This hotel is very convenient. Right next to the bazaar. A short walk. The room was great overlooking the mosque, however, as a foreigner arriving without being able to speak Chinese wasn’t treated nicely in the check in process.. but the staff in the second night at night was super friendly

My friend and I stayed at the Tianyuan Hangyou Hotel during a layover in Urumqi, and it was the perfect choice for a short stay near the airport. The location is extremely convenient - just ~15 minutes away from the terminal, which made our transit hassle-free. The hotel offers a shuttle service to and from the airport, which was a great advantage. Though the hotel could use minor renovations, the price-to-quality ratio is excellent. The room had all the essentials: slippers, toothbrushes and toothpaste, a comb, a hairdryer, an electric kettle, cups, and bottled water. The Wi-Fi worked well, which was important for us to plan our day trip and order a taxi. One of the highlights was the breakfast buffet, which offered a good variety of options. Even if you're not yet accustomed to Chinese cuisine, you can find simple choices like boiled eggs and mantou (steamed buns). For sightseeing, the city center and main attractions (such as the Xinjiang Museum, Red Hill Park, the Grand Bazaar, and the mosque) are about 30 minutes away by taxi. We managed to explore all of them in a day. Nearby, there are also local markets, convenience stores, and small cafés for snacks and essentials. Overall, if you need a comfortable, budget-friendly hotel close to Urumqi Airport with good service and decent amenities, Tianyuan Hangyou Hotel is a great option. Highly recommended for transit travelers!

Everything was pretty good. Although it's a bit far from the airport, the return trip was smooth since it was a Saturday—it took less than half an hour to get there. There are some steep steps at the entrance, but the staff helped with the luggage. The front desk was great, the room was spacious and clean, and there’s a laundry room. Definitely worth it.

My stay at the Jifeng International Hotel in Kashgar was fantastic! The hotel offers the most affordable price without compromising on amenities. The room was impeccably clean and tastefully furnished, providing a perfect retreat after exploring Kashgar. The complimentary breakfast was a delightful spread of local and continental options, ensuring a great start to each day. The staff were incredibly hospitable and attentive, always ready to assist with any requests or recommendations for local attractions. Overall, the hotel's attention to detail, from the affordable price to the excellent service and convenient amenities like free airport pickup and breakfast, made my stay in Kashgar truly memorable. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a blend of comfort, affordability, and hospitality in this beautiful city.
