Ciao ragazzi, anche se non è un hotel di lusso, vista mare, a pochi passi dalla spiaggia di Ao Nang, ma NE VALE LA PENA perché hai una tariffa conveniente, facile accesso a negozi, tuktuk e controlla le foto che ho allegato di un mini stand con cartello ”affitto moto” che la zia ci ha aiutato molto.
Innanzitutto abbiamo pianificato da soli questo viaggio, il trasporto e tutto il resto. Quindi dalla stazione degli autobus abbiamo preso un taxi tuk tuk che è costato 60 baht a persona per circa 45 minuti. Ma questo posto è vicino a molti altri ristoranti e centri massaggi.
L'hotel ti fornisce un asciugamano gratuito separato se vai dalle attività in piscina o in spiaggia. Forniscono anche degli snack poiché era il CNY e hanno preparato dei biscotti. Hanno anche pane tostato, marmellata, burro ecc. per prenderne un po' prima di uscire. Stavamo trascorrendo tutto il nostro tempo fuori, quindi siamo tornati in camera solo per dormire e fare la doccia.
Ok, torniamo al mini stand, per favore noleggia una moto da lei, offre solo 200 bhat al giorno con 1500 di deposito, a differenza di altri posti che sono costosi. Inoltre è a solo 1 minuto di distanza dal resort, proprio prima dell'ingresso. E per favore prova il pasto. Non sottovalutare, ho effettivamente mangiato il loro riso Tomyum, ha un sapore paradisiaco. Ne vale assolutamente la pena. È il posto migliore. Ci siamo goduti il nostro viaggio a Krabi e le strade di Ao Nang sono sempre nel nostro cuore. Tanto amore all'Ao Nang Miti Resort per l'alloggio.

Zona molto bella e tranquilla. Un po' lontano dai negozi, ma perfetto se si vuole rilassarsi. Per me l'aria condizionata era troppo rumorosa. Ma il personale è super gentile. Se non vi dà fastidio il rumore di tutti i condizionatori, è perfetto.

The conditions could be compared to hostel. The bathroom was very small with opened shower so water was all around, even on the door. Our towels had holes and bad smell. There was no kettle in the room and I had issues charging my phone, power socket was probably damaged. However, the bed was big and ok, WiFi worked fine as well as air conditioning.

The accommodation is located in an alley off the main road, about 100 meters in, so there is no noise from passing cars. The rooms are new, very clean, and spacious. There is a kitchen and a washing machine available for free. Access is controlled by a key card specific to the accommodation, which seems safe. When you walk out to the main road, there are restaurants and convenience stores.
The staff provided excellent service. You can ask for details about nearby tourist attractions, and they offer shuttle services. Personally, we had the accommodation arrange a tour to pick us up and take us to the island. It was a relaxing day trip since we only stayed for one night.

We enjoyed our stay at Isara Lanta Beach Resort! It is a nice simple bungalow style hotel directly on the beach. They serve German food which was good but the prices in general are quite high for the food and drinks.
The only thing to complain in the room is the bathroom. The concept of the shower doesn’t really work because the whole bathroom is getting flooded and the wooden door is completely rotten. The bed is ok but quite hard.

Large, clean, good breakfast, close to the river and to river night market, as well as city night market and mall. I’ve read complaints about the staff somewhere. They are not going to be your nannies. They do their jobs effectively and that’s it. There’s nothing to complain about, this is not a 5-star hotel and we all know it. If anything, the air was too cold in the room.

MmarkThis is a riverside hotel with a cafe/bistro on the 5th floor, and is about 500m from Krabi town. Rooms are nicely appointed. Air-conditioning is very effective, bed is super comfortable, WiFi signal is steady and secure and the bathroom has ample space. Comes with a balcony, wood wardrobe, table and chair, as well as refrigerator. Good value for only $27 AUD per day.

UUtente ospiteThe room amazed me the second the manager, Wind, who is the younger brother of the proprietor, Mr. Sunny, opened its door to me. With a refreshing Thai scent spreading from within, the room whose original two single beds had been combined into a big one for a solo traveler under my presumptuous request totally captivated me. It had a nice patio where I could put my feet up after a hot day out to the beach in the broiling sun. Wind also recommended me to go to what he considered as a must try restaurant and bar. He got me a scooter to which I only had to pay half overdue price on the last day because I forgot the time and couldn’t make it from the farthest beach, Bamboo Beach, on the island. His assistant, Shu, was shy and nice. One day I mistakenly bought two eggs that were light boiled, if not raw. She, without a second thought, helped me save my breakfast protein source. The proprietress, Ms. Ning, got me some pizza and bread she and her husband seemingly practiced making in the bistro kitchen next door. I would definitely book a room with breakfast next time if they planned to reopen after the Covid outbreak. In short, the hotel, just like its name, truly made feel at home; the owner and the staff, including the cat, Member, were terribly good and generous people. I will be terribly missing them. Of course I will go back to Koh Lanta in the future, and of course,Lanta at Home will be my one and only choice.
PS. See you soon, Wind. Nice talking to you. You are a fun soul. Say hi to Shu and Mr. Sunny and Ms. Ning and the children.

UUtente ospiteWas given the beachfront unit next to the resort’s restaurant and just in front of the dining area.
1) IMPORTANT
- I had booked the room under Palm Resort Krabi. However the driver and myself could not locate the resort as there was no signage! I realised later that Palm Resort was also Bliss Resort as they both shared the same address. It seems that the beachfront units are booked under Palm Resort, while the non-beachfront units are booked under Bliss Resort.
2) WHAT’S GOOD
- Room is clean.
- The bed is big and comfortable. There’s also a day sofa which is good for sleeping.
- The bathroom has an attached dressing room.
- Useful amenities such as a safe, fridge, hairdryer, beach bag for a day out, mineral water, drink sachets, toiletries, plenty of power points.
- Spacious verandah with lounge chairs. Great for lounging and enjoying the night.
- I also enjoyed listening to the sound of the waves as I laid in bed at night as the seawater is just a few metres away when it’s high tide.
- Many restaurants and convenience stores around the area!
3) NOT SO GOOD
- The dining area is just in front of the unit so you can might hear some muffled conversations and music. But it wasn’t too bad.
- There are gaps around the wooden framed glass doors and a few mosquitoes can get in. Come prepared with a repellent plug-in for the room. The resort staff will also provide a spray if you ask.
- The bed is directly opposite the doors, so you have to keep the curtains drawn fully.

UUtente ospiteMeraviglioso rifugio in una zona tranquilla di Phi Phi, vicino alla montagna con viste mozzafiato... a pochi passi dal molo... Avevo un bungalow sulla spiaggia con una vista meravigliosa sull'oceano e sulla spiaggia privata. Camera semplice ma premurosa, letto comodo con molti cuscini, biancheria da letto Lux, aria condizionata, bagno con doccia, tutto pulito e accogliente. Terrazza con vista sull'oceano. Personale amichevole. Il miglior soggiorno!

WWanderingIrEhSThe location was central at Ao Nang town centre area. But taxi drivers would usually get confused as there’s another place called J mansion which is different from J hotel. It’s a small place but decent to sleep or stay at for a few days in Ao Nang. The place is somehow clean but still needs improvement.
The pro though was they have upgraded our room to a king bed. It was somehow comfortable & clean, the room was also spacious enough. So grateful for that.
Downside was there’s no view from the room & no elevators, only stairs & there were no male staff to help us lift our luggage to the room. They were also strict with the check-out time. Staff need to smile more and be more friendlier to tourists though.
Good thing there’s a laundry service for a fee. And hotel is too close to the shops and restaurants, tours, etc., only walking distance. Hotel also offers their own tours but we book our tours already elsewhere for a good discount.
Overall, if you’re on a budget, I think this place is somehow okay to stay with for a few days in Ao Nang.
