We had a wonderful stay at the Hilton Garden Inn Dublin City Centre. The room was clean, modern, and comfortable, with a great view of the city. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, always ready with a smile or recommendation. The location was perfect—close to everything yet quiet at night. We felt very welcomed and well taken care of. Would definitely stay again!

Six stars hotel👍🏼👍🏼. U feel great to stay in such a gorgeous hotel. Every items in the room worth yr heart felt appreciation to the designer n owner. for example, the open wardrobe laid with classy coffee machine, instant chocolate n cookies. Water in the fridge is thoughtfully picked and well blended with the chic n stylish design. Breakfast!!! Very nice spread and generous with the ingredients. You can get honeycomb and pine nuts…The crew at the front and the restaurant are so nice and friendly and professional!!! I swear to all I will go back in my next Dublin visit and use their other hotel in the group. Well done.. the Mont!!

Questo potrebbe essere un elogio ingiustificato, ma uscivamo da una situazione di merda con Airbnb. Questo posto era fantastico. Lo staff è stato super disponibile. Un ringraziamento speciale a Gisele che è apparsa magicamente quando abbiamo avuto problemi e li ha fatti sparire. A questo punto del nostro viaggio eravamo abituati a vedere le cose andare male e lei ha gestito il mio gruppo alla perfezione con professionalità e gentilezza. È un po' fuori mano rispetto a tutta l'azione della città, ma nel complesso lo consiglierei.

Recentemente sono rimasto all'Hotel Riu Plaza The Gresham Dublin e ho trovato la sua posizione sulla O'Connell Street come un'ottima comodità per esplorare le principali attrazioni di Dublino.
La colazione era incredibile, ma la zona di lobby si sentiva in crampi durante i tempi di picco, rendendola meno invitante per il rilassamento.
Mentre la posizione centrale dell'hotel è un vantaggio significativo, miglioramenti nelle offerte di colazione e nei comfort di lobby migliorerebbero l'esperienza complessiva degli ospiti.

La stazione Luas è appena fuori dalla porta. L'hotel è molto tranquillo vicino all'hotel. Si trova nella zona di Charlemont e ci sono grandi aziende come Deloitte e Facebook nelle vicinanze. Non lontano dalle attrazioni urbane

The stay at the hotel was perfect, the cleaning was good although they forgot to put us tissues during all the stay, but everything was very clean. However, there was something we didnt like. We had a one day trip and had to wake up very early. We had to leave the hotel at 7 am, it was a Monday, so the day before we asked the receptionist, she was very kind and told us that we could come at 6 am to have breakfast since most of the things would be ready before 6:30 am (the time they open the breakfast room). We came at 6:15, just 15 minutes before the breakfast started but a rude lady (from the night shift) told us that we had to wait until 6:30. We were confused because they had assured us we could get something for breakfast, but she repeated that this was not possible. I couldnt barely reply to her because she left before I could finish the sentence

C'è una fermata del tram proprio accanto all'hotel, il che rende gli spostamenti comodi. Anche raggiungere il centro città a piedi è facile: ci vogliono circa 30 minuti a piedi lungo il fiume.
Il personale della reception è molto cordiale.
È un hotel in stile residence; la camera è dotata di utensili da cucina, lavastoviglie, frigorifero e lavatrice. Sorprendentemente, il bagno ha persino uno stendino riscaldato, il che lo rende adatto anche a soggiorni prolungati. Tuttavia, la pulizia non viene effettuata quotidianamente.
Non ci sono finestre, quindi l'aria potrebbe risultare un po' afosa se siete sensibili alla pressione dell'aria.

Il hotel ha un'esperienza molto buona, è stato molto conveniente per i voli iniziali e è stato facile raggiungere l'aeroporto dall'hotel. La stanza era pulita e confortevole, e le strutture erano ben mantenute.
Il servizio è stato eccellente il personale è stato amichevole, efficiente e utile per tutta la mia permanenza. Pulizia e servizi hanno anche superato le aspettative.
In generale, un hotel aereo affidabile e piacevole. Sarei felice di rimanere qui di nuovo.

UUtente ospiteWe had an overall great experience at this hotel. It is in a quieter area of Dublin but there is plenty to see and do just a short walk away including Trinity College, the National Museum of Ireland galleries and within 15 minute walk of most major attractions. They also had good connections to the airport using the Dublin Express Bus that had quite a few stops nearby. There are some very good restaurants a short walk away from this hotel and the Leap Card can get you pretty good public transportation around the city.
The hotel has studio style kitchenette apartments. We were surprised with how well equipped the little kitchens were which included multiple cooking utensils and pots. They had a Nespresso machine, kettle, toaster, mini fridge (stocked with some milk), microwave/oven and a mini dishwasher. Dishwasher tablets, dish soap, sugar, salt, pepper and a few other things were conveniently included. We made ourselves breakfast each day we were here which was easy to do because there is a Tesco Express and possibly the best bakery in Dublin just around the corner with Bread 41.
The room was pretty good with plenty of outlets and even though it was a bit small there was enough space for our two large suitcases and bags. They have a small seating area with a table, a large flat screen TV, good WiFi and good lighting. The bathroom was pretty good too but we weren't a fan of the partition because it does not cover the full shower area and it was easy for water to get out of the shower. They have an all in one body wash too. The room was mostly quiet but we were there on New Year's Eve and there was one lady who had a very loud complaint in the hallway around 3 in the morning for around 15 minutes.
The staff are very kind and helpful. They had no room left in their luggage storage when we arrived so they allowed us early check in which is usually 20 Euros. They have a WhatsApp ”AI” chat that you can request service through and we used it for extra towels that came up pretty quickly.
The hotel has some amenities including a small restaurant/bar that has some food and coffee and paid laundry machines. Breakfast here costs 15 euros if you pre-book but if you want it the morning of it is 17 Euros. The one thing we found tricky about the hotel is that we had to use the elevator to go up and down even though we were on the first floor because all the stairwells are locked up for safety/fire protocol.
Overall, a good stay for our first time in Dublin and we would consider staying here again or recommending to friends and family with similar interests to ours.

TTeacherTravelTimesI decided to ditch staying in the city centre based on my below par experiences there on my last trip. When looking on Trip.com, Fitzpatrick Castle Hotel in Dalkey was the same price as several dorm rooms in the city centre when I looked.
Getting there from Dublin Airport was relatively straightforward. I took and Aircoach from the airport to Dalkey/Ulverton Road and then walked for about 15 minutes. Up to the hotel entrance.
The hotel is fairly old fashioned but personally I found it very charming. The staff were well-trained in the art of hospitality, the rooms were clean, locals were in and out of the bar, restaurant and leisure centre.
Furthermore, the room was spacious with tea and coffee making facilities. The tv had a nice range of channels and the bathroom had a working shower and an abundance of towels. One thing missing was a toothbrush, toothpaste and shaving kit. I was told that you can get slippers on request as well.
Get the breakfast. It’s €16 and it’s a buffet style with a delicious selection of hot and cold food. There’s rashers, sausages, hash browns, pancakes, the works. I wish I could’ve eaten more! I loved that they had a wide range of ages working there as well. One of the staff tripped when she went to ask if everything was ok and she said ‘I’m fine, I’m falling for you!’ It was then that I knew that I was home.
The leisure centre is one of the best I’ve come across in a while. I’ve stayed in so many places where it’s literally an empty room with a few bits of old equipment but they had loads of weights, treadmills, bikes, etc. They do classes and physiotherapy as well. The pool and jacuzzi were also excellent. Plenty of ages in both as well but it wasnt overcrowded so you’ll get a few lengths in if you want.
Lastly, make sure to go for a walk about Dalkey and the surrounding areas. I spent the morning walking down to the Vico Baths, the Forty Foot (both swimming locations) and passed through Dalkey Village. Plenty of people will be out with their family and friends whether it be for a walk, bike ride, swim or a coffee and a chat. Ditch Dublin City and say yes to Dalkey!

Quando abbiamo prenotato inizialmente, la prenotazione era per l'Hard Rock Hotel. Circa una settimana e mezza prima del mio arrivo, NYX ha acquisito l'edificio. Non abbiamo ricevuto alcuna notifica da nessuna delle due aziende. L'hotel era leggermente obsoleto e stava subendo gli inizi della ristrutturazione. Il personale sembrava essere stato assunto da NYX e non aveva familiarità con l'hotel o era composto da ex dipendenti che non avevano familiarità con le politiche della nuova direzione. Ad esempio, la serratura manuale a catena sulla mia porta era stata disattivata in entrambe le nostre camere e il personale alla reception non sembrava capire come fosse successo. Mi hanno spostato immediatamente in una stanza con una serratura manuale funzionante, ma non sembravano capire perché sentissi il bisogno di averne una in quanto donna single nella stanza e mi hanno assicurato che il personale avrebbe rispettato la mia privacy. Anche la persona nell'altra stanza nella nostra prenotazione era disabile ma non voleva preoccuparsi di traslocare. Il giorno dopo, le pulizie hanno fatto irruzione nella sua stanza senza aspettare una risposta al suo bussare. La persona dentro stava appena finendo di vestirsi.
A parte questo, sono solo piccole cose che non sono ancora state risolte nel cambio di gestione. Ad esempio, i loro scanner per tessere nelle camere e negli ascensori sembrano nuovi e ancora pignoli, e la persona alla reception non aveva letto la politica sulla lavanderia sui tagliandi della lavanderia NYX nelle camere. I tagliandi specificavano che sarebbe tornato entro le 18:00 se ritirato entro le 8:00, ma lei ha detto che potrebbe essere il giorno dopo. Mi ha anche fatto portare la biancheria alla reception quando il tagliando diceva che sarebbe stata ritirata. Il personale è stato davvero fantastico e quando gliel'ho fatto notare ho ricevuto la lavanderia in giornata; sembrava un nuovo malinteso della gestione.
In generale, consiglierei di soggiornare qui dopo che avranno avuto la possibilità di sistemarsi e ristrutturare. Stavano già iniziando a rimuovere le decorazioni dell'Hard Rock e sospetto che rifaranno anche i vecchi tappeti e le pareti dai colori vivaci. Dal momento che non abbiamo ricevuto alcuna notifica sulla nuova gestione e sulla ristrutturazione, non sono sicuro che ce ne sarà una anche su quello.

UUtente ospiteThe Bonnington is usually my go to hotel in dublin, however the stay before this and now this stay has made me look for somewhere else in future. The staff as always were exceptional, however our room was incorrectly rang my reception at 5am, (and on a previous stay we were awoken in the middle of the night by a false fire alarm, so a full nights sleep is not a guarantee).
What was the most frustrating is the general disrepair of the hotel. The rooms are fairly small so for the higher price point you are really paying for the facilities. The smaller issues like furniture being old and leather chairs peeling and flaking were not a big problem, just a mild annoyance. However the bath/shower leaking everywhere when used from the base of the tub and leaving the floor soaking wet, the steam room being out of order and us not being informed of this when or even after booking, and the crowdedness and of the pool and other facilities because of non hotel users with memberships to the leisure clubs taking up the whole hot tub and sauna at once in personal groups was frustrating.
The room was also extremely hot, and the AC very very loud while not actually doing much to cool the room. There was nothing particularly stay ruining about it however if you’re paying over 200 euro for one night somewhere you would expect things to be at least average.
The main redemption was the friendliness and kindness of the staff.

UUtente ospiteMy husband and I had been planning this trip to Dublin for quite some time. And when we found this beautiful boutique hotel online, we were so excited. As soon as we arrived And checked in, there was a lot going on in the lobby area, so it was a little overwhelming. We saw a lady at the desk, but we weren’t sure that she actually worked there because she didn’t greet us. Didn’t even look our way. It seemed like she had a general disinterest or disdain for us being there. I asked, “Is this the front desk to the hotel?” To which she responded in a monotone voice, “Yes.” I was shocked that this was the first impression of the hotel that we were getting. What made it worse was that my husband was told that we needed to put a card on hold and he proceeded to tap his card thinking that it was like all the other places we had been to in Ireland. But it didn’t work. Several times he tapped it and it showed nothing. He asked the lady, “does your tap work? Do you have tap?” To which she replied a curt, “no.” Mind you, she was standing there the entire time and could see the entire situation. This interaction was such a bummer, and this made our short trip to Dublin feel a little sour.
To be honest, not all of the stuff was like that morning. We woke up to get a coffee downstairs, and the gentleman that works at the coffee bar was very warm. A young Spanish speaking man. He was absolutely amazing; patient and willing to answer any questions About the items on the menu And the different pastries available.
Overall, the hotel was a mixed bag. It had a very chic vibe but outside of that lovely gentleman, their customer service can definitely improve!

All'inizio avevo dei dubbi per la vicinanza del treno ma senza problemi non si sente. Soddisfazione totale e dalla fermata dell'autobus Dublin Georges Quay Ulster Bank, ci vogliono circa 10 minuti a piedi.

Bathroom was large with good water pressure and complimentary robe, hot chocolate, tea, coffee and cookies. The front desk woman was excellent at her job, even remembering my room number when I asked for access to the gym after checking in. Dinner at the Mayfly was quiet and delicious (fish and chips) and Katie was an excellent server. The gym appears to be recently redecorated but the machines are low-end, outdated concept 2 bikes and rowers and a strange non automatic (manual?) treadmill. The free weights were new and I preferred these to the machines. If strong cardio matters to you during your stay, spend more to stay at the Hilton with its Peloton contract. If not, stay here. Breakfast was a little odd. Granted I did walk in 9:35 when breakfast closes at 10, but as soon as I started taking food from the buffet a woman started clearing the condiments away. She also told me that coffee and tea were served table side but after asking someone for coffee, I was told “I’ll be with you shortly” and she never returned. I ended up serving myself the coffee from the carafe. I don’t mind a self-serve breakfast but management should doublecheck with the breakfast servers. I noticed that all of the other guests (men) had coffee, but I’m not sure if they, also, served themselves. All in all, it was a lovely and relaxing stay, and the room felt very lux. 4/5 stars
