£200 for a basic room for one night was a bit on the pricey side for me, however it was nice all the same. A few of the photos of the basic room are misleading. The photos show a four post double bed which is not the case. We found out later this is actually an executive room despite it being labeled basic. We found out that the hotel location is accessible by bus from Oxenholme train station (despite being told the opposite) and has a great view of beautiful fields. Food in the hotel is good but expensive... My eyes nearly popped out their sockets when I saw the £8.00 charge just for the tiniest amount of table bread. I'd say this was probably the reason the restaurant was empty despite being told we need to book a table due to its popularity. Swimming pool and steam room are average for the price. Staff are friendly and changed our room to a double bed room free of charge after mistakenly putting us in a twin bedroom.

Il luogo era fantastico e si trovava in un posto grande, molto vicino a molte strutture come bar e ristoranti, più alcuni negozi. Il personale era così amabile e gentile, ci faceva sentire come se fossimo a casa, la nostra stanza era grande e aveva una vista magnifica sui giardini. La colazione era eccellente e molto buona. In futuro rimarremo certamente qui di nuovo.

Molto piacevole, anche se il piccolo timone è completamente sporco in una stazione conveniente vicino alla stazione. Ogni mattina è ricco e dopo colazione dovremo chiederci dove andiamo oggi?Sai come andare?Il loro servizio è super entusiasta.

This was the second time my husband and I stayed at this luxurious new resort style hotel in/near Windermere. It was part of a longer trip, and again we stayed in the posh Winander Suites keyed access building. Breakfast is great as you get to eat from both the breakfast buffet, and also order hot food from the menu. The staff here are always 10 out of 10 excellent for both in the spa and the hotel itself. A couple of them even remembered us from the year prior! It's great having so many dining and drinking options on site... one never really needs to leave. I really enjoy the keyed access for the Winander and additional for the room hallways. There is parking on site and a guard at the gate. I know we will continue to visit here for many years to come!

Quando arrivai, non c'era nessuno al divano, quindi mi aspettai. La donna che ero un po' ingrassata era lontana da piacere e non sembrava voler essere li'. Non c’era niente spiegato e non c’era un foglio informativo per me per leggerlo nel mio tempo. Quando ho dato la chiave della mia stanza, ho iniziato a camminare attraverso il lobby, ma non ho visto alcun segno per il numero della mia stanza. Tornato al dipartimento per chiedere dove andare per la mia stanza e fu detto “solo seguiamola”. Molto insopportabile e inconveniente, non sicuramente questa signora dovrebbe essere davanti all'hotel. Inoltre, la stanza era bella e ben tenuta/pulita. Ero anche lato del lago, così ho dovuto guardare il sollevamento del sole con la mia coppa mattina. Molto raffreddante vista.

Rimasi qui diverse volte, anche qualche volta quando avevano appena aperto dopo ciascuna delle chiappe Covid e sempre goduto, aveva un bimbo benvenuto e le camere sono pulite. Non dire che è perfetto per tutti, perché alcuni di voi non saranno un fan dell'oro e della decorazione rossa nelle camere, nella ricezione e nei corridoi, ma non è un'afflizione della vecchia moda. I bagni sono maturi e il bar e il ristorante hanno un ascensore facciale con un colore non ultra maturi di crema e blu, ma si adatta allo stile edilizio. Non aspettare spa, palestra o piscina e non aspettare servizio in camera o cocktail. Ma avrete sempre un caldo e amichevole benvenuto e servizio. Il posto è fuori dal battito e dalla pista, ma vale la pena trovare questa gemma, al lato delle foreste, con il fiume che corre sopra l'acquafalla e la roccia, e tenere gli occhi pellicciati per i tori rossi. Il cibo è buono al colazione, anche se non ci sono salsicce di vegetazione che alcuni si lamentano, il cibo è buono in serata, anche se una scelta limitata di 4 avviatori 4 mani e 4 pudi, compresa una scelta di vegetazione. I prezzi dei bar sono più elevati di quelli dei pub, ma non così male per un hotel.

Stayed in one of the 4 garden cabins. Each are angled in such a way that they are all private. Each has its own hot tub and log burner. The cabin was cosy at night and well maintained. The cabin has WiFi, a tv, tea/coffee station, sofa and ensuite. Towels are provided for the bathroom plus separate towels, a robe and slippers for the hot tub. Breakfast was buffet but included hot self-service english breakfast items. I have to give credit to the person on reception when I checked in who greeted me with a smile and was friendly and helpful. I'll definitely be back.

This is the best place to stay in UK for a price. I ll be coming back regularly. Great room with bath for relaxing day. Gym, even table tennis. Rooms are clean and beds very comfortable. Receptionists are very lovely .
