Regno Unito: hotel con servizio colazione nella provincia di Hertfordshire

Brilliant hotel for business trips, with clean rooms, wonderfully comfortable beds and great showers. The staff are super polite and welcoming. The hotel carpark is small with space for around 20 cars but there is use of the municiple car park next to it. It is within a 10-12 minute walk to supermarkets, restuarants and takeaways. Overall a great stay.

We (family of 5) stayed in the family room as we had an early flight from Stansted in the morning. We emailed Julie with our arrival time and she had everything prepared for us including an additional camping bed in the room. We were greeted warmly and showed around our and the breakfast room. Julie even went as far to place boy/girl napkins on the table for us which was very sweet. The room itself was lovely - large enough for 5 of us and our luggage. Beds were comfy and we had good hot water and biscuits/hot drinks. The location is perfect for Stansted, it took us less than ten minutes to get to the Mid Stay car park but note that if you're in the Long Stay it's a longer journey. Another advantage is that they will let you park your car on-site for a small fee, and you can then taxi to and from the airport which is only a few minutes (we will definitely do this next time as it's considerably cheaper than the airport car parks). Breakfast was amazing - since we left early we weren't that hungry but they had a huge variety of cereals, bread/crumpets, yoghurts, drinks, cereal bars, cheese, fruit ... the list goes on. Price was also very affordable especially for larger families as we could book a single room vs. having to book two (most places are max. occupancy of four). Many thanks and hope to see you soon!

Abbiamo prenotato a The Ridings per 1 notte, 29 agosto. La posizione è stupenda e un ambiente molto tranquillo, tuttavia siamo stati un po' delusi che l'hotel sia in corso di riabilitazione e non siamo stati informati. All'entrata dell'hotel non c'era alcun telaio sul pavimento e era semplicemente semplice, ma i pavimenti erano in cattivo stato e anche il tetto è stato abbassato esponendo tutti i tubi e i fili di metallo per tubi di pipe, ma non ha dato il senso di lusso. La stanza era pulita e tesa, ma il tappeto era un tappeto di strappo e non si sentiva bene dopo una doccia. È voluta un'età per scoprire come funzionavano le luci nella stanza. Non c'era telefono e la radio era una radio trasistor. Abbiamo prenotato letto e colazione, ma quando siamo andati al ristorante ci è stato detto che non avevamo pagato e che non eravamo sulla loro lista. Sfortunatamente, ci siamo sentiti un po' imbarazzati, perché ci sono altre persone dietro di noi, non prima di leggere il foglio all'interno della stanza che ci ha detto che era in corso di riabilitazione, e penso che questo sia qualcosa che dovrebbe essere sottolineato all'inizio. In generale, la posizione è sorprendente, amichevole con il personale, la colazione è stata buona, ma l'hotel mi sembra di lasciarla andare.Dopo tutto è stato economico per la notte.  

La camera era pulita e piacevolmente calda per tutta la durata del nostro soggiorno, e il rapporto qualità-prezzo era eccellente. Ciò che ha reso davvero speciale l'esperienza è stato il servizio: ogni membro del personale della reception con cui abbiamo interagito è stato gentile, accogliente e sempre sorridente. Si sono dimostrati sinceramente disponibili per ogni nostra richiesta. Sebbene la posizione e i servizi siano piuttosto semplici/nella media, l'eccezionale ospitalità e la pulizia impeccabile rendono questa struttura un'ottima scelta per le coppie in cerca di un soggiorno affidabile.

Allen lavora alla reception e soggiorno in questo hotel da 13 notti. Ogni volta che ho bisogno di cambiare la mia tessera magnetica perché non funziona o perché il personale delle pulizie non mi ha dato gli asciugamani, lo fanno controvoglia. Ho dovuto cambiare la tessera quasi ogni notte, ma quando ha toccato accidentalmente il mio telefono, si è disattivata. Non capisco perché il loro sistema sia così scadente. Il dormitorio di mia figlia usa queste tessere e le associa al telefono, ma non ha problemi. Un grande gruppo alberghiero come questo non può nemmeno utilizzare un sistema di blocco elettronico aggiornato.

Fantastico soggiorno, hotel molto pulito e confortevole. Il personale era super amichevole e utile. Stazione ferroviaria di Apsley direttamente all'opuscolo dell'hotel, facile accesso diretto al centro della città di Londra, molte attrezzature, supermercati e pub carini vicino. Sicuramente consiglia & sarà rimanere sicuramente.

For an overnight stop the hotel suited us just fine and the price suited our budget just fine. Taking the above 'measures' one at a time: Location: this really depends on the purpose of a travellers trip. For us it was ideal, just ia mere 10km south of where we need to be by 09.00 the next morning. Having said that, a description that it is located in a Motorway service area, at the most remote position would have helped. Our arrival was considerably hampered by direction from the A1M, some construction works, poor lighting and road markings around the parking area. It is worth noting that a car parking fee applies. Cleanliness: No complaints on this score. The bathroom arrangements are showing their age, but everything worked just fine. Servie: Check-in was straightforward with a very pleasant receptionist doing his best to make our arrival flawless. Facilities: The lack of hotel parking caught ne off-guard. You need to park in the public parking area of the Service Area. See also my comment on the bathrooms above.

Tutto era bello, ma il personale non era molto amichevole e non ci è stato informato del deposito di 200 sterline che dovevamo mettere in cassa o che saremmo stati chiusi fuori dalla nostra stanza alle 11:00 Sarebbe sicuramente rimasto, ma sarebbe stato bello avere un po'di più informazioni e servizio clienti

The hotel staff said that he couldnt find my booking although I provided my booking reference and voucher and request 15 pounds for Early check in and charged my account 51 pounds in total. Although I kept saying I booked via Trip.com and paid while I booked the hotel online. It was a prepaid booking. I am so disappointed that the hotel sent me the invoice & receipt on 14 March but I was told I would get the balance of receipt and I would be charged the early check in fee 15 pounds only, the accommodation fee after I checked out at 12pm on March 15. On March 15, when I was checking out, I checked with another staff who was on duty, he said the hotel didn’t charge my card, but the agency card, it was acceptable. Unfortunately, on my bank statement I found that the hotel charged my card for all. And it was really disappointed because they didnt really dealed with my questions and my situation. I did double pay for the accommodation to Trip. Com and the Primier Inn Richmanworth.

L'hotel in sé è molto datato e basilare, ma assolutamente perfetto per una notte prima o dopo un volo. Tutto era semplicemente perfetto per noi. Economico e allegro per il nostro budget. Il personale è stato disponibile e il check-in/out è stato facile. Posizione ideale per l'aeroporto di Stansted, in quanto è letteralmente a 5 minuti dai parcheggi dell'aeroporto. È in una welcome break area, quindi KFC, Burger King e Subway sono in loco.
