Wonderful hotel with excellent service in every aspect. The staff - all of them without exception - were friendly and so helpful. Great breakfast. Nice swim up pool and overall amenities in great condition. Big comfortable and well equipped rooms. Shuttle into the center of Luang Prabang whenever needed. Definitely recommend this great hotel. Thank you all for looking after us so well.

La stanza è ben arredata e pulita e ogni giorno mi aspettano regali a sorpresa. L'ora del tè pomeridiano in piscina, il cibo sano e delizioso e lo spazio privato della palestra mi permettono di mantenermi in perfetta forma durante il viaggio. La colazione non solo era sufficiente, ma aveva anche un sapore autentico, in particolare le prelibatezze locali, che mi hanno dato l'opportunità di comprendere profondamente il sapore culturale di Luang Prabang. The hotel was under renovations, so we were transferred to Vang Luang Hotel, which has the same owner. Vang Luang Hotel is conveniently located near several tourist attractions, making it easy to explore the area. The room was clean and spacious. However, there was no telephone in the room, so we had to go to the lobby every time we had a request or needed to speak with the receptionist, and the breakfast options were quite limited. The staff were very accommodating and helpful throughout our stay.

The garden is absolutely beautiful, peaceful, and well-maintained—our kids loved running around while we relaxed in the serene atmosphere. The location is great, just a few minutes from the town center, making it easy to explore local shops, markets, and restaurants. Despite being close to everything, the hotel still feels quiet and relaxing. The rooms were spotless, spacious, and very comfortable—clearly well taken care of. We especially appreciated the attention to detail and cleanliness. The staff are amazing—warm, attentive, and always ready to help with a smile. They made our stay even more memorable by going above and beyond for our family. And the breakfast? Simply superb! A great variety of local and international options, fresh fruits, and delicious coffee or tea’s to start the day right. Highly recommended for families or anyone looking for a cozy, garden-side stay near town!

We had a nice stay at this hotel. Room is spacious. Staff are friendly, even though we had some miscommunication about early breakfast. They kept our luggage for 2 days, which was wonderful for us to travel light dure a 2 day tour

Abbiamo avuto un soggiorno sorprendente. L'hotel è davvero nuovo. Il letto è così comodo. Cambiano sempre un po'il colazione per sempre, che è buono. Molto consigliato. Molto tranquilla, così un grande plus rispetto agli hotel rumorosi direttamente situato nel vecchio quartiere. 😄

We loved Ock Pop Top. All of the staff were so friendly and made us very welcome. Especially Mr Duan who helped us arrange a slow boat and Mr Noi and Mr Air who gave my partner lots of tips for local fishing. We only stayed 1 night but we will be coming back for sure. The grounds are beautiful and peaceful. You can learn a lot about Hmong crafts which is very interesting. The food and drink is delicious, I recommend the tamarind margaritas! The rooms are beautiful and full of eco friendly amenities like mosquito spray, shampoo, soap etc and locally crafted decor. The balcony rooms facing the Mekong are amazing. The location is out of the town centre but they offer a free shuttle service via tuk tuk, you may have to wait a while but you can relax in the bar while you wait. The sunset from the restaurant is amazing but be aware that between 5:30-6:30 the mosquitoes come out in full force! Cover up or bring the spray from your room and keep topping up.

What a find! Away from the main street although easily walkable to the night market and bars and restaurants. Carefully prepared breakfasts which we both enjoyed. Rooms are large and individually decorated, cleaned daily. Really loved the beautiful decor. Service was excellent. Any query was answered fully and suggestions for activities and restaurants given if and when required. There was a lovely pool area with beds and chairs too. All in all I would thoroughly recommend this boutique hotel for families or couples.
