LLeCobbAs a backpacker, the journey to the hotel was challenging. I chose this one because it was the closest to Hakusan-Hoko Temple, which I absolutely had to see for its magnificent three-story pagoda and all its surroundings.
Arriving from Aomori, I couldn't leave until after 4 p.m. Having not paid attention, I discovered that there are very few buses between Suwanotaira Station and the hotel, the last one leaving at 5:30 p.m. So, I decided to walk with my 25 kg packs. Walking in the dark through the forest with my small flashlight, I heard a dog barking incessantly near a farm. Suddenly, there was a loud noise in a tree: a bear came down very quickly and started growling. I was terrified, stepped back, and used a bell to scare it away. This happened a five-minute walk from the hotel.
The receptionist was surprised but took my story seriously, asking me for the exact location. I hadn't eaten since morning, and despite the kitchens being closed, she offered to make me onigiri and sake. They were the best I've had since arriving in Japan.
I particularly enjoyed the hotel's onsen for relaxing after the long walk. It was my first time sleeping in a traditional Japanese room, and I loved the experience. Kimonos are available in all sizes.
Thinking I could finally go to sleep peacefully, my phone received two national alerts. I had barely started reading them when a major earthquake struck. The entire room began to shake. I was worried because I had never experienced anything like it before. The alarms in my room and throughout the hotel started going off. The receptionist came to me several times to check if I was alright and to tell me not to use the elevator. The cleaning staff also came to check if the water was turned off in my bathroom. The alarms went off again at 6:00 a.m. and then 8:00 a.m.
The receptionist came to my room to offer to drive me to the temple free of charge, something I had originally planned to do on foot, and then to take me from the temple to Hachinohe Station, because due to the earthquake, all trains between Suwanotaira and Hachinohe Stations had been canceled, as well as the Shinkansen trains departing from Hachinohe that I was originally supposed to take to Tsuruoka.
I am extremely grateful for the support and kindness of the receptionist. She took care of me without me even asking. Thanks also to Yukuri Okobo for her kindness and for driving me to the temple and then to Hachinohe Station.
Despite these very unusual circumstances, I highly recommend this hotel! You couldn't ask for a better welcome as a foreigner, and the rooms and onsen are superb! Arigatō Gozaimasu! 😊

MMDevThis hostel is conveniently located near Lake Towada. It can be easily accessed from the JR bus station. There is a convenience store at about 100 meters of distance from the hostel. The building is a bit outdated and the facilities look old. But please remember that this is a hostel and is affordable. The staff are extremely polite and welcoming. They have a big heart and serve with their full sincerity. When I reached the hostel early, there was nobody at the front desk, but there was a note for me with my room details. Later at night, When I mentioned that I do not eat meat, and I will manage with only rice, the lady, Ms. Tomoko quickly prepared fish without even thinking twice and asked me to pay very little. Even the next day she prepared cold noodles along with rice and charged extremely less. The point here is not the money but her big heart in serving without thinking about money or profit. I highly recommend this hostel purely by considering at the generosity and sweet, politeness of the staff there.
This hostel is conveniently located even to walk along Oirase gorge. Easier to stay here and take bus to either to the northern end - Yakeyama or the southern, lake side end Nenokuchi and walk along the gorge and return back to the hostel. This way the trip becomes affordable and easier.

OO.K. MACLa mia prima notte in Giappone 2024. In un conteo lontano. Molto pacifica.
Io guidavo lì da solo nell'oscurità, pensando che ci fossero poche persone.
Ma ho incontrato tanti nonni che rimase li' come un gruppo grande. Li ho incontrati anche in faccia. Molto strano esperienza, ma molto toccante. Posso sentire la società invecchiata.
I ragazze ryokan mi hanno prenotato anche un locale isakaya, quindi ho cenato facilmente, non c'è bisogno di essere nervosi non ci sarà un posto.
La stanza era così grande e bella.Molte camere nascoste all'interno.
Sarebbe molto meglio se non avessero preparato acqua di ghiaccio per me durante l'inverno iniziale. (Ho bisogno di acqua normale temperata o acqua calda)

Amo questo posto. Molto relax e nessun turista.
Ho passato la mattina in un piccolo giardino davanti all'hotel, ascolta il suono dell'acqua, mi sono ricariccato l'energia.

UUtente ospiteLa mia principale ragione per andare a Ajigasawa è stata di visitare il santuario Takayama Inari con le sue serpenti porte Tori.
Questo ryokan è stato trovato da recensioni nel quartiere. Era un getto tra questo e l'hotel vicino, che sembra essere gestito dallo stesso gruppo!
Il ryokan mostra la sua età. Ma è molto comodo, pulito e il servizio, soprattutto da Noro che ha usato la sua app di traduzione così bene, è stato impeccabile! Hanno mappa della proprietà in inglese.
Se bevi (alcol), è disponibile in spade! Ci sono senza limiti snacks, acqua, soda, popsicles, caffè, tè e alcol per gli ospiti.
Il mento è aperto al pubblico, sembrava che l'intera villaggio scendesse dopo cena per avere un dip!
Abbiamo trascorso una notte: cena e colazione erano eccellenti!

UUtente anonimo畢竟是比較老的酒店了，而且也是為了儘量節省開支的臨時一晚住宿，入住前就有心理準備。所以實際住下來倒是沒有覺得多麼的不好。正常的老式酒店狀態。
距離JR站稍微有點兒距離，步行10～15分鐘左右。樓下有超市，馬路斜對面也有711。
衞生方面還是可以的，除了沙發有點陳年污漬，反正也不用沙發，就還好。住的是吸煙房，但沒什麼煙味。衞生間有一點點類似於雨天的衣服沒曬乾ou了的味道，畢竟老酒店了嘛。收拾得還是乾淨的。就是確實比較小。
工作人員接待正常，入住前存放的行李後來也幫我提前搬到了房間。晚上還有免費咖喱或者牛肉飯。份量不大但蠻好吃的（要注意供應時段）。早晨的menu很可愛～前台在4樓，前台旁是飯廳、也有免費咖啡機，和青森地圖呀、推薦的店鋪等等情報訊息。
雖然是短暫的入住，且是比較有年頭的酒店，感受上還是覺得可以的。僅供參考。

UUtente ospiteThe onsen and breakfast were both incredible! Breakfast was buffet style with Japanese style food and lots of different drinks. I went to the onsen both when I checked in (closes at midnight) and then again in the morning before breakfast. What a treat! Staff were also very nice! The location is phenomenal as well as it's close to the station and main attractions.
Some people have said that the bed and pillows are a bit hard, but personally like it better this way as it's healthier for my back. Room is a bit older style and kind of small but I was just sleeping there anyway and so it was fine
Would definitely stay again!

^^Ki@Controllare il servizio di desk front è gentile e paziente. La stanza è pulita e molto grande rispetto all'hotel a Tokyo. Fornisce strutture pulite del corpo in bagno e toilette. Inoltre, possiamo godere di tè e caffè in lobby. Ma una cosa pessima è che l'hotel è lontano dalla stazione JR, si trova a 20 minuti a piedi, un po' lontano e porta un bagaglio in bulk.

Durante la nostra prenotazione, non c'è alcun commento da trip.com, ma abbiamo visto la posizione e le recensioni del sito web dell'hotel giapponese non sono cattive, non ci dispiace mai scegliere questo soggiorno di gem nascosto! Questa permanenza è gestita da una famiglia, sono amichevole, comunicazione sagge principalmente attraverso le applicazioni di traduzione. Durante il nostro soggiorno, solo noi 1 famiglia, abbiamo goduto profondamente la privacy. Il ryokan è spargiano pulito, il onsen è reale il migliore & pulito, i cibi sono i migliori cibi locali. Per andare in questo luogo, suggerire di guidare da solo. Purtroppo dopo aver lasciato, il soggiorno vicino per il riposo invernale. Io certamente tornerò a questo per il prossimo

BBay YeowHotel reception staffs not able to communicate in English. Have to use Google translate communicate with them. Overall staffs are friendly and tried their best effort with their own translator to communicate with us. Room size is bigger than typical Japan hotel. Not much facilities but okay for us. Washing machines and dryer available. Need to pre-book with reception and paid when check-out. Parking at nearby parking lot. Payment at reception when check-in. Pass parking coupon to reception and collect it from them before u pick up the car. Breakfast typical Japanese style with lot of varieties.
