Hotel a 4 stelle in Hokkaidō, Giappone

About 10-15mins driving distance from the city center. Parking is located next to it (around 2mins walking distance) where u have to walk through an alley to hotel main door. Perhaps they can install a street light in the alley way or a back door near to parking lots coz it is quite dark and scary to walk alone. Breakfast is lack of variety but acceptable. Other than these, overall is satisfied.

Room is spacious and for the price was a great deal (although noted I was visiting during shoulder season). Beautiful views of the mountain range from the hotel’s lounge on a clear day. I enjoyed the afternoon wine tastings. The muscat grape juice was also delicious! A very nice and relaxing stay at this hotel. It is quite far from the station though, so best to have a car to get to the hotel and get around.

房間超大，有室內浸浴，景觀一流，設施齊備，若住Executive Suit,可以免費享用lounge 內小食和飲品，酒也是無限飲用。自助餐食物美味，款式多。娛樂設施有驚喜，有乒乓球打，有夾公仔機，可以打機，是迷利版的Gigo。商店購物種類多，有好小朋友玩具賣。露天風呂看到雪山景，體驗到一邊浸温泉，一邊大風雪吹在面上。就算不是露天，室內的風呂也有好美的雪山景觀看。有穿梭巴士送到札幌，非常好。雖然房價不便宜，但物有所值。

L'hotel è situato alla fine di Tanukoji, quindi è a distanza dalla zona principale, anche se ancora passeggiabile. Nota che il bagno non ha spazio per mettere i vestiti secchi e dovrai portarli fuori, a meno che non ti dispiace che il fondo dei pantaloni si bagni. Non molto conveniente per i gruppi di genere misti, anche se ci è un cieco che si può disegnare ma ancora visibile dalla riflessione specchio. La stanza è situata nell'edificio allegato che ha molte scale, quindi non così conveniente anche per gli anziani. In generale, hotel decente ma consigliato solo se non si sono problemi a piedi o a guidare.

Amo assolutamente l'Hotel Hanabishi Ho avuto il migliore 2-night soggiorno qui. L'hotel è tranquillo senza grandi gruppi di tour, e ho davvero goduto il sentimento tradizionale e le vibrazioni rilassanti. Ho provato tutti i tipi di camera, e il mio preferito è la camera da futon con un asciugamano privato, il futon è molto comodo, e la camera stessa è incredibilmente spaziale. Il personale è amichevole e utile, anche per aiutarmi con l'arrangiamento del servizio taxi. La posizione è conveniente, solo circa un 10-minute di guida dall'aeroporto di Hakodate. Mi piaceva anche il buffet per colazione e il set di cena, e mi hanno davvero incastrato come se fossi la regina del mondo. La folla pubblica è bella e enorme. Io scelgo di rimanere qui per sempre ogni volta che sono nella zona.

I have mixed feelings regarding this round of stay, my first visit years back was great. I can't say the same for this time. We took a 7 hours overnight bus ride from Sapporo, and arrived at the hotel at 6.35am. There was no one at the reception nor lobby, which is fine. We saw there was coffee and rolls served at the open area and were thinking of getting a cup of coffee after a long overnight bus ride. Then there was this old age man, hotel staff, who jumped out from no way chasing us away saying this is only for hotel guests. This is not a Japan warm Hospitality which we used to. I think we are not your guests until we receive the room key at 3pm. We don't feel welcome. However the rest of the 4 days stay were great but our mood has been affected as we are just a transaction to the staff.

Tabino Hotel Ishikari (旅之酒店石狩) is a relatively new hotel that opened in late 2025, and it quickly became one of my favorite stops during my Hokkaido trip. Located in Ishikari City, it’s about a 15–20 minute drive from central Sapporo areas like Hokkaido University or Odori Park, making it a smart choice for those who want easy access to the city without staying right in the busy downtown. One of the first things that struck me was the massive parking lot—it’s a spacious, flat, free parking area with plenty of spots, even for larger vehicles (though larger ones might need prior arrangement). No stress about circling for a space or paying extra fees, which is a huge plus for self-drive travelers in Hokkaido. The room felt pleasantly spacious compared to many budget or business hotels in Japan. I could fully open my suitcase, unpack comfortably, and still have plenty of room to move around. All rooms come equipped with handy in-room amenities like a washing machine, microwave, and fridge, which are great for longer stays or if you want to heat up snacks. The surroundings are remarkably quiet and peaceful, giving that relaxing escape-from-the-city vibe, especially at night. Yet, convenience is never compromised—there’s a 24-hour convenience store (like a 7-Eleven) just a 1-minute walk away, perfect for grabbing late-night snacks, drinks, breakfast items, or anything you need without driving. It’s such a thoughtful location balance. One of the biggest highlights is the on-site hot spring facility. The large public bath uses an artificial onsen inspired by Noboribetsu’s Shirakaba-no-Yu (white birch hot spring), with milky, smooth water that’s incredibly soothing after a day of driving or sightseeing. There’s also a sauna, making it easy to unwind and recharge right at the hotel—no need to hunt for external onsens. Cleanliness is top-notch throughout the property. Everything from the lobby and corridors to the rooms and bath areas felt spotless and well-maintained, with fresh linens and no lingering odors. It’s clear the staff takes pride in keeping the place immaculate. Overall, Tabino Hotel Ishikari offers excellent value: comfortable, feature-packed rooms, unbeatable parking convenience, that perfect mix of tranquility and nearby 24/7 shopping, plus the bonus of relaxing in the hot springs without leaving the hotel. It’s ideal for self-drive explorers, families, or anyone wanting a peaceful yet practical base near Sapporo. I’d definitely stay here again on future trips!

Tried this hotel as the first stop of pur Hokkaido trip, all in all a very good experience. We get to experience tatami room, Japanese fine dining cuisine, and private onsen to top. The location might be a bit isolated and may required a vehicle for better mobility.

Servizi: L'hotel è piuttosto grande, con un edificio principale e una dependance. Avevo specificato di non voler una camera d'angolo, ma al momento del check-in mi hanno comunque assegnato la camera più in fondo. Per una sola notte, pazienza. La camera era di dimensioni accettabili e la singola sembrava essere stata rinnovata. La colazione ora sembra essere solo occidentale, non c'erano i sashimi che altri avevano menzionato prima; non so se sia cambiato per il periodo del Primo Maggio. L'onsen è ottimo, con piscine interne ed esterne; dopo una giornata stancante, fare un bagno in hotel è molto rilassante! Ambiente: L'hotel è a circa 10 minuti a piedi dalla stazione di Hakodate, ma è molto vicino alla costa di Omori. Per raggiungere Goryokaku, si può prendere il tram dalla stazione di Matsukaze, quindi i trasporti sono abbastanza buoni. Servizio: Il servizio dell'hotel è accettabile, in particolare l'addetto al deposito bagagli al check-out è stato molto premuroso. Il rapporto qualità-prezzo è buono e nel complesso sono abbastanza soddisfatto.
