The bed was really comfortable. Everything was good. Staff was vey nice and helpful. However there was one thing that disappointed me so much, the elevator was not working. I choosed this hostel because I have a huge and heavy luggage and the hostel's detail show that there is an elevator in the hostel but when I arrived the staff told me that it's broken and under repair around 1 month already. I felt like I was scammed by the advertisement but luckily the receptionist come and help me carry my luggage. Anyway, please update this information to customer if I was informed about it in advance I might not be this disappointed.

Very busy and vibrant hostel with a bar attached. The bed was comfy but the room was lacking furniture - there was a chair but no proper table. Shared washrooms were well kept by everyone. A little distance from the main shopping area but near to sky tower (where you can get a chartered bus from the airport). Don't bother to do pre check-in online - they asked for a card for deposit / incidentals, and the card got charged for the rooms even though I have paid trip.com. Although the staff was prompt to do refunds, but lost like $20 on unnecessary fx rates and credit card fees. You will need to give your details onsite anyways, so save the time on something else. It would be better if the staff were more welcoming, but I guess it is tough with so many guests to handle every minute.

Il posto è molto buono. La porta si gira a destra alla stazione di autobus. Percorra meno di un minuto. Ci sono diversi autobus di rotta per la stazione di treni urbani densamente. La stanza è pulita, ci sono letti intorno al letto, e la riservatezza migliora lo spazio privato personale. Ci sono cucina convenienti per la cucina personale e tre pranzi convenienti per la cucina e la cucina. Il servizio di accoglienza di Liu Tai è gentile e ha domande e risposte.

E'molto lontano dal CBD. L'ingresso è scala, quindi se hai una grande valigia, sarebbe molto inconveniente.Un cassaforte con un cappuccio di sicurezza da solo è molto utile.Inoltre, posso usare la cucina per 24 ore è molto utile.Ho soggiornato tre bagagli, che è il migliore.

Un ottimo ostello situato in una posizione strategica. Parcheggio disponibile per un costo aggiuntivo e hanno tutto disponibile per un bagno. Buon per un lungo soggiorno. Nei pressi e puliti bagni, zona da pranzo, avete tutto quello che vi serve.

The location is perfect, located in the heart of the city centre, 1 mins walk to the nearest countdown/woolworth. You can find anything you need in the area, you name it, you will find it. It is best for traveller first leg in New Zealand. There is a big common area, You get to meet a lot of backpackers which you can exchange information. Highly recommended. The only short is that the water in the shower is too low, it is like spraying water on you.

We had a delay in our flight and arrived in unmanned hours unfortunately our internet wasn’t working and didn’t have the email with the lock box instructions. James the receptionist was leaving and saw us. He was very kind and helpful staying to help even though his shift had finished. The hostel needs some updating and a lock of paint but overall pretty good, comfy bed, hot shower. Can’t complain. I did miss the bit about taking sheets off and leaving them downstairs after dropping my key in the drop box - sorry.

I stayed one night in Hobson Lodge in a female room. As soon as I arrived in the area I wasn't feeling very comfortable however the lady at the reception was very nice and generally the people at the hostel seemed quite chill. The kitchen/common area isn't the biggest or cleanest. The room are okish as long as it is not full otherwise I understand why reviews were mentioning about the lack of air.

It faced the park, so it was quiet and nice. The shared kitchen was spacious and had a microwave, cooking utensils, and tableware. I also felt that the shared bathroom was well-used. It's a little far from the city center, but there's a supermarket nearby and a bus stop nearby, so it wasn't that inconvenient. I'd like to stay here again if I come to Auckland.
