AArynna_inaSempre una buona esperienza di rimanere qui. Veramente spazio pieno e pulito. Il letto così comodo e la camera così buona e fredda. Perfetto per le vacanze alberghiere di fine settimana. Guardando in attesa di tornare la prossima settimana. Spero di avere la stessa stanza di nuovo. Parcheggio abbastanza pieno di domenica.Ma fortunatamente sto uscendo domenica. Tutto è buono 😊👍

UUtente ospiteI visited the hotel with my parents, my wife and my daughter. We stayed for four nights, checking in on 3rd May and checked out on the 7th.
This is actually my second time visiting this hotel, the first time being 30 years ago, again with my parents. I had great memories as a kid so I was looking forward to this trip.
The First night was great, had dinner at Coco Joe's and rested after a long trip.
The Second day was fantastic, breakfast and dinner and Cafe Tutu, met a lovely dining lady named Rohana. During the day, we enjoyed the great activities of the Leisure Center. Friendly staff from there made the experience children friendly. And the icing of the dessert - the sunset parade, Jamie loves it. Housekeeping did a surprise heartwarming job, covering the lion doll of my daughter with a little towel on the pillow, very cute and thoughtful move.
The Third Day we went out to town so didn't stay much time in the hotel.
The Fourth Day, was quite disappointing to be honest. Housekeeping did not arrive in the morning when we were out playing at the pool. I understand as there are many rooms to take care of. We went back to the room to rest between 2-4pm, switch on the ”Do not disturb” button, and somehow housekeeping team arrived so they put a card to say they could not clean as we put up the do not disturb button. Fair enough, but again, there was five hours in the morning which they could clean the room.
Leaving the room again at 4pm for activities, I called service center for housekeeping, switched off the ”Do not disturb” button and went out. We returned at 7:45pm, still there was no housekeeping. Frustrated, I called the service center again requesting for housekeeping, they replied they will check and follow up with housekeeping. Half an hour later, still no one turned up. Extremely irritated, I called service center for housekeeping again. This time, housekeeping finally arrived but our whole family were waiting for clean towels to have shower.
VERY disappointing with the effecitivness of housekeeping and service center on this incident.
On that very same day, I discovered a big crockcroach in the toilet, so I do have a big quetion mark on the housekeeping of this hotel.
The day was worsen when we had dinner at Coco Joe's, where we wait for nearly an hour (from 6pm to 6:53pm) before we get all our food served. I did complain it to the manager when he came by, which he did apologise and waived our dining fee. Despite my disgrunt towards the long waiting time of the dishes, I would like to give credit on the manager (I think his name is Mr Kan?) in terms of how he managed the complaint.
Overall, the experience is mixed. With friendly staff at leisure center + Cafe Tutu, good food but unreasonably long waiting time at Coco Joe's, and disappointing housekeeping after the heartwarming performance on the second day. The hardware of the hotel is great (view, pool design, restaurant seating) but our experience was mainly affected by the staff. On this ocassions, I would like to give commendation to the following staff: Rohana, Majid (both from Cafe Tutu), all staff from Leisure Centre (especially the two ladies and two gentleman hosting water polo and volleyball respectively), and Kan from Coco Joe's on complaint management.
Please keep up on the good work you already have, and work hard on things that requires improvement:)

UUtente ospiteL'ambiente non è bello come mi aspettavo. Ho sentito che le camere a Saliya Shangri-La non sono molto vecchie e l'ambiente è molto bello, quindi ho scelto questo posto. Ma la stanza vera e propria è molto vecchia e non c'è la doccia, solo una vasca da bagno con una tenda da doccia! Sentirsi male. Inoltre, non so se la camera in cui abbiamo alloggiato fosse una parte separata della suite e l'isolamento acustico era pessimo. Ci sono molte attività e piccole attrazioni nell'hotel scritte nel pacchetto. La cosiddetta cascata è davvero molto piccola. Sono sorpreso che possa essere chiamata cascata. Lo scenario non è poi così bello. Ovviamente non abbiamo partecipato al percorso escursionistico, quindi non sappiamo come.
Anche la spiaggia privata non ci è sembrata così bella. Forse non abbiamo remato e non sapevamo che ci fossero delle belle isole nelle vicinanze. Il tramonto era ok, ma era più breve e non bello come quelli visti allo Sky Mirror e al Tanjong Shangri-La.
Nel ristorante dell'hotel non c'è niente di delizioso, non c'è molta scelta e il sapore non è buono. Il prezzo non è davvero economico.
Alla fine, la gestione del personale di questo hotel è stata davvero pessima. Ho incontrato un impiegato della portineria con scarsa integrità. Ha promesso di prendere i soldi che abbiamo restituito e di aiutarci a richiedere un rimborso, ma non lo ha fatto. Anche la comunicazione via e-mail con l'hotel non è stata fluida. Alla fine, ho presentato un reclamo alla sede centrale e ho chiesto il monitoraggio e la questione è stata risolta.
Altamente sconsigliato.

KKhairahJI have had the most wonderful stay here. seamless check-in, they upgarded my room to sea view, the staffs were really friendly and accommodating. There were some system upgraded with their tv, however, it gone back to normal in 15 minutes! I feel loved and well taken care of by the staff. the breakfast spread was top notch and meets my standard. My husbands opted for the valet parking and he was so happy! also, I travel with my 3yo son, and they gave free toiletries 🤩. I was so happy and wilould definitely come back and would recommend others to stay here! xx

Aaple zapsFirst off, I booked the One Bedroom KING but I stayed in the One Bedroom QUEEN instead, without being informed. I didn't realise this until I checked out and look at the pictures again.
Still, the room is a suite type, complete with a kitchen (with a full-sized fridge and a microwave), a living room, a bedroom and the bathroom, overlooking the swimming pool.
One major complaint I read from the reviews is the lack of breakfast choice and that is true, considering it's a 4-star hotel. But it aims to be sustainable so it's understandable that the food choice is limited. They're delicious, though.
Hotel has no room service but you can easily order food delivery from surrounding restaurants.
I wanted to give full stars because I enjoyed my stay but looking back at the pictures, I feel lied on about my room type 💔 uploaded a picture of the bathroom I stayed in; it has no bathtub as it claims to have in KING rooms.

La stanza è confortevole, ma hanno dimenticato di riempire il gel da doccia e il tè da caffè nella stanza.
Il colazione non è così fantastico nonostante la vasta selezione, sia troppo salato o troppo dolce.

LLea J.First, all the check in counters were open but still the check in queue was long. I was queued for almost 1 hour just to check in. Need to better system in check-in.
Second, hotel policies stated no outside food. If guest order food outside, food rider only able to delivered until guardhouse and guest need to walk out and take the food themselves. To minimize the hassle, we opt for in-room dining for our 2 nights stay. First night was good. Second night some of the menu are OOS such as pizza and even mushroom soup.
Third, another incident on our 2nd night, fire alarm was rang on 12+am. Lift was unable to use as well and fire symbol was shown on the lift panel. Guests started panicked and going down using stairs. Me and my family (along with my 7months pregnant sister) decided to go down to lobby using stairs, since there are no staff was seen to inform us what has happened. Once we reached lobby, only there is a staff informed is a false alarm. For this kind of situation, staff should be act faster since its related with safety.
Other than that, we've enjoyed the view from our room, the facilities that are offered. We're enjoyed the pizza on our first night, thats why we want to repeat on 2nd night and too bad its not available. Sutera Harbour is one of the well known resort in Kota Kinabalu, a place to catch good sunset view, and I hope they're able to improve their services and better safety/security.

Al mattino, ci saranno persone sulla spiaggia che useranno le spazzatrici per pulire eventuali cose irritanti dai piedi per mantenere morbida la sabbia in superficie. Vedrete anche persone che spruzzano spray antizanzare e spazzano le foglie sulla strada. La sera ho visto alcune scimmie che bazzicavano tra gli alberi fuori dal ristorante e alcuni camerieri le scacciavano. Anche se ho chiamato più volte la reception e nessuno ha risposto, avrei richiamato più tardi per scusarmi e chiedere informazioni sulla situazione. Se non è possibile collegare il telefono fisso, è possibile utilizzare il cellulare per chiamare la reception per trovare qualcuno che ripari il telefono. Il numero di telefono lasciato su Ctrip è sbagliato. Dovrebbe essere questo +60189391100
Camera: Se le condizioni economiche lo consentono, si consiglia di prenotare una tipologia di camera più cara. Il balcone può affacciarsi sul mare. I numeri delle camere che iniziano con la numero 8 sono più alti. Lo svantaggio è che è un po' lontana dalla spiaggia e ristoranti. Le stanze che iniziano con il numero 7 sono più vicine. I servizi della camera sono davvero un po' vecchi, le luci sono soffuse e non c'è disinfettante per le mani o sapone. Il telecomando del condizionatore è accanto al comodino, che è relativamente nascosto. Se una famiglia ritiene che dormire nello stesso letto sia troppo affollato, il maggiordomo ai piedi del letto può chiedere alla governante di venire a rifare il divano letto e vi aiuterà a stendere le lenzuola, i cuscini e le trapunte sul divano. Mio marito dorme sul divano, lasciando il letto grande per me e mia figlia, quindi non sembra affollato.
Ci sono 4 ristoranti principali:
1.Feast Village, fai colazione qui, è piuttosto ricca, i piatti sono leggermente diversi ogni giorno. Il pranzo è à la carte. Anche se il prezzo è un po' alto, le porzioni sono abbondanti. Potete anche chiamare la reception per spostarvi al ristorante o venire qui per chiamare il servizio in camera e il pasto può essere consegnato in camera. Verrà consegnato tra circa mezz'ora o un'ora. Ho un gusto più leggero, quindi i WatTanHor (spaghetti di riso all'uovo lisci) e le Farfalle Ai Fungshi (spaghetti alle farfalle con salsa bianca) nel menu sono più deliziosi. Anche le porzioni di dessert sono grandi. Nel ristorante ci sarà un cameriere che parla cinese, quindi la comunicazione non sarà un problema. La cena è a buffet oppure è possibile ordinare à la carte. Il buffet non ha molte varietà, ma può saziarvi. La cosa migliore sono i cracker ai gamberetti.
2. Fisherman Cove non accetta bambini sotto i 12 anni e gli adulti devono indossare abiti formali, quindi non l'abbiamo provato.
3. Omakase, ci sono Teppanyaki e Sukiyaki Il prezzo è calcolato a persona, più di 300 yuan a persona. Abbiamo provato il Sukiyaki, che non ne valeva davvero la pena. La porzione è molto piccola, un gambero, cozze, funghi enoki. e funghi neri a persona. In inverno, si stima che valgano più di 100 yuan in Cina, e molte volte i camerieri non sanno dove sono, quindi devono cercarli prima di venire qui. non li consiglio.
4. Tavajun Bay è un bar vicino alla spiaggia. Durante l'happy hour, le bevande sulla piccola lavagna all'ingresso sono paghi uno, prendi uno gratis, e per pranzo ci sono hamburger, pizza, ecc.
SPA: è altamente raccomandato, è super confortevole, è consigliato per 80 minuti e costa circa 600 yuan. Ti verrà chiesto se l'intensità è adeguata. Dopo il massaggio, è super rilassante.
Di tanto in tanto incontreremo delle scimmie sull'isola. Si stima che qualcuno stia dando loro da mangiare sul balcone, quindi abbiamo visto anche 4-5 scimmie riunite intorno al balcone, ma non verremo a provocare le persone a meno che non le guardiamo. . Quando la marea si abbassa, ci saranno alcuni piccoli granchi di sabbia sulla spiaggia. L'acqua è relativamente limpida, ma i coralli nel mare sono tutti gonfi e i pesci sono per lo più bianchi e neri l'hotel sta lavorando duramente per mantenere l'ecologia originale e rimanere in uno stato di stordimento sull'isola, ancora abbastanza bene~
