby. The explanation given later was that all staff were away assisting with parking which is not acceptable. At least one person should have been assigned to remain at the entrance, or the last person leaving should have arranged for another colleague to cover the position. In addition, the Operations Director mentioned that there is signage inside the new entrance directing guests to take the elevator to the lobby. However, this logic is flawed. If guests cannot locate the correct entrance in the first place, how could they possibly see a sign placed inside? 3. Poorly Trained and Unprofessional Front Desk Behavior After struggling outside, we called the number listed on Google. Only then did someone finally come out and lead us in. By that time, we were exhausted and upset. When we confronted the front desk staff about why they ignored us, despite us clearly visible outside the “来宾止步” glass door, making eye contact and knocking for help, but they claimed they “did not see us.” This excuse was clearly untrue, as we observed them looking in our direction. Even more disappointing, none of the front desk staff offered an apology even until we requested to speak to the Operations Director and asked him to review the CCTV footage. After reviewing the footage, the Operations Director confirmed that the front desk had not been alert and apologized on their behalf. However, he did not acknowledge that the front desk’s attitude and lack of sincerity were also serious problems. Being “not alert enough” and showing no sense of apology or empathy are two entirely different issues. As an international hotel, the front desk is the first impression of your service. Regardless of the quality of your facilities, this poor experience completely overshadowed the positive aspects of our stay. It also severely damages the reputation of Kagaya Group — a brand that has long been admired for its exemplary Japanese hospitality and politeness. Although we appreciate the Operations Director’s effort to make amends by offering us a meal and gifts (which we declined), it remains undeniable that this incident reflects a failure in staff training and management oversight. We hope that management will seriously review this incident, especially the issues of: - Inadequate and misleading signage at the entrance - Lack of staff presence and assistance upon guest arrival - Poor front desk awareness and unprofessional behavior We trust that Kagaya Group will uphold its proud tradition of service by addressing these problems promptly and ensuring no other guests experience such treatment in the future. La posizione era ottima, proprio nel cuore di Taipei, e la pulizia generale era eccellente! Ho potuto viaggiare comodamente anche durante la gravidanza. La piscina era piccola, ma confortevole, e la qualità dell'acqua sembrava essere mantenuta costante ogni ora. Era anche bello che non ci fosse l'odore chimico tipico delle piscine.

Generalmente buona posizione davanti a Y13, le letti sono bellissimi e ci è una bella cucina sulla parte superiore con colazione gratuita. Toileti all'interno della stanza.Ma con 1 doccia nella sala da cucina

Camera spaziale. Servizio buono. La maggior parte delle receptionist femminili sono amichevole e utile. Bfast è anche buono (buffet a caldo - senza carne, bolli di riso, bevande non li: caffè, succo, soda). Come leggeto in alcune recensioni, il suo tipo di difficile trovare la stanza assegnata, poiché ha un sacco di giri di strada. Con lobby grande/comfortabile, con tè freed e succo. 10 minuti a piedi andare al centro commerciale Ximending. ☺️

We had a wonderful stay at Green World Zhonghua and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Taipei. The hotel's location is excellent. It is directly opposite Ximending, making it easy to explore the shopping streets, restaurants, and local attractions on foot. There is also a 7-Eleven conveniently located downstairs, and the entrance to the MRT underground station is just outside the hotel, making it very convenient to travel around Taipei. The room was comfortable and met all our needs. What impressed us the most was the exceptional service from the hotel staff. Our flight was delayed until midnight, and they kindly helped us extend our room until late evening, which made a huge difference to our travel experience. Their willingness to accommodate our request and their friendly, helpful attitude were truly appreciated. Overall, we had a very pleasant and hassle-free stay. With its unbeatable location, convenient transportation access, and outstanding customer service, Green World Zhonghua is an excellent choice for anyone visiting Taipei. We would definitely stay here again on our next trip.
