The apartment was okay. The faucets in the shower were hard to set for the right temperature with the hot water. It was too hot or too cold and if one doesn't want to be burned, one has to have a weak flow of water. If I increased the flow the water was scorching hot. The apartments was a studio with a bed, chairs, kitchen, fully loaded with dishes, silverware. The closet space was fine and over all the place was it very clean. It is good for two people. The problem was the communication regarding the check-in process. It was not at the apartments, but on the other side of the street on the rear at the Alto Andino Hotel and to get there one has to walk about 200 feet to the corner, make a left for a 300 feet walk up a steep hill, then make another left for an additional walk of 250 feet. The walk is not a problem, but not with a 50lb duffel bag and a 19lb carry-on. If I had been told about this, I would have asked the Uber driver to take me to the Alto Andino Hotel for check-in and I would have asked the driver to wait for me to take me to the Vela apartments. Instead the Uber driver dropped me at the La Vela apts. and I was outside the apartments with my luggage, knocking at the door waiting and hoping for someone to open the door. I tried to call the number of the La Vela apts. listed on the email reservation, but I got a message from the cell service stating the number was a not working number. After about a half hour waiting, a guest of the apartments that was returning from breakfast told me about the ckeck-in issue, he also stated that he had the same problem. When I complained to the receptionist of the Alto Andino hotel, a guy, he just didn't say anything at all, he didn't even say the reason the phone didn't work. To enter the apartments, one has to key in a code. The next day management changed the code and I was not informed, so I couldn't get in the building. I tried to call the La Vela apts. at the number listed on the paper work I got at the time of check-in the day before, but no one answered the phone!!! I had to walk to the Alto Andino Hotel, I complained to the same guy that checked me in the day before, he just gave me the new combination and said that he was busy checking-in other guests, so he couldn't answer the phone. If one wants to have breakfast, one has to pay an additional $10, and it's at the Alto Andino Hotel. The breakfast was okay. The only problem was that both the coffee and the hot water for the tea were cold.

The hotel seems brand new: rooms are spacious, comfortable (the bed in particular) with all the facilities required, bedrooms' furniture is new and luxurious. I loved the warm feeling experienced in the way back to the hotel after a long day out in the cold. There's a 20% discount if you eat in the on-site restaurant and they also do room service. 24/7 reception, kind staff and nice breakfast. The cleaning service was perfect. Just a few suggestions: I would have appreciated bacon in the morning. The bread served for dinner is very dry, seems old. WiFi very slow in peak hours. All in all, a great experience.

Abbiamo trovato l'appartamento 709, è per 2 persone. Ha la stanza nel sottosuolo e è ampio e confortevole, non avresti bisogno di un supporto bagagli perché non entra nel pannello e la lasceremo in alto nella cucina stella, sul sedile. Il bagno è in linea con l'appartamento. La cucina e i piccoli oggetti (caffettiera, tostapane, pannolini elettrici e microonde) ben e facile da usare. Il riscaldamento sia per radiatori che per pavimento radiante un po 'alto, abbiamo dovuto aprire una finestra perché non si può regolare ... Per coloro che vanno in auto o in affitto auto ha una macchina, ma si può lasciare in strada che c'è posto. Ci piaceva il posto e lo consigliamo.

Stayed here for 4 nights. When we arrived we decided to run a bath. Unfortunately the drain in the bathroom flooded the apartment, but were moved to another one floor above and thankfully had no issues at all. The apartments are modern and well equipped. We had a balcony with a beautiful view.

Ottimo livello di alloggio. Noi noleggiamo un appartamento con 2 camere da letto, due bagni completi (una suite con vestito), cucina completa e soggiorno. Molto buona posizione a 150 metri dalla strada principale e a 6 strade del porto. Prezzo accessibile in relazione al servizio offerto. Molto ben attrezzato. Ampie possibilità di noleggio in termini di numero di passeggeri (appartamento fino a 8 persone). Grazie Ignicio.

La estadía realmente es un apartamento completo con todas las comodidades, es amplio, con calefacción y cocina completa. Está muy bien ubicado, cerca de supermercados, restaurantes y caminando 10 minutos a lugares importantes como museos y el muelle. Destaco la excelente amabilidad del personal de recepción, nos atendieron de forma muy atenta y nos guiaron muy amablemente sobre la zona, incluso tuvimos un problema con el vuelo y nos permitieron quedarnos 1 hora mas y cuidar un rato nuestro equipaje. En área de mejora es el tiempo de disposición de la recepción, está abierta solo cuando llegan huéspedes fuera de eso se mantiene cerrada, nosotros tuvimos una emergencia la noche anterior y no teníamos servicio de recepción que nos ayudara, el otro punto es que por la ubicación de las suites en la noche si es un poco bullicioso porque cerca hay una calle principal que es transitada, sin embargo, es manejable el sonido. En general recomiendo 100% esta estadía en Ushuaia.
