Hotel a {{star}} a Meghalaya, ({{countryName}})

We were a group and we booked the suite. It is a huge room with 1 king bed, 1 queen bed and 1 single bed. 5 people can comfortably stay there and it also has 2 private balconies. The first night was terrible for us as in such a huge room there was just one small wall fan and hence we had to open the windows which resulted in a swarm of mosquitos coming in as it faces the lawn. As it is zostel, there was no service at night and the next morning we raised a complaint to the ***ager. He was the most helpful ***ager I have ever seen. He got everything done within hours and post that our stay was pleasant and so wonderful that we also extended for 2 more nights. The entire staff is very accomodating, good to talk to and soft spoken. The food at the restaurant is delicious and they also cater to individual needs. The only drawback is that they are extremely slow. If the cafe is full, do not expect your order to be served for an hour. Morning breakfast times, we would give the order, go to the room.. have a bath and get ready and still the order would not have been prepared.. Coffees and drinks are given in a jiffy.. But nevertheless, they also catered to serve us at late hours by keeping the food ready for us even after the restaurant shut down. Overall, it is a wonderful stay.. There are some hiccups (which all hostels have unless you opt for a 5 star hotel) but the best part is they listen to your grievances and act immediately. A big kudos to Santosh - without his help, we would have been in a terrible soup.. He definitely deserves a raise.. Thank You Santosh for everything!

Nice place and situated a good location to spend some time and relax. The staff team is very polite and courteous. Food quality is also very good. But the park is not well maintained.

Grande posizione, grande cibo, personale pulito e incredibile. Hanno reso il nostro soggiorno molto comodo e memorabile. Il cibo è davvero magnifico hanno un ristorante puro vegetariano, devono provare la loro cucina indiana speciale dal mahani, aloo dum. La maggior parte dei luoghi consigliati per visitare e rimanere in shilong.

Il servizio era veloce e preciso. I curatori erano molto gentili e mi aiutarono molto durante il mio soggiorno. Il cibo era sorprendente e la vista era bella. In generale, l'intera stanza era piacevole e confortevole, è un grande posto per rilassarsi e in generale è stata una scelta eccellente

This is a simple, clean and quiet place to stay at while at Shillong. The rooms are large enough for a couple. The property is in a quieter part of the town. The staff at the reception, are friendly and efficient. The only area for improvement is breakfast. It is too simple. If they could add some fruit to begin with, it would make a big difference.

I stayed in Woodstock resort it was one of my best resort Location wise Food is yummy Services are very good Whatever you ordered we get immediately Weather is so pleasant Especially I would like to Thank Ms. Tina Dewri for her wonderful service. I recommend highly to all of my friends and family to go and visit Woodstock Resort and meet the manager she was so helpful and kind hearted. Overall it was my wonderful experience if I get a chance to rate I should have rated 100 out of 100. Thank you Ms.Tina and your team for everything and lovely services We will visit again .

Per tasso l'hotel dovrebbe essere deluxe. Ma sembra un normale hotel di villaggio. La pulizia è molto povera. Molti insetti e ratti si spostano all'interno della stanza.

Very good people and nice place to have a holiday tour. It may be couple or with family is a naturalistic enjoyment. Not only that the weather is so nice which will remind me of a nice memorable tour.

Convenient location just near police bazar. Very well maintained rooms, with good lighting and sitting arrangements. Tastefully decorated. Restaurant food was very tasty, served on time. The sweet little lady who manages the restaurant front office makes you feel better with her energetic presence. This was my third visit. Looking forward to many more.

Orange Homestay is an excellent accommodation and is above Frank motors (Tata motors dealer). The rooms are spacious and very clean. The terrace is awesome as they have many flowering plants which are blooming. The food is also good but at times the wait time is more. The staff are very helpful and service oriented. They don't expect Tips. Very polite and well mannered. Breakfast options are limited but serving is generous and unlimited. There is only 1 chef and he arrives around 7 am. So the earliest you can expect the Breakfast is at 7:30 am. It would be either of Poori or Bhature or Aloo Paratha ***** with bread toast and bread sandwich. Whatever they cook is tasty. Coming to the drawbacks. 1) No lift. If you get room at 3rd floor then it will be difficult for elderly 2) The accommodation is on Laitmor/Mawblei main road which is always busy and very noisy. Sleeping in the night will be slightly difficult due to the vehicles making noise. 3) Very far away from Police bazaar. You need at least 1 hour by car to reach police bazaar though the distance is only 6 kms. Shillong traffic is pathetic. Taxi guys fleece you. It costed us 400 to come from Police Bazar to Orange homestay. There is no car parking as well at Police bazaar. So if you are keen to spend time on shopping then Orange homestay may not be the right place. We stayed in room 111 at 3rd floor and the room is massive in size. Very thoughtfully stocked with hot packs, geyser, Air conditioning which can also double up as heater, extra blankets etc.

Excellent accommodation bang opposite to a canyon in Sohra. Labana is around 4 kms from Nohkalikai falls(a must visit attraction). The outlook of Labana is deceptive. One may not get a great impression by the outlook, but once you get in , it is just amazing. The rooms are spacious. We were a family of 4 (2 adults and 2 children). The room had 1 Queen bed and 1 single bed. Spotless linen, extra pillows, very nice and cozy comforters to keep us warm. The icing on the cake us that they have put in a lot of thought and have kept Havells room heater ***** with an emergency lamp (power does get tripped occasionally). The rooms are well ventilated but the views from our room was not great though. Coming to the bathroom. Absolutely clean, spic and span with 2 fresh towels, a large Jaguar electric geyser which heats up very hot water in 20 minutes and 3 people can take bath with 1 round of heating. 3 ply toilet roll is kept as well. Food and beverages: We had lemon tea, milk tea etc in the evening and they were good. Milk tea was 30, lemon tea was 20, big glass of milk 60. For dinner we ordered roti, mixed veg curry, plain dal and they were all very tasty and very reasonably priced. Roti was 30 a piece, plain dal was 60, Mixed veg curry was 120. You don't get curd here though. Fortunately they do not cook beef and pork here. We being vegetarians had to satisfy ourselves with the fact that they only cook chicken and fish. The room service is quick and the food is served hot. The staff are very polite and accommodative. I strongly recommend Labana. The restaurant walls are tiled uniquely and gives a very good look. The dining area is very clean and tidy. 1 ltr Bisleri water bottle is complimentary ***** with milk powder, instant coffee, tea and sugar powders.
