The hotel is in the perfect location on Lake Louise; there are perks that only hotel guests can enjoy such as access to various areas close to the lake and pantry/restaurants during certain hours of the day. The service is very good and food at the restaurants are delicious. Kid friendly with activities and scavenger hunt to occupy kids. Expensive during peak season but worth it for comfort and convenience.

We stayed at Royal Canadian Lodge in Banff from March 26–29 with my 7-year-old daughter, and overall we had a great experience. Check-in was simple and straightforward. We arrived in the early evening, and Jason at the front desk was the most approachable and helpful hotel staff member I have ever dealt with. He remembered my daughter’s name, greeted her every day, checked in with us throughout our stay, and added little touches that made the trip feel extra special for both of us. The renovated room itself was fairly standard for a hotel room, but comfortable. Our room had two queen beds, which worked well for us. The bathroom had a shower only, with no bathtub, but that was not an issue. The pillows were big and lumpy, all 8 of the pillows in our room were too high/tall for my daughter to use comfortably. There are robes provided in the room, it would be a nice touch if they could also provide kids size robes. We had a mini fridge, coffee maker with coffee, and kettle with tea provided in the room. We ordered room service one night and tried the pulled pork poutine, which was the daily special from the restaurant. Unfortunately, it was not very good, and I would not recommend it. The TV included free cable and on-demand programming, as well as pay-per-view movies. I had brought my laptop and an HDMI cord, and we were able to connect it to the TV easily to watch our own movies. Watching on-demand, my daughter discovered The Simpsons and loved it (lol) The pool area was a big highlight for us. The pool is salt water rather than chlorine. The water itself was on the cooler side, but there was also a good-sized hot tub and a large steam room. My daughter quickly made friends with another family staying at the hotel, and the kids spent multiple hours a day in the pool together. The gym was small but functional. In the four days we were there, it was empty every time we walked by. Parking is $20 per day, which does add up. There is also free street parking behind the hotel if you are able to find a spot. One fun feature in the lobby was the robot, which the kids absolutely loved. We were told that after construction is complete, it will be delivering items to guest rooms. During our stay it moved around the lobby, told jokes, and handed out free apples. The hotel was reasonably priced compared with other options in the area. I chose it specifically for the pool setup, knowing we would be spending a lot of time there, and it worked out really well for that. Shops and restaurants on the main street were about a 10-minute walk away, or you could take the bus that stops outside the neighboring hotel for $2 per ride, with kids riding free. I would definitely stay here again in the future. The price, location, rooms, and pool make this a very family-friendly hotel option in Banff. Biggest thank you to Jason at the front desk for the spectacular service we enjoyed.

Very good location. Easy to get around. Nice view, friendly staff. Too close to the elevator, a little noisy. And the bed sheets are old and not very comfortable

The receptionist was very cheerful and the room was very clean! It is also located conveniently in Downtown Calgary. However, the temperature of the shower can be a bit tricky to adjust as it will either be too hot or too cold. But I was very satisfied overall and would recommend this hotel to fellow solo travellers!

This is my second visit this time it was perfect they renovated it since i walked in smells sooo clean and fresh the housekeeping manger sooo helpful and kind The buffet for dinner amazing Indian cuisine over all very nice experience especially at the pool

Il servizio era buono, ci diede dei biscotti caldi all'arrivo e al check-out.La piscina e le camere d' fitness erano pulite e le camere erano tese, anche se erano un po' bui da mancanza di luce. Un paio di cose da notare: le matite erano estremamente morbide (anche come qualcuno che preferisce le matite morbide), mi sentivo come se mi stavamo lentamente infilando nel pavimento. La prova sonora è anche piuttosto debole, quindi consiglio di dormire con le orecchie o potrebbe essere difficile dormire con gli ospiti che correno intorno. Una cosa da notare è che la porta balcone non era chiusa quando ci siamo accolti. Poiché siamo al settimo piano era sicuro, però la prossima volta, mi accingo a doppiare solo il caso, perché ci sono molte persone che visitano l'hotel per funzioni e eventi.

Abbiamo avuto una splendida permanenza all'aeroporto di Sheraton Cavalier Calgary. L'hotel è convenientemente vicino all'aeroporto, che ha reso il nostro giorno di viaggio molto più facile, anche se vale la pena notare che non vi è alcun servizio di navetta. Tuttavia, il commutatore veloce non è stato un problema per noi. Abbiamo apprezzato l'offerta di un'unità di stoccaggio, che è stata molto utile e rende la gestione del bagaglio molto più facile. La nostra stanza è stata nuovamente ristrutturata, pulita, moderna e molto confortevole , sicuramente, un'accento sulla nostra permanenza. In generale, ci siamo davvero divertiti qui e saremmo felici di rimanere di nuovo!

La stanza è spaziosa per 4 di noi, molto pulita e moderna. L'alloggio è molto vicino al centro, ci piaceva andare ogni giorno per esplorare il centro della città. La piscina interna è sempre occupata, e la nostra posizione è molto lontana dalla piscina, quindi non abbiamo provato la piscina, ma ero abbastanza felice di avere un tubo caldo ogni notte nella nostra camera dopo le attività. La vista dalla nostra stanza è anche bella soprattutto quando neve. L'alloggio ha un spa, un salone per capelli, un negozio di sci. Ho controllato il prezzo dei guanti nel loro negozio è molto ragionevole. Il parcheggio è molto conveniente (anche se dobbiamo pagare per questo). Il colazione è buono con un prezzo ragionevole per i bambini. Alcuni staff front desk (una donna filipina e una locale) non erano amichevoli, ma la maggior parte dei staff erano carini e utili. Controlla e controlla facilmente, hanno fornito un pre-controllo via whatsapp e ci hanno sempre controllato se abbiamo bisogno di qualcosa.

Stayed at the Holiday Inn Calgary Airport (IHG). The location is very convenient for the airport and surrounding routes, and the overall cleanliness of the property was excellent—both the rooms and common areas were well maintained. Amenities are fairly basic, so travellers expecting extensive facilities may find them somewhat limited. Unfortunately, the service was on the poorer end of the spectrum during my stay. One point future guests should be aware of: the booking information on the hotel’s website states that a deposit is required, but it does not clearly specify that this must be provided strictly via credit card. Staff indicated that this policy is standard at hotels worldwide; however, as an experienced traveller, I can confirm that many hotels do in fact accept debit cards for deposits. To avoid any issues at check-in, make sure you bring a credit card with you. Overall: great location and cleanliness, basic amenities, but service and clarity around deposit policies could certainly be improved.

We chose this hotel at random while driving down the highway. We were VERY glad that we did. The following day, we kept congratulating ourselves on the great choice. It was very easy easy to get to off the highway. But yet it was protected from the busy highway noise. The staff were absolutely 5-Star. Every single individual that we encountered, both hotel and restaurant, seemed to be genuinely friendly and professional. Specail shout-out to: Jei, Jasmeen, and Maltin. ( hopefully i got the correct names) We used the pool in the evening, and it was a surprisingly nice facility for the price of the hotel. We thoroughly enjoyed it until an excessively noisy family showed up with undisciplined kids. But that's not on the hotel. I don't know why the restaurant was empty because it was exceptionally good food and good service. Even the breakfast buffet was far above most free breakfasts that are on offer. The guestrooms were very quiet (even the a/c fan was quiet). Beds were comfortable. Good quality linens, pillows and towels. Beds were especially comfortable and seemed new. Carpet looked new. The only thing I might suggest for the rooms is that they might add a floor lamp to improve the lighting. Also, they might think about bringing up the quality of bathroom amenities to current trend in higher quality in larger affixed bottles instead of small disposables It's obvious that they're gradually upgrading an older property and haven't gotten to the hallway paint yet. But that doesn't affect the guestrooms experience. I highly recommend this property.
