Canada: hotel con bar nella provincia di Alberta

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The room facing the lake was truly magical. The staff were the icing on the cake, they were extremely warm and hospitable. Even provided my fiancee and I a gift as we had shared that we had just gotten engaged earlier that day.

Il posto era molto pulito, inclusi gli asciugamani. La dimensione era grande 👍 Il letto era eccellente, il letto era molto grande e le strutture per la doccia erano anche fantastiche. Tuttavia, sono stati sollevati diversi problemi gravi: 1. L'odore della rigenerazione era molto forte. 2. Il riscaldamento in camera era costantemente in funzione, molto rumoroso, e non poteva essere spenta, rendendo impossibile dormire. 3. Poiché il riscaldamento era sempre in funzione, il letto divenne troppo caldo per dormire confortevolmente.

The location is accessible to different public transport which is convenient for solo travellers. Also, it is in the middle of downtown area where restaurants and major establishments are located. Overall, chateau Lacombe is a good hotel to stay if you are planning to go in Edmonton.

This is my second visit this time it was perfect they renovated it since i walked in smells sooo clean and fresh the housekeeping manger sooo helpful and kind The buffet for dinner amazing Indian cuisine over all very nice experience especially at the pool

Perfetto soggiorno, spazio pulito, comodo letto re enorme, amiche donne del front desk per check-in e check-out, bagni da crab & evelyn odore davvero buono, asciugamani, specchio a lunghezza piena, scatola di sicurezza, macchina da caffè ecc tutto in. I cookie sono gratis al check-in e sono così sveglio e tempestivo. Risposta reattiva al email, ha tenuto la stanza per noi per il super check-in tardi. Parcheggio gratuito, entro 15 minuti di auto all'aeroporto di Calgary. Offre anche la navetta a $5. Seconda volta rimanere e sarà sempre il nostro andare quando voliamo! Trip.com offre il miglior prezzo dopo le monete fuori, grande!

Overall it was a decent stay here. Pros: -Clean room with comfortable beds -Shower had lots of hot water and good water pressure. -nice clean waterpark with helpful and friendly attendant who did not rush us at the end of the night when our young kiddo was dragging his feet to avoid having to leave - heated pools and 2 water slides made the hotel more appealing for us with having our kids along Cons: - the waterpark slides did not have enough of an angle so we couldn’t get down the slides with out having to propel ourselves at times which was odd but also nearly comical -tiny rooms especially for the price. It felt a bit cramped with the limited furniture and the kids on pull out sofa. - the bathroom door provided zero privacy from the rest of the room with no sound barrier, plus it had a “frosted” glass panel as the main part of the door so it was completely see through, and was a tiny bathroom. - no in room microwave so we missed out on being able to heat up leftover takeout from our trip to help us keep costs down and reduce waste unless my husband went hunting for one to use on the main floor, but that was quite a hike when we are on 4th floor so food was cooled right down by the time it made it back to our room. - ordering from the menu at the onsite breakfast restaurant was expensive and the food was quite disappointing. My kids seemed to enjoy the breakfast buffet at least which was free for 5 & under at least.

Ottimo hotel! Ci ho soggiornato molte volte nel corso degli anni! Inoltre, i proprietari hanno apportato grandi miglioramenti con la recente ristrutturazione. Ottima posizione, ma gestione scadente (ecco perché ho dato un punteggio basso). Il bar dell'hotel è chiuso da un po' di tempo, ma non era specificato al momento della prenotazione! Siamo in una località sciistica e noi viaggiavamo in un gruppo numeroso (4 camere) con persone di età diverse, inclusi adolescenti e bambini, quindi un bar in hotel è fondamentale per noi! Il fatto che il bar principale fosse chiuso e che non fosse possibile consumare drink après-ski avrebbe dovuto essere specificato. Francamente, sono in vacanza e senza un bar funzionante/aperto avrei prenotato altrove! Sono stato informato via email solo dopo la scadenza del periodo di cancellazione gratuita, il che significa che perderò i soldi se cancello e, soprattutto, avrò difficoltà a trovare un'altra sistemazione! L'ho scoperto solo dopo aver ricevuto un'email dall'hotel diverse settimane prima di fare il check-in! Quando ho segnalato il problema alla direzione via e-mail, mi è stato comunicato che l'area bar era stata spostata al ristorante. Ho detto che questo non era accettabile e che la chiusura del bar avrebbe dovuto essere segnalata al momento della prenotazione... mi è stata data la risposta di cui sopra, mi sono state fatte delle scuse e poi sono stato ignorato! Non è l'ideale, dato che il ristorante non è un bar; inoltre, era piuttosto strano bere qualcosa al piano di sopra, soprattutto quando arrivavano diverse persone per cena o il ristorante iniziava ad allestire il buffet. La direzione ha offerto un buono ad alcuni membri del mio gruppo, ma non a me, e ha semplicemente ignorato la mia segnalazione. Davvero un peccato! Non voglio però sminuire gli aspetti positivi dell'hotel, quindi vorrei elogiare: 1) il personale della reception, sempre gentile e sorridente; 2) il personale delle pulizie, ottimo lavoro; 3) il personale del ristorante, cordiale e sorridente (nonostante la difficoltà di gestire un cosiddetto bar e ristorante nello stesso luogo); 4) la splendida piscina ristrutturata.

Stayed at the Holiday Inn Calgary Airport (IHG). The location is very convenient for the airport and surrounding routes, and the overall cleanliness of the property was excellent—both the rooms and common areas were well maintained. Amenities are fairly basic, so travellers expecting extensive facilities may find them somewhat limited. Unfortunately, the service was on the poorer end of the spectrum during my stay. One point future guests should be aware of: the booking information on the hotel’s website states that a deposit is required, but it does not clearly specify that this must be provided strictly via credit card. Staff indicated that this policy is standard at hotels worldwide; however, as an experienced traveller, I can confirm that many hotels do in fact accept debit cards for deposits. To avoid any issues at check-in, make sure you bring a credit card with you. Overall: great location and cleanliness, basic amenities, but service and clarity around deposit policies could certainly be improved.

We chose this hotel at random while driving down the highway. We were VERY glad that we did. The following day, we kept congratulating ourselves on the great choice. It was very easy easy to get to off the highway. But yet it was protected from the busy highway noise. The staff were absolutely 5-Star. Every single individual that we encountered, both hotel and restaurant, seemed to be genuinely friendly and professional. Specail shout-out to: Jei, Jasmeen, and Maltin. ( hopefully i got the correct names) We used the pool in the evening, and it was a surprisingly nice facility for the price of the hotel. We thoroughly enjoyed it until an excessively noisy family showed up with undisciplined kids. But that's not on the hotel. I don't know why the restaurant was empty because it was exceptionally good food and good service. Even the breakfast buffet was far above most free breakfasts that are on offer. The guestrooms were very quiet (even the a/c fan was quiet). Beds were comfortable. Good quality linens, pillows and towels. Beds were especially comfortable and seemed new. Carpet looked new. The only thing I might suggest for the rooms is that they might add a floor lamp to improve the lighting. Also, they might think about bringing up the quality of bathroom amenities to current trend in higher quality in larger affixed bottles instead of small disposables It's obvious that they're gradually upgrading an older property and haven't gotten to the hallway paint yet. But that doesn't affect the guestrooms experience. I highly recommend this property.
