This hotel is a budget hotel, in a fairly good location... two blocks from the sea. The furnishings are simple; the beds rather hard, but the linens and towels are good.
We stayed two nights. The front-desk staff are warm and helpful. I must say, though, that I was surprised that our beds were not made when the maid cleaned the room. Towels and toiletries Were replaced, and the room was cleaned, but the beds were left unmade.
I booked this hotel because it offered an included breakfast. Every hotel I have booked through Trip.com, which included breakfast, had a buffet in a room of the hotel. This hotel, strangely, only had someone bring some steamed buns and soy milk to our room. This, and the cleaning-lack are the only two complaints I have. Otherwise the hotel was fine and fairly good value for the money.

SSivakumar077For the first few days of my stay in Qingdao, I booked the compact single room. This time, for two days, I tried the double-bed room with a table and a large window, and it is really excellent for the price.
The room is extremely clean and has all the basic amenities such as a shower, dental kit, and towels. One small difference is that instead of traditional cloth towels, they provide disposable paper-fiber towels. The room is also much more spacious than the single room, even though the price increase is very small. I paid about 55 RMB for the smaller room, while this room cost around 63–64 RMB, but the size is almost double.
The room has a very large window facing the road in front of the hotel. I expected it to be noisy, but surprisingly it was not. There are many power outlets and switchboards, which makes it convenient for charging phones or laptops. The room also has a large TV, along with a table and chair where you can comfortably sit and work.
The staff, as I mentioned earlier, are extremely friendly. By the end of my stay, they almost felt like friends. If you order food or buy items from e-commerce platforms like Jingdong or Taobao, the staff will collect the packages and store them safely on the first floor. Sometimes the delivery person will even bring the order directly to your room.
I stayed on the fourth floor, and the room was very well maintained and spotless. It also includes a hairdryer and hangers. The room I booked had two beds, so if you are traveling with a colleague for business, this is a great option.
The location is not extremely central, but it is still convenient. The nearest subway station is about a 10–15 minute walk, which was not a problem for me. There are also several convenience stores nearby where you can quickly buy snacks or basic items.
Overall, the room is very well maintained, extremely clean, and free of dust. If you are visiting this part of the city, this hotel is definitely a good option to consider.

UUtente ospiteEro preoccupato dopo aver letto alcune recensioni negative, ma fortunatamente non sono rimasto deluso. Il servizio della signora alla reception è stato molto buono. Il parcheggio è gratuito. Non c'è nessun odore particolare nella stanza e nel bagno. Sono abbastanza soddisfatta. C'è l'aria condizionata centralizzata e l'igiene è ok. Ho portato la mia possedere lenzuola e altre provviste, quindi non l'ho guardato attentamente. Il trasporto è molto conveniente: c'è una stazione della metropolitana diagonalmente di fronte alla porta, a due fermate da May Fourth Square. The hotel also offers a free shuttle service to the airport, which is a big plus and very convenient. The rooms and facilities are simple but clean and comfortable. For this price range, I think it’s definitely worth it.

MMarcelo Alexis Norambuena SepulvedaI stayed here for several days in winter as a solo traveler from Chile, and I had a very positive experience. The homestay is excellently located in the German historic quarter of Qingdao, just a short walk from St. Michael’s Cathedral. The area is lively during the day but very quiet at night, which makes it ideal for resting. It is also within walking distance of Qingdao Railway Station (around 15 minutes) and close to metro lines 1, 3 and 4, offering very good connectivity. Many historical landmarks are easily reachable on foot, including Signal Hill Park and the coastal promenade.
The room was small but comfortable, with underfloor heating and air conditioning, which is especially appreciated in winter. The private bathroom was also compact but very functional, with good water pressure and basic toiletries provided. Everything was kept spotlessly clean and well maintained.
The staff were very kind and welcoming. At least one person spoke basic English, enough to communicate with international guests, and the rest of the team were always willing to help. They also kindly stored my luggage after check-out, which was very convenient.
Overall, the value for money was excellent. I found the service and facilities to be more than fair for the price, and I would highly recommend this homestay to solo travelers visiting Qingdao in winter who are looking for a well-located, quiet and friendly place to stay.
