Cambogia: hotel con piscina nella provincia di Provincia di Siem Reap

Staff service are nice. Located by very close to Angkor wat areas. No lift only problem. Swimming pool and food all nice. TV and hotel room phone are spoiled but no problem for me. This is my experience in P5 Angkor residence hotel. Totally nice.

This hotel, particularly the service, has made me in love with Siem Reap. Mr Phea, Ms. Thida and Ms. Annie truly deserve my recommendation for their great hospitality, genuine care, and friendliness. I was first greeted my Mr Phea at the airport for the pick-up by TukTuk. It was a complimentary by the hotel. He was welcoming and so was Ms Thida when I arrived at the hotel. Not only with her warm smiles, I was also welcomed with a cold towel and a refreshing lemomgrass drink. We chatted like as if we had already known each other! As the room was already available on my arrival , I was granted early check-in to my room. Thank you, Ms Thida! I love my room. It was spacious and cosy. I wished the mini bar was complimentary but no biggie as there's a small grocery store just across the road where you can buy instant noodles, snacks, drinks and toiletries etc I spent the rest of my day out on a TukTuk for sightseeing and lunch. Mr Phea was my loyal TukTuk driver throughout my stay in Anjali. He was also like a tour guide and a friend to me. He brought me to an area where the Muslim community lives. There's a mosque and plenty of Halal food/restaurants. I truly appreciate Mr Phea doing this for me. Because of this, I had the opportunity to devour the delicious Cambodian dishes of Beef Lok Lak, Amok Fish, etc, without having to worry if it was pork-free and safe for me to eat. He brought me for a drive along the paddy fields and to watch the sunset. When I returned to the hotel, I was greeted by Ms Annie and Mr Panha. They were friendly too! Breakfast was alright to me. My first morning, I had my breakfast prepared and packed in a tiffin carrier as I left at 4am to go for the Angkor Wat Sunrise Tour. They packed hard boiled eggs, croissants, bananas, and little baguettes with jam. Only one morning I went to the restaurant for my breakfast and I chose Waffles with fresh fruits. There's a buffet of bakeries (bread, pastries, cakes), fresh fruit juices, cereals, and salad. I would totally recommend that the hotel look into an airtight container for the cereals as the ones I ate were all kinda soft and stale. The salad too should be covered because it was 'covered' with fruit flies and flies feasting on it. My two other breakfasts were spent in my room as requested. One of it was exceptionally good. I requested for scrambled eggs with cheese and mushrooms and I got just that. It was creamy and fluffy! I requested for smoked salmon at the side but was given smoked salmon bagel with rocket leaves and The morning on my check-out day was sort of disgusting. The scrambled eggs were dry and two of out the croissants were cold. The watermelon Juice was good though. It could have been perfect if a glass of ice was served alongside with it.

4-Star Luxury Hotel for the Backpacker Price of $40/night! The first thing you notice about Sokha Palace Siem Reap Hotel is just how pretty it is! The architect, painters, decorators and maintenance staff did a fabulous job (see my photos). The second thing you notice is how delicious the huge buffet is – including free espresso drinks. Third, you notice that the rooms are not only nice but that everything works well (aircon, hot water showers, refrigerator, wifi, and cable TV with news channels from a half dozen countries like CNN). Fourth, it is in a quiet location less than 15 minutes from Angkor Wat, and only a $2 tuktuk ride to Pub Street or anywhere else in Siem Reap. But then you notice the best part: the outstanding hotel staff. For example, the Front Desk Manager Phyrun personally helped me when I could not make my room keycard work, and even brought me a bucket of ice. Originally I booked five nights during Chinese New Year with Trip.com discounts for $39/night, but he gave me a free upgrade from a garden view double with king bed to a pool view room. I liked it so much I wanted to extend, but the best I could find online was $41/night garden view, $51 for pool view. I asked Phyrun if I could get the upgrade again if I bought the $41 online, and he said no – but he smiled and said he would give it to me for $40/night the Khmer rate instead (normally $50 for barangs like me)! The restaurant had other examples of great staff. Some days the restaurant is overflowing with several hundred guests, other days only a few dozen. Yet they maintain the quality and personal touch from the egg and soup station, to the bountiful buffet, to the waiters and waitresses that clear the tables. The Restaurant Manager Somedy and his Assistant Manager Chhaiya keep it all flowing smoothly. Even on the busiest day, waitress Chanthla took the time to show my Khmer friend’s elderly stepmom the way they fold the napkins. Today the espresso machine was not working for a while, so Chhaiya offered to have a waiter drive over to the sister hotel to bring me lattes. I repeatedly declined, but was very impressed by the excellent customer service attitude. So the real beauty of this French chateau style hotel is its employees, including very efficient housekeeping and grounds staff. I checked out the “5-Star” Sokha Resort on the other side of its convention center, but did not like it half as much (especially for 70% more per night). Normally I would be afraid to write a review of a hotel that I like so much, but with 456 rooms I don’t have to worry about it being full. Do yourself a favor and stay here when in Siem Reap.

Прекрасный отель, душевный персонал, там себя чувствуешь почетным гостем, внимательный , заботливый персонал, всегда готов помочь с любым вопросом, номера чистые аккуратные , ежедневная уборка, в номере есть все необходимое , прекрасные завтраки и ребята в кафе очень внимательные и обходительные , мы прекрасно провели там время, и расположение очень удобное , по пути в храмы 👌

Camera grande e pulita, ottimo servizio (Brathna, Thy, Sinat, Seyla), posizione comoda per spostarsi. Consigliato per il soggiorno.

Located in the centre of Siem Reap, The Funky Villiage hostel is within earshot of a lot of attractions in this part of Cambodia. It's best to get a taxi from the airport to reach this destination, as the less expensive buses will not take you directly there & with the hassle of then getting a tuktuk for the remainder of the journey, you might as well shell out a bit more for the sake of feeling more relaxed when you arrive. Funky artwork all over this funky hostel situated on Funky Street. A very, very cheap option, but you will get exactly what you paid for 'nothing more'.

La stanza era esattamente come mostrato nelle foto; spazioso pulito e luminoso. Potrei ordinare colazione alla mia stanza, che era grande. Il primo giorno del colazione era 15 minuti di ritardo, ma fortunatamente non andava all'aeroporto o a nulla. All’epoca della mia permanenza, vi erano due scelte per la colazione, entrambi deliziose. La stanza era completamente riempita di snack, di alcol e di bevande alcoliche a buon mercato. Tutto era di circa un dollaro a un dollaro venticinque. Non c'è ascensore in questo hotel. Ero al terzo piano e ho solo un bagaglio. Il personale era piacevole e ha risposto con pazienza alle domande.

È la prima volta che scrivo una recensione negativa di un hotel. I pregi sono il servizio del personale della hall, il delizioso drink di benvenuto, gli asciugamani e l'acqua ghiacciati ogni giorno al mio ritorno in hotel, e gli spettacoli di danza delle fate due sere a settimana. Gli svantaggi sono la scarsa qualità dell'hardware: il sedile del WC storto, il pulsante di scarico che non si riavvolge facilmente, il pannello elettrico di scarsa qualità, l'interruttore della doccia difficile da azionare... Lo svantaggio maggiore è la presenza di moltissime zanzare. Ne abbiamo uccise più di una dozzina durante il nostro soggiorno, ma ce ne sono ancora alcune. Sono rimasto per alcune notti e non ho dormito bene. Le braccia e il viso del bambino erano tutti coperti di protuberanze. Ho trovato la reception e mi hanno dato solo uno zanzariera elettrica, ma non ha funzionato. Le zanzare volavano proprio accanto allo zanzariera elettrica.

The room is good for low budget travelers or when travel with group of friends. If you wanted a comfortable bed I recommended this place. However, I feel like the shower head is a bit rusty, so for someone who had a sensitive skin might feel a bit itchy. But the overall I think the hotel is nice and comfortable. There are also a local ( like a convenience ) store near the hotel too so it’s pretty much convenient if you wanted late night noodle or snack.
