It’s a nice boutique hotel and with welcoming staffs. The food is good esp the curry, excellent. The room size is perfect but the toilet is a bit too small. But well, it’s obvious nth we can do with that.

Stayed at The Fox Hostel from Nov 23–24, 2025. The facilities were clean and well maintained, and the staff was very kind and helpful. We were lucky enough to see the northern lights, and the room was spacious enough for two people. I would definitely love to stay here again.. 2025.11.23 비크에서 요쿨살론 & 다이아몬드비치 가는중에 the fox hoste 에서 하루를 묵었고, 시설이 깨끗하게 운영되고 있고, 주변에 빛이 많이 없어 오로라를 보기에 좋음. 데스크에서 안내하시는 분도 매우 친절함.

Hôtel bien situé, facile à trouver. Check in à l’islandaise : vous recevez le numéro de chambre et le code par mail. Chambre petite mais confortable. Restaurant très bon avec vue sur le lac. Le seul bémol : petit déjeuner jusqu’à 10h mais à 9h30 le personnel vide le buffet…dommage pour les lève tards.

We are really disappointed at the stay of the Aurora Igloo as it didn’t mention that there’s no toilet inside the room. We have to walk for 100m outside to get the bathroom as the winter is so cold and windy in December. Moreover, the hotel heater isn’t working really well, so we didn’t stay for the second night. As we have spoken to the owner, he says that we are able to receive refund in to my card. Thank you.

Love this hotel very much. Except the breathtaking view is true to the pictures online, also the attentive service from the reception and housekeeping. Dinner at the hotel is suggested reserving first(they sent email to remind me to do so) and the food and the waitress is nice. They also have a snack bar and swimsuits for purchase. The room design and color tone is really relaxing and functional. The hot tubs outside is so good not only for photos but also for soothing and relaxing the body. Recommend for staying 1-2 nights here during the whole trip.

Breakfast is extraordinary . The room is very clean and tidy . Receptionist is very helpful . Though only one to two restaurants around . Quite a lot people use the hot tubs outside . Best place if you travel on Golden circle and stay at night !

Questa volta, l'esperienza generale è molto soddisfatta.Il punto più luminoso dell'hotel è l'ambiente e l'atmosfera. Il paesaggio circostante è molto bello. Dà alla gente un senso di silenzio e rilassamento. È adatto per un buon riposo durante il viaggio. Il design generale dell'hotel è molto caratteristico, non il tipo di alloggio comune e unico, che può far sentire le persone diverse esperienze di soggiorno.La stanza è pulita e pulita, la struttura è calda, il letto è comodo e dopo il soggiorno può ovviamente sentire l'intenzione dell'hotel sui dettagli.
