The motel6 in fancy gap Virginia is a home 🏡 away from home. Spacious rooms, ice cold 🥶 a/c during the summer 🌞🏝️ HOT 🥵🔥 heat during the winter ❄️☃️ quiet and relaxing awaits!!! Very peaceful and quiet 🤫🤐. Incredibly comfortable beds. Everything in the room works flawlessly, and even our dog 🐕 enjoyed his little space! Conveniently located next to a circle ⭕ K gas ⛽ station, so filling up is a breeze and getting back on the highway is literally right there. It has everything you need! Even has a great restaurant down the road 🛣️ called Pitstop! Food is amazing and tasty 😋 I highly recommend both the motel6 and Pitstop is a must! My wife and I and our dog 🐕🐾 enjoyed our time here and we look forward to visiting the area again! Make it a destination for you one day, you won't regret it!

This location is conveniently located right off the interstate. The room is about what you would expect for a budget hotel except it is in need of serious upgrades. There was a huge hole in the wall of our room and numerous things needed to be fixed and repaired (cosmetic). The bed was clean and comfortable except for the pillows which were too bulky to sleep on. I used a towel for a pillow. Also there was a very loud vehicle running outside (sounded like a generator) until midnight. Not that this is the hotel’s fault but just shows the type of clientele. There weren’t very many vehicles there when we stayed. There are 3 other hotels in the same area (Wyngate, Comfort Inn, and one other that I can’t remember.)

This was a nice facility, with some minor maintenance issues that needed attention. Lexie, on the front desk was lovely and welcoming when we arrived. The room was clean and the facility was easy to find. Our room AC was wonky. Though adequately cool, it never got to seriously AC cold. I'm sure they would have fixed it but we were in and out of the room so much we didn't want to ask for a fix when we weren't there. Same thing with the blinds/shades. There was a blind on the window, but it was see-through (something I realized when we got back late at night and I could see into the ground-floor rooms!). They had controls for room darkening shades, but they didn't actually exist, nor were there curtains to draw so the room was super-light in the morning. No sleeping in for us! The bathroom was nice and clean with plenty of towels and amenities. The bed was comfy and we got a good nights' sleep.

UUtente ospiteIn pics and in person the modern fresh room style is appealing though the functionality is sub-par. An example: one night table was a solid piece, no drawer or shelf with the top diameter much smaller than my laptop. Typically, a phone (use as an alarm), a bottle of water and an iPad , e-reader or book/magazine would be on a nightstand. Whoops, no room for all that and the slick surface made me nervous to leave my iPad on it. The open closet is fine, especially for me as I don't hang or put clothes in a drawer, but the only space available that wasn't in the bathroom is directly below where one would hang their clothes and right above the fridge. This could make it a perfect spot for a soft sided cooler, but this relatively small space (didn't measure, maybe 14”x20” with Keurig-style coffee maker already on it) is where one might set snacks, extra sodas, the cereal one brings because they like to eat the same thing every day and need a spot to set their cereal bowl while grabbing milk out of fridge right below. Not sure about you, but I'm not terribly comfortable putting food & dishes in the bathroom. Unfortunately, that is where my coffee maker needed to go (if I'm remembering correctly) the outlets where not accessible so Mr. Nespresso did need to go in the bathroom.
Bathroom shower had some mold around the caulk area, otherwise serviceable. Not a horrible room overall, but not as nice as other similarly priced nearby chains so I'll stick to those.

BBE ABROADABLE - Nat the ExpatAVVERO: mi hanno detto al checkout ieri che avrei ricevuto il mio deposito $50 di nuovo alla sera. Poi hanno detto in 3 giorni. Ora stanno dicendo in 5 giorni. Il doccia si svuota in tutto il pavimento, e ci sono ruggine in tutto il tetto e le cose si sono spinte in gap per evitare le fughe.
La porta non è affatto sicura, e la catena di lancio potrebbe essere spezzata solo se qualcuno spinge duramente alla porta.
Stoffe di sangue (o almeno quello che sembrava essere) sul cortile, che avevano anche una grande riga in esso.
PROS: nessun bug e ci siamo sentiti sicuri. If in a pinch, we’d stay again because it was cheap (if I GET MY DEPOSIT Return, that is. Otherwise it’s not cheap) People at the hotel were friendly, I just hope they’re not lying about giving my deposit back 😂
Il pranzo era di cereali, pane, segale, uova e salsa, e un produttore di waffle. Non sembrava niente di fresco, non mangiamo molto.

UUtente ospiteOlder Motel 6 located right where I needed to be. Management doing their best to offer a clean, safe, comfortable overnight stay. This was a budget price and I did not expect any luxury. Room was neat and clean, laminate wood floors throughout including bathroom. Fixtures modern and clean, had excellent hot water and although the volume reduced when other rooms came on the temperature stayed hot. Platform beds pretty spartan but easier to keep clean and I saw no signs of bedbugs. This place filled up slam full on Saturday night with not an open room. Parking lot full with camera coverage, people I met staying were friendly and courteous - EVERYONE wants a safe clean place to stay. Free WiFi and lobby coffee pot in the morning. I expect due to my bargain rate hunt with Trip I was assigned a second story room smack in the middle between stairs - had to carry all my motorcycle luggage the furthest possible distance to my room. I bet if I paid a few dollars more I might have earned a ground floor, but I am cheap LOL. Management trying their best, and would gladly stay again! Room 206

UUtente ospiteOttimo luogo! Se stai cercando un luogo centrale da cui potrai esplorare Lynchburg, questo è il tuo posto. Non riesco a credere quanto tutto fosse vicino a questo luogo. Averete Kroger, Cookout, Liberty University, il Riviera Ridge Mall, Walmart, Target, e un intero numero di siti a 5 minuti di auto dall'ubicazione. Inoltre, l'hotel è vicino all'accesso a 501 destinazioni a Forest o centro di Lynchburg. È stato inoltre fornito colazione (uova scrambled, waffles, sausages, bagels, muffins, toast, cereali e latte). Ma la migliore caratteristica della struttura era la cortesia, la considerazione e l’aiuto del personale, e Steve, in particolare, era molto consapevole della zona e ha dato consigli utili su dove trovare i pasti che appartengono alla mia dieta limitata. UUtente ospiteSolo trascorso la notte. Arrivato alle 6 e esce alle 11:00. Esce un po' presto. Spero almeno per mezzogiorno. Il programma di navetta è terribile. Picchie ore non ci sono servizi di navetta. Penso che il lato più è solo 10 o così minuti a piedi al metro.
Il pranzo è solo meh.Vengono con la stanza, ma non si può alzarsi e scendere.
Il check in (precedentemente) è stato bello. Penso che si possa ottenere una migliore prenotazione direttamente con l'hotel.
Resterò ancora se in zona.
