Hotel a 4 stelle in Penang, Malesia

Bella posizione sulla spiaggia. L'hotel era come descritto, l'ho visitato all'inizio della bassa stagione con pochissimi ospiti in hotel, la piscina chiudeva alle 18:30 tutti i giorni, solo 4 stazioni TV locali in TV, il Wi-Fi funzionava bene ma il servizio era disponibile solo nella nostra camera, un famoso bar sulla spiaggia è annesso all'hotel con un fantastico spettacolo di fuoco (provate il fish and chips), la colazione a buffet era un buon rapporto qualità-prezzo se prenotata insieme alla camera, abbiamo scoperto che andare presto (08:00) era il momento migliore per andare al buffet,

L'hotel è in un'ottima posizione e si possono raggiungere a piedi le attrazioni vicine al centro storico. L'unica cosa che non mi ha soddisfatto è stato il rumore delle pulizie ogni mattina prima delle 6:00, i primi due giorni. Non sapevo se fosse il rumore proveniente dalla porta accanto o dalla stanza al piano di sopra. Il mio sonno ristoratore mattutino è stato bruscamente disturbato. La terza mattina sono andato alla reception per chiedere un cambio di camera, ma il cameriere mi ha detto di aspettare un attimo. Di conseguenza, sono andato dalla ragazza alla reception tre volte prima di ricevere la tessera della camera verso le 15:00. Inizialmente, la reception mi ha detto che dovevo tornare in camera a preparare le mie cose e che la nuova tessera sarebbe stata consegnata in camera entro dieci minuti. Ma dopo aver aspettato più di dieci minuti, nessuno me l'ha consegnata. Di conseguenza, sono corso alla reception per chiederla al cameriere. Dopo essermi rigirato per diverse volte, ero di cattivo umore. Per fortuna, dopo aver cambiato camera, ho finalmente dormito bene.

La stanza è abbastanza grande e le strutture sono OK e non molto vecchie. Il motivo principale è che la posizione è buona. C'è una strada per gli snack e un mercato notturno proprio fuori dalla porta. Puoi sempre mangiare qualcosa quando non lo fai voglio uscire. C'è un museo statale e un tempio indiano vicino alla strada degli snack. Puoi prelevare contanti dalla banca e ci vogliono solo 5 minuti per raggiungere Everbright

La posizione dell'hotel è molto buona, dal momento che è vicino a tutte le attrazioni, ma il traffico è insopportabile. Surprensibile, non c'era nessun rumore di veicolo durante la notte, anche se l'hotel è situato proprio accanto a una strada impegnata. L'hotel è molto igienico, serve buon colazione e il personale è molto amichevole e utile.L'unico posto in basso è stato uno dei condotto dell'aria nella nostra stanza non funzionava. Se la trasmette al dipartimento frontale la mattina dopo, si assicura che la risolverà e, se non risolto, sarà fornita una nuova stanza. Tuttavia, quando siamo tornati durante la notte, non abbiamo risolto la questione, perché dobbiamo andare a controllare il giorno successivo.

Camera di buone dimensioni con vista meravigliosa, si vedono sia le montagne che il mare. Gli edifici nelle vicinanze sono molto bassi, quindi si può vedere a chilometri di distanza. Personale professionale, soprattutto alla reception. Hanno un sorriso genuino e sono pronti ad aiutare. Direi che sono più proattivi di quegli hotel a cinque stelle in cui ho soggiornato a Penang e Langkwawi durante questo viaggio. Tuttavia, vorrei davvero che il personale del concierge (di turno di notte) fosse più cauto e attento nella gestione delle spedizioni, compresi i pacchi consegnati in hotel. Avrebbero potuto controllare l'identità di chi ritira il pacco invece di non convalidarlo e permettere a chiunque di andare allo sportello per ritirarlo da solo. The staff were friendly, polite, and generally helpful throughout our stay. The location is also a strong point, with plenty of restaurants and shopping malls nearby, and the Clan Jetties are within walking distance. Unfortunately, the check-in experience left much to be desired. Before arriving, I had emailed the hotel to enquire about an early check-in as we were travelling with elderly family members. I fully understood that this might not be possible due to the peak holiday season, which was perfectly reasonable. Upon arriving around 11am, we were advised to return after 1pm. We came back shortly after 2pm but were informed that our rooms were still not ready. We were prepared to wait until the official check-in time of 3pm, but even then, the rooms were unavailable. We were repeatedly told ”10 more minutes”, only for those 10 minutes to become 30 minutes and then even longer. In the end, we did not receive our rooms until approximately 3:40pm. What made the situation particularly frustrating was seeing guests who arrived after us being checked in ahead of us. The explanation given was that a supervisor needed to inspect the rooms before they could be released. While delays can happen, clearer communication and realistic timelines would have been far more appreciated than being repeatedly asked to wait another 10 minutes. To make matters worse, one of our rooms had pillows and blankets with an unpleasant odour, which raised questions about the room readiness that had caused such a lengthy delay. For guests driving, parking may be challenging as there are only a limited number of parallel parking spaces available. Even for those arriving by taxi or private hire, the drop-off and pick-up process can be somewhat inconvenient. There is also a Heritage Fee payable upon check-in, which was acceptable and clearly communicated. Complimentary coffee and biscuits are available, and water dispensers are conveniently located near the lifts, although bottled water is not provided in the rooms. The check-out process was also slightly unusual, as guests are required to wait for staff confirmation before leaving. Overall, the stay was comfortable and the location was convenient. However, I value hotels that provide a smooth and efficient check-in experience. Delays are understandable, especially during busy periods, but guests deserve honest communication and accurate updates rather than repeated promises of ”10 more minutes.” With better management of the arrival experience, this would have been a much more enjoyable stay.

Mi sono davvero divertito a stare qui a M Social. La stanza è spaziosa e pulita con balcone. La TV è molto grande. La spiaggia privata è molto bella e bello, la piscina è buona, molto piccola per me, ma ha un'esibizione di banda in diretta lì venerdì sera, che è una buona attività da fare. La colazione è buona con molte varietà.Amo la zuppa di noodle. Il personale è professionale, ma un po' migliore è che alcuni di loro possono essere più amichevoli e sorrire quando sono con gli ospiti. C'è un cortile al cibo all'altra parte dell'hotel a prezzo economico. Più opzioni per il cibo. Inoltre, niente di molto intorno. Raccomanda con forza questo hotel!

Capri by Fraser Penang is a very new hotel. I understand it has only been operating for about two months. Since it’s new, the hotel is in excellent condition—everything is modern, very clean, and well maintained. The front desk staff and hotel team are also friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout my stay. There are, however, a few areas that could be improved. 1. Automated car parking system The hotel does not have conventional parking on each floor. Instead, it uses an automated stacking parking system where you drive your car into a vehicle lift, and the system parks the car automatically. While this is an interesting concept, there are only two vehicle lifts. Every time you return to the hotel or want to leave, you need to wait for the lift to park or retrieve your car. This can be time-consuming, especially during busy periods. In addition, the entrance to the vehicle lift is quite narrow, making it less suitable for larger vehicles and requiring extra care when driving in. 2. Drinking water dispenser Each guest floor has a drinking water dispenser, which is a thoughtful feature. However, the dispenser is installed on a countertop without a sink or drainage. Any spilled water remains on the surface, making the area look untidy. Over time, this may become a maintenance issue and detract from the hotel’s otherwise modern appearance. 3. Soap and lotion dispensers The in-room soap, body wash, and lotion dispensers need some improvement. During my stay, they frequently jammed and did not dispense smoothly, making them inconvenient to use. 4. Sound insulation The soundproofing could also be better. My initial room was close to the lifts, and I could clearly hear guests walking by and using the lifts. After requesting a room farther away from the lift lobby, the noise issue was largely resolved. If possible, I would recommend requesting a room away from the lifts. Overall Overall, I had a pleasant stay. The hotel is new, clean, and the staff provide excellent service. Most of the issues I experienced are relatively minor and can likely be addressed as the hotel settles into its operations. With improvements to the parking process, water dispenser design, bathroom dispensers, and sound insulation, Capri by Fraser Penang would offer an even better guest experience.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5/5 Had a wonderful stay here. The hotel has such a cozy and calming vibe, with a beautiful and aesthetically pleasing interior. The room was spacious, incredibly clean, and well-maintained. I especially loved the bed and pillows—so comfortable that I had a great night's sleep. Excellent service from the staff too. A solid 10/10
