AAbderrahmaneIt’s a very nice hotel nice location. Food is great at the restaurant. The room is very clean but there was little hot water so we couldn’t fill the bathtub. The service needs to be enhanced, we arrived but no one there to take the luggage so I had to carry them. The cleaning lady came to our room an hour before the check out time and she put her cleaning stuff in our terrace. Jembe the pool boy was very friendly he showed us around the hotel and took some good photos for me and my wife.

LLynnMy stay at Samawa Living was absolutely phenomenal! From the moment I arrived, I felt an incredible sense of warmth and care from the staff. As a solo traveller, I was made to feel so safe and seen, which made the experience even more special. It truly felt like a home away from home.
I’d like to give a special thanks to Kadogo, Hashimu, Baby, Asha, and the rest of the amazing team who went above and beyond to make my stay unforgettable. Their genuine kindness and attentive service stood out in every interaction.
The location of the hotel was perfect – close to the iconic Paje Beach, with convenient access via buggy, so I could enjoy the beauty of the area while still retreating to the calm and peaceful atmosphere of the hotel. The boho vibes of Samawa Living were stunning, with every detail thoughtfully designed to create a cosy and serene environment.
From the delicious meals to the immaculate rooms and tranquil ambience, everything about Samawa Living exceeded my expectations. I can’t wait to return! If you’re looking for a safe, stylish, and welcoming place to stay in the Paje area, I highly recommend it.

UUtente ospiteThis is my second trip to Marea (previously under another name but with the same owners). I only want to talk about how much I like it if you all promise not to book in for the same weeks that I visit again. It’s quiet, which I love, but within walking distance of busier Paje. The rooms are clean, well-sized, have aircon, fans and cute balconies. Some of the rooms have just been redesigned, and I know there are more upgrades in the works. It has a wonderful Neapolitan restaurant, which is helpful because you don’t ever feel like you *need* to hunt for other food. It has a perfectly sized pool which never feels crowded, and not being in the centre of the resort, doesn’t come with lots of eyes gazing in your direction. Most of all, the staff are fantastic. They always have a smile and a kind word. Service is good and easy. It’s a great find for those looking for a boutique family run resort that also doesn’t break the bank.

AAbdullahi JamiluIt’s my first time in Zanzibar, I spent two nights at this hotel and a night in another hotel, all I can say is that this hotel is wonderful, rooms are clean, food is nice and above all the staffs are lovely, very friendly and helpful, I’ve been to many hotels in different countries but I can give a high thumb for the staffs of Toa hotel, The General Manager, Lucas that received me upon arrival and the best of all The Front Desk Manager ESTHER, thanks a lot for the hibiscus Juice the day I arrived and the last cup you gave me before I leave, you never knew but it’s my best and I’ll come back for it again in sha Allah.
You gave me free wine lucky I don’t drink alcohol I had to return it back to you, thank you so much and I’ll recommend thousands to use your hotel if I have to and I’m sure you’ll never let them down.

OOkuhleAbsolutely loved our stay at Kwanza, my mom and I had the best time. We were greeted by Caroline who always had a smile. Lucky was so jolly and helpful with our bags. Ahamed was always ready to assist with any and everything. The rooms were spacious and clean though there was a day where housekeeping forgot to come and spray the mosquito repellent. We had the best spa day and would highly recommend the full package. The food was exceptional and plentiful, we got the all inclusive package so we had all meals served and would recommend that as the resort is located far from other places. The bar service though needs improving as they were slow because there was only one server per bar but the cocktails were great!! I had forgotten my phone at one of the bathrooms and it was returned to me before I even noticed so the place is very safe.

UUtente ospiteQuesto hotel merita una particolare attenzione, soprattutto per coloro che vogliono riposare una classe premium ma sono limitati nel bilancio.
Le villa sono chic, spaziose, tutte private con il giardino e la propria piscina. I vicini non sono visibili o sentiti. Qualcosa sembra le Maldive, solo ci sono migliaia di dollari di queste camere.
Il territorio è grande, ben dipinto, molto pulito, su di esso è piacevole camminare, che si prende cura di esso merita una medaglia d'oro.
La sicurezza dell'hotel in forma di Masai Warriors è molto insolita, dando la sua emozione.
Un ristorante panoramico aperto. Le viste sono sorprendenti.
La spiaggia è pulita, privata, eccetto per gli ospiti dell'hotel, la sabbia è bianca e morbida. L'oceano è pulito. Il temporale e il temporale sono convenienti. Il tempo è presto al mattino e dopo pranzo quando il sole non è più aggressivo.
Non c'è una tale diversità nella scelta dei piatti, ma è delizioso. Per il colazione succo fresco sgusciato. Lascia che il personale non sia così educato, ma si riflette nel valore. E ancora vi ringrazio molto.

UUtente ospiteSet in a beautiful garden setting on high ground overlooking sea. Old colonial style architecture. Rooms are basic but have no kettle in the room. Toiletries, mosquito nets, excellent WiFi. Lovely staff. Great big breakfast and excellent coffee. No pool. Beach is long way downhill surrounded by mangrove. Need to walk some distance Shops and main road for transport nearby. Airport 4 kilometres, a Taxis costs 20000 Tsh. The number 506 dala dala goes into Stone Town from Mimi cafe.. Would definitely stay again
