Hotel a 2 stelle in Dorset, Regno Unito

I recently had to cancel my reservation at The Fairhaven Hotel due to an unexpected illness, and unfortunately, my experience with their customer service has left much to be desired. Despite reaching out promptly to explain my situation and request a refund, I was met with a firm refusal. The hotel’s cancellation policy was not flexible enough to accommodate my circumstances, which was quite disappointing. I understand that policies are in place for a reason, but a little compassion in times of need would have gone a long way. The hotel itself may have great amenities and a lovely atmosphere, but my experience with their handling of cancellations has overshadowed any positive aspects. I would advise potential guests to carefully consider the cancellation policy before booking, especially if there’s a chance that plans may change unexpectedly. Overall, while I cannot speak to the quality of the stay, my interaction with the hotel regarding my cancellation has left me feeling frustrated and dissatisfied. I hope they can improve their customer service approach in the future.

I love the room and amenities offered. Clear instruction, clean facilities, and warm hospitality. Reasonable price and convenient accessibility to different locations (shopping centre, convenience stores, restaurants, cafe and pubs,…)

Had such a lovely stay! Room was clean and service was excellent. Was lucky enough to eat at the pub as well and the food was incredible. Would definitely recommend to anyone planning to pass through Shaftesbury.

Una buona esperienza di alloggio, la zona centrale dell'hotel, fuori dalla finestra è il panorama del mare.Uno dei proprietari è una signora cinese, conveniente per comunicare, l'hotel è molto caldo e molto intimo. Il nostro suite è dotato di una piccola cucina indipendente che può fare una cena semplice, e una lavatrice indipendente, che è molto conveniente per i bambini che navigano ogni giorno.
