Accommodation: Guests have praised the hotel for its cleanliness and comfort. Rooms are well-appointed, featuring modern furnishings and amenities such as Temple Spa toiletries, free Wi-Fi, and tea and coffee facilities. While some guests have noted that certain rooms can be on the smaller side, the overall comfort and ambiance receive high marks.   Dining Experience: The hotel’s restaurant, set within a rebuilt conservatory, offers a bright and airy dining space. The location of this hotel is great, very close to Chester and all the attractions around. In terms of the room, our room was very spacious and the bed was very big. However it was two singles joined together, so a gap between the two. This is probably where the good bits end. The size of the room and bathroom really was a positive though, especially travelling with a baby. We had to pay £5 to hire a travel cot and in the end we didn’t use it. The cot mattress appears to have never been replace and was very thin and lumpy, making it redundant. The wooden slates at the bottom of the crib could be felt very dominantly through what was left of the mattress, meaning our baby was waking up uncomfortable and we had to transfer him to the bed. In terms of things that could do with improvement: Cleanliness The room floor was very dirty and could have benefited from an additional vacuum. Initially I put this down to arriving on New Year’s Day and then having a lot of people check out that day, but the whole hotel appeared a little bit grubby on closer inspection. The spa pool was exceptionally dirty. The floor coming out of the changing room covered in hair and general dirt. The showers looked like they hadn’t had a good scrub in months, with yellow build up all over the floor and walls. Not what you expect from a spa! To top it off after swimming I have contracted the Norovirus. Service Our first encounter with the reception staff was great the lady very welcoming and friendly. We met the cleaner as well who was also lovely. The rest of the staff we encountered were not so great. Either rude or disinterested, I get that it might not be your dream job but service with a smile goes a long way. Facilities The hot water takes a while to come through at busier times, this is signposted in the room. However, the water does not get very water at all. It does come through at a pleasant temperature, but not great if you like a bath or shower on the warmer side. There are three times a day when you can go swimming with children. It would be great if these times were restricted to children/families only, as there were quite a few adults sitting around the poolside and in the hot tub. Breakfast was ok, but a lot of the time left uncovered. Overall not a great stay and would be unlikely to stay again.

**Hotel Review: Crewe Hall Hotel and Spa, Cheshire** As a solo traveler with my beloved sausage dog, Stanley, I recently had the opportunity to stay at Crewe Hall Hotel and Spa for one night. Here’s my experience: **Location:** The location of the hotel is absolutely excellent. Nestled in beautiful grounds, it provides a serene backdrop for relaxation and exploration. The picturesque setting truly enhances the overall experience. **Arrival and Service:** Unfortunately, my arrival experience was somewhat disappointing. The service upon check-in felt slow and not particularly welcoming. There was no offer of assistance with my luggage or guidance on where I could take Stanley, which left me feeling a bit lost. I expected a more hospitable reception, especially given the hotel’s reputation. **Room Quality:** On a positive note, the room was clean and well-appointed, featuring a lovely spacious bathroom that included a plush robe and complimentary toiletries such as shampoo and soap. I appreciated the mini bar, which had complimentary water, adding a nice touch to my stay. **Room Service:** One downside was the room service hours, which ended at 10 PM. I arrived at 8:15 PM and was informed of this limitation, which felt a bit early for a hotel of this caliber. It would have been nice to have more flexible dining options during my stay. **Dining:** The hotel itself is stunning, and the grounds are a joy to explore. I had breakfast at the brasserie restaurant, where the attentive staff made a significant difference. The breakfast was wonderful, with a variety of delicious options that set a positive tone for my day. **Overall Impression:** While my stay had its ups and downs, the beautiful setting and the quality of the accommodations were highlights. I hope that the service experience can be improved for future guests, as that would truly elevate the stay. I would consider returning, especially for the lovely grounds and excellent breakfast, but I would hope for a more welcoming atmosphere next time.

Questa è stata la nostra quarta visita all'Hotel Queen per una breve pausa, e rimane un nostro preferito. All'arrivo, ci fu assegnata una stanza che non soddisfava pienamente i nostri requisiti, che era importante perché la mia compagna di viaggio ha problemi di mobilità. Il ricevitore era però assolutamente fantastico e ha cambiato la nostra stanza senza alcun problema, portandoci a una bella stanza accessibile sul pavimento. Come sempre, il personale è cortese e professionale, le camere e le strutture sono impeccabilmente pulite, e il cibo, sia al colazione che nella sala, è eccezionale valore e qualità. L’unica cosa che si trovava in fondo a questo tempo era notare alcuni tagli nella stanza. A differenza delle nostre precedenti soggiorni, non c’erano acqua bollita e biscotti sul portafoglio di ospite. È una cosa piccola, ma questi piccoli comfort aumentano il soggiorno. Tuttavia, è un bel hotel e abbiamo avuto un bel tempo rilassante grazie al loro eccellente servizio.

Questa è la seconda volta che abbiamo soggiornato in questo hotel, e la nostra scelta è dovuta principalmente alla sua comoda posizione e al buon colazione. È molto vicino all'aeroporto e molto tranquillo di notte, circondato da fattorie e prati. Il buffet non è un tipico, ma è un menu con una grande varietà di opzioni, tutte di buon gusto. La decorazione del ristorante è anche bella, e sarete più che soddisfatti delle porzioni. Il personale del ristorante è passionato, amichevole e utile. Un punto di riferimento è che la zona di accoglienza è spesso circondata da ospiti, che è solo un'osservazione e non né positiva né negativa. I ricevitori fanno sempre il loro meglio e sono molto gentili e professionali. Tuttavia, la progettazione della stanza è un po' obsoleti.

L'hotel Oddfellows è stato facile da accedere, ma avrebbe aiutato a avere l'indirizzo esatto dell'appartamento in anticipo, così potremmo parcheggiare più facilmente. L'appartamento 5 era in alto e molto spazioso. Il soggiorno/cucina/cina era ben strutturato e il tè e il caffè disponibile erano molto benvenuti. Camere e bagni erano grandi, confortevoli e puliti (ma potevano essere fatti con qualche gancio per asciugamani o cappotti). C'è anche una lavanderia. Decof è chicco e la posizione è grande - proprio dalle strade principali. Favoloso luogo per soggiornare.

Brillante notte, cibo è stato favoloso, colazione e cena eccellente- servizio sorprendente e molto attento e personale curativo

La prima impressione dell'hotel, compresa la posizione, è stata eccellente e ho solo un negativo dal nostro soggiorno che è stato segnalato alla ricezione al check-out. C'è un grande problema nell'hotel con le porte di camera da letto che chiudono in silenzio ogni volta che qualcuno entra o lascia una stanza, perché non hanno un'aspirazione che rovina la nostra serata e la nostra notte nella nostra stanza. Il resto dell'hotel è stato eccellente con una bella piscina e un ristorante. Il colazione può essere descritto solo come magnifico con il nostro nipote che la gode. La posizione, compresa la parcheggio auto, è ideale per camminare intorno al centro di Chester City con una camminata a 100 yd alle strade principali e ai livelli. In generale, consiglierei l'hotel per una Città Break e sarebbe facile qualificare per 5 stelle se potessero mettere qualche dispositivo di aspirazione / chiusura di primavera sulle porte della camera da letto.

Incredibile da parte di partenza a finitura. Un po 'mix su un sistema di prenotazione ma ordinato entro minuti. Non poteva essere meglio guardato! Ottimo valore, il personale che va il miglio extra ha reso il nostro soggiorno di 1 notte così piacevole i bambini non volevano andare a casa!

We had a lovely time it was one of our celebration for our 50th wedding anniversary and the staff were great. I had knee surgery 12 weeks ago. They made sure we had a downstairs room and even found another chair to go in our room as I needed one with arms on to get up. We had dinner at the restaurant Friday evening and the food and service was quick and excellent.
