We stayed at this hotel for our quarantine stay (3+4). This hotel was the highest priced quarantine hotel in Taipei. As Taiwan is moving away from quarantine, it is unclear whether this hotel will remain a quarantine hotel. Provided meals: Three meals were provided. I believe they rotated it somewhat. I would give them 4 stars overall. They were of mid-to-high end quality, but certainly not Michelin star or 5-star hotel restaurant's quality. That is, I had much better at The Regent or The Sheraton Taipei. That said, there was a microwave in the room for one to heat up the meals to a warmer setting as the meals were prepared in bulk at the lobby. They were lukewarm when the meals arrived in our room. It appeared some meals were prepared by the hotel restaurant and others were from outside sources. The meals were *********, Korean, and Japanese focused. If one wants Western foods, then Food Panda or Uber Eats will be what you want. There are expensive local restaurants at Xinyi Districts that you can pay for to get your own food. Check with the hotel on delivery times, I believe that they won't refund the costs of the meals if one chooses not to eat the prepaid meals. Prior to booking the quarantine hotel, they will send one a form to ask for some preferences and/or allergies. There was a toaster and hot water boiler in the room. The drip coffee and tea packets were super flavorful and refilled (via Line or other means of contact) during our stay. In fact, most contacts were done remotely during the quarantine period. Room: This is what one is paying for in this place if one is stuck here for 8 days (landing day is Day 0). The bed and beddings were super comfortable. The bed was a full king, My room was in the smaller side, but sufficient for two people and eight pieces of luggage. The room was super clean. We know, because we tried wiping some areas and found them to be stainless. We also noticed, via the peephole, that housekeeping took over two hours to deep clean our neighbor's room - including the use of what appeared to be an ultraviolet wand to clean some service areas. There was a clothes-wire in the bathroom if one needed to do handwash laundry during the quarantine stay. Unfortunately, the hotel didn't provide any detergent, but we used the provide soap, The bathroom was large with rain showerhead available. The toilet was a bit too high up off the floor for us as we are around 5 ft 8 inches but flushed well. If one's room faced south or east, one would get a good view of Taipei 101. The south side would get a full view, and east side (our room) got the view from the couch in the ”living room” area. The TV was pretty large and we could watch it from our bed comfortably. The only complaint, if any, was that it didn't have as many international channels for this high-end hotel. I wanted Bloomberg, but nothing was offered. Not even CNBC. The WiFi was very fast. Hotel is beautifully designed with spacious room, it is around 5 mins walk to train station, free parking is provided for in house guest too. All hotel staff are very professional and helpful, from reservation, bell, concierge, front office, housekeeping, pool & spa, restaurant. We have buffet breakfast at cafe and there is a variety of choice in nice presentation to start our good morning. We will definitely return to this hotel and will highly recommend our friends to stay!

1) sulphur springs smell like sulfur 2) it’s musty in part of it (it’s a hot springs hotel) 3) it’s in an area with a lot of hot springs 4) it’s 20 minute walk from city center 5) breakfast buffet kinda sucks 6) the private sulfur bath tubs when using the sulfur option is really sulfur but you can dilute it with normal water 7) it has public sulfur hot springs at the facility 8) rooms can be cute but sulfur bath smells like sulfur 9) if you are going to be there for one day : I recommend coming early . We arrived at night and really didn’t get to enjoy the city or facilities as much as we should have. 10) if you want to experience hot springs there are also public options without getting a hotel room at one of these resorts 11) probably check out the beitou museum up the street for their set meal cuz it’s cute. 12) I wish I had dipped in the sulfur baths more : it really smoothes the skin . I didn’t because I came in the evening

Dear Doubletree by Hilton Taipei, I would like to offer my compliments to your dedicated team for our very enjoyable stay in your hotel from 3-7 June 2024. We stayed in rooms 1203 and 1205 and the reservation was made under Ms Erica Tan. I had stayed in some 5 star hotels such as Shang Ri La Singapore, Westin Singapore, Ritz Carlton Singapore, Kempinski Xiamen to name a few but my stay in Doubletree by Hilton Taipei was one of the most comfortable and pleasant. The check in by the warm and friendly reception staff was efficient and smooth. When my daughter accidentally dropped one of the delicious welcome Hilton cookies on the floor, the reception staff quickly replaced it with a warm smile. When my daughter teared after knowing that there isn’t a swimming pool in the premise, your reception staff, Tina, immediately walked up to us with a map and suggested that we can go to a nearby swimming pool facilities. Tina also gave us some excellent food suggestions. We had a very satisfying and affordable meal at the Michelin recommended Ji Jia Zhuan ( 鸡家庄）, thanks to her recommendation :) Whenever we return to the hotel from a day of sightseeing, the reception team on duty never failed to greet us in a warm and friendly manner. We felt genuinely welcomed:) The modern Japandi style rooms and bathrooms are kept in an excellent condition and feel brand new. We especially like how bright, airy and spacious the rooms are. Kudos to the housekeepers ( Ms Cai Xiu Hui 蔡秀慧阿姨) on level 12 who kept our rooms 1203 and 1205 so clean and comfortable. They always chat amicably with us and confirmed with us if we need any housekeeping service. The TV entertainment system with its 47 channels ( including TLC, Discovery) , Netflix, YouTube and IQiYi really impressed us. The semi buffet style daily breakfast sets ( Chinese, Japanese and Western) are healthy and delish and we really looked forward to breakfast every morning. We hope that Chinese baos （包子）and dim sum pastry such as you tiao ( 油条、蛋饼）can also be offered in future when we next pay a visit to your hotel :) We would also like to thank your reception staff and housekeepers who helped my mom who stayed in room 1205 on 6 June when the toilet encountered some flushing issues. My mom had approached the reception staff at around 4 pm on 6 June and the very helpful male reception staff accompanied her to her room and helped remediate the problem along with the housekeeper. She was very impressed by how efficient and friendly your staff were. All in all, your team has done a great job in our stay. Their service attitude are genuine and warm :) My daughter enjoyed her stay so much that she kept remarking she would like to extend our stay to 2 more weeks:) We hope you will pass on the compliments to your team and the staff we named, as a gesture of our appreciation.

Amore la posizione strategica dell'hotel - proprio davanti a una piccola luce di traffico dalla partenza 6 del tempio di Shandao (meno di 5 minuti a piedi dalla metropolitana) e un'ospedale dopo la stazione principale di Taipei. E' facile arrivare da qui a altre parti di Taipei. Una serie di colazione intorno al quartiere, anche il Michelin Guide Fu Hang Soy Milk è direttamente dall'hotel. Decidendo su questo hotel relativamente nuovo, come ho capito l'hotel intorno alla stazione principale di Taipei sono in gran parte vecchi e in calo. Le camere sono pulite e relativamente grandi. Tutti gli ospiti possono utilizzare liberamente la loro sala da 9 a 10 per avere caffè, tè, succo e snacks leggeri. Abbiamo prenotato la notte attraverso il loro sito web come membro del Club Amazing e abbiamo ricevuto un'ora felice gratuita con un bicchiere di alcol, piatto di frutta e una grande tazza di gioielli dolci. Ogni personale è gentile e utile. Dato solo 3 (invece di 5) per le strutture, sarà grande se forniscono un palestra e un distributore d'acqua in ogni piano. The hotel is nice enough to keep the luggage before check in. Quite clean and good location. The bathroom wall tiles cracked which is not good impression. Found some bugs on the wall and ceiling.
