All is excellent at Meriton Chastwood, except they are no more offering daily room cleaning. Although they have installed new coffee machine at Lobby , but now the coffee machine in room is not working. We did not ask for a change due to some previous experience of changing is just wasting our time. All in all they are good people and managemnt

Ho detto al personale dell'hotel W il mese scorso che sarei tornato e qui sono io! Questa volta ho prenotato una stanza di vista della città invece della vista del porto. Adoro ancora l'atmosfera, bello e tranquillo. Hanno accolto la mia richiesta, così grato. La stanza è davvero tesa e pulita. Grazie, W Hotel. Sarei sicuramente tornato!

La stanza è fantastica, le suite grandi pulite e confortevoli, e il buffet di colazione è molto più facile di quello che è normalmente disponibile in altre catene hotel simili. Sentivo che tutto era un po'più grande, ma ben tenuto e pulito, anche se i interni sembravano poco date

Having had the opportunity of staying at a few other four seasons around the world and the sydney branch felt abit lacking. Service was straightforward at best. Shower screen had gaps where water leaked to the floor during a shower but was informed it always has been.

Stayed two more nights after the Sydney Marathon. On the last night there was unexpected road work which was very noisy and was expected to continue until mid-night. The staff member at the reception (male with glasses) and the manager (Ms Sarah) on duty that night arranged for us to move to a room facing Hyde Park - the side that was not affected by the road work - so we were able to sleep. It was not easy as there were conferences and events going on at the hotel that night. BIG THANK YOU to both of them!!

La casa è stata molto gentile, e ha fatto un giorno piovoso, con gli ombrelli. La camera era bella e confortevole, e un letto generoso per due. Bella camera da bagno con bagno, doccia in piedi e toilette separata. L'unica pecora che avevamo era che la ventilazione nel bagno non era così grande, perché c'era un leggero odore di molli da quella bagnata che si sfuggeva nella stanza principale. La sala da ginnastica era piccola, ma molto buona, perché aveva un sacco di attrezzature, c'era acqua filtrata e molte mele per un snack post-training, che era molto conveniente. Tuttavia, in tutto questo è stato un piacevole soggiorno e non esitavamo a visitare di nuovo, spero in una stanza diversa.

One metro station (Mascot) from domestic airport. This apartment is only 5 min-walk from the Mascot metro stn and the vicinity has many restaurants (mainly Eastern) and supermarkets or pharmacy. Very new cozy spacious and moden apartment with alp kinds of necessary amenities as one's home. Actual payment has to be made at the reception although preauthorisation of my credit card had been made upon booking online. Extra fees for credit cards will be charged and cash is acceptable only to the limit AUD100. So at the end I paid hybrid to minimise the extra charges for credit card. I think this apartment should have prepared online prepayment to avoid the hassle. We could hear all the noise of airplanes inside our room, but not much a problem for us since we oniy stayed one night and noise was much reduced after shutting the door and window. Overall a very cozy stay.

I stayed at the Crowne in September 2025 and, honestly, it was a deeply disappointing experience. At check-in, the treatment I received from the front desk staff was appalling—plainly rude, condescending, and with the clear attitude that they were doing me a favor just by checking me in. Such arrogance and lack of basic courtesy are simply unacceptable in any hotel, let alone one that claims to be five stars. The contrast could not have been greater at check-out, where we were finally treated with genuine kindness by a member of staff, her name Was Ever Jade. But this only highlighted the unprofessional and ill-mannered behavior of the man who greeted us upon arrival. First impressions matter, and in this case they set the worst possible tone. The hotel itself might look fine at first glance, but the cleanliness is far below what one would expect from a property of this supposed category. And the most outrageous detail came at breakfast: after paying $700 for a room with breakfast included, I was told I was only entitled to one single coffee. This is beyond ridiculous—not even the lowest-rated bed and breakfasts would dare impose such an absurd restriction. A five-star hotel cannot afford these kinds of lapses. The management urgently needs to provide proper training to its staff—not only in professional procedures, but also in basic respect and hospitality. Equally, charging premium prices while denying guests something as simple as a second cup of coffee is both insulting and degrading. Guests who spend a fortune on a stay deserve a five-star experience, not a lesson in rudeness and penny-pinching.

L'appartamento in hotel non è all'altezza di un buon B&B. La pulizia della camera prevedeva un supplemento se si faceva pulire dall'hotel, ma non c'erano palette, stracci o aspirapolvere disponibili per la pulizia autonoma. Quindi, dopo tre giorni, il pavimento era completamente sporco. Il detersivo per il bucato e il detersivo per i piatti erano entrambi in flaconi molto piccoli, e si potevano prendere gratuitamente alla reception dopo l'uso. Abbiamo soggiornato al 36° piano, con vista su metà Darling Harbour, ma la vista era nella media. Questo edificio si trova probabilmente tra il 50° e il 60° piano, quindi più si sale, migliore è la vista.

Location is excellent. Service staff was polite and helpful. Room decor style is simple modern classic, nothing fanciful. Bathroom looks a bit dated but clean. Shower head is fixed to the wall, can't be removed. There is no rain shower head too. Toiletries were not provided in the room, need to request from front desk.
