Islanda: hotel con internet nella provincia di Suðurland

Stayed at The Fox Hostel from Nov 23–24, 2025. The facilities were clean and well maintained, and the staff was very kind and helpful. We were lucky enough to see the northern lights, and the room was spacious enough for two people. Siamo davvero delusi dal soggiorno dell'Aurora Igloo, perché non ha detto che non c'è un bagno all'interno della stanza. Dobbiamo camminare per 100 metri fuori per ottenere il bagno, perché l'inverno è così freddo e ventoso nel dicembre. Inoltre, il riscaldamento dell'hotel non funziona molto bene, quindi non siamo rimasti per la seconda notte. Dopo aver parlato con il proprietario, dice che possiamo ricevere il rimborso della mia carta. Grazie.

The room is small and lacks things like a litter bin, a hot water kettle, and a desk. Stayed in a triple room with 3 single beds. Good thing is that we can use their restaurant microwave for ramen. So come here with all the food you can bring.

Amazing stay, shame that we didn't get the chance to enjoy the hot tub. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

The accommodation was fine. The accommodation was spacious, especially the bathroom, which had a countertop, which was useful for spreading all my cosmetics out! The place itself isn't a tourist destination, but it was very handy. There was supermarket nearby and petrol station and not far from the main road. Handy for the Flo nature reserve if you're into birdwatching. The coastline there is impressive. Big waves Or handy if you want to visit Reykjavik, which we did for the evening. (45 minute drive?). I didn't score so highly on service because there isn't any service as such. There were also no additional facilities other than the room and ensuite, which was fine. Parking is out the front and was plentiful. We stayed in mid-May and it was fortunately very quiet. We did arrive early, and were pleased to be allowed in to our rooms, so really appreciated that. Love this hotel very much. Except the breathtaking view is true to the pictures online, also the attentive service from the reception and housekeeping. Dinner at the hotel is suggested reserving first(they sent email to remind me to do so) and the food and the waitress is nice. They also have a snack bar and swimsuits for purchase. The room design and color tone is really relaxing and functional. The hot tubs outside is so good not only for photos but also for soothing and relaxing the body. Recommend for staying 1-2 nights here during the whole trip.

Tutto è grande con il posto. Vorremmo avere più tempo per godere dell'ambiente. Mi sentivo come un lussuoso posto per rimanere dentro. C'era una cucina con tutti gli utensili necessari per cucinare e abbiamo fatto salmone fritto. Utensili da cucina sono nuovi e molto puliti. Sacchetto di spazzatura extra con sale, pepe e anche olio di cucina. Si consiglia molto questo posto se si può permetterlo.

Very interesting experience staying here. Sharing the dorm with 8 other people. Very crowded with everyone bringing huge luggage bag. But other than that, all amenities are good and the vibe is very nice too
