🌟 5-Star Review for Hostel Casa Colón, San José I had a fantastic stay at Hostel Casa Colón — it exceeded my expectations in every way. The location is incredibly convenient, especially if you’re heading to or from the airport or bus terminals. The staff were welcoming and helpful, offering great local tips. My room was clean, secure, and surprisingly quiet despite being in the city. The common areas are stylish and spacious, with a cozy on-site restaurant that serves excellent breakfast and coffee. It truly felt more like a boutique guesthouse than a typical hostel. Highly recommend for solo travelers, couples, or anyone looking for comfort and value in San José.

Il personale è molto amichevole e il bagaglio è stato conservato fino alla sera dopo il ritiro. Non ho tempo per entrare nella piscina, ma la stanza, lo spazio pubblico e la camera da letto sono abbastanza grandi, in generale molto comodi. C'è un nightclub e un bar a piedi, ma non sento nessun rumore di notte, c'è una stazione di polizia vicino, quindi non ho paura della sicurezza.

Das BnB ist gut gelegen. Der späte Check-In (Selbstcheck-In nach Mitternacht) hat gut funktioniert, es wurde vor allem über WhatsApp kommuniziert. Ich hätte mir jedoch gewünscht, die Anweisungen etwas früher zu erhalten, um dementsprechend die Anreise planen zu können. Das Zimmer ist sauber und groß. Es ist jedoch sehr hellhörig, also am besten Ohrstöpsel mitbringen. Ich hätte mir auch gewünscht, zu Beginn ein paar Anweisungen zu erhalten. Z.b. wie man die Außentür abends öffnen kann. Alles in Allem würde ich das BnB weiter empfehlen, v.a. weil Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis passt.

Uno dei luoghi più puliti che abbia mai soggiornato! L'ospite risponderà letteralmente entro pochi secondi ed è estremamente utile. L'ostello non è molto grande, quindi è molto tranquillo, che è stato molto importante per noi. Abbiamo cucinato ogni giorno durante il viaggio e siamo stati gli unici a cucinare. Avevamo una camera privata con bagno privato, ma la camera non era attaccata alla stanza, era davanti alla stanza, che non era nemmeno un problema per noi.

Nice hotel in San-Jose. Old colonial style house very well decorated. Close to city center (in 10-15mins). Next door to the hotel is very good restaurant Pataconeria. Breakfast in the patio starting at 6:30, there is a choose of dishes.  Close to the hotel is railway which wake you up early :)

L'Hotel San José è una scelta economica, ma la posizione è inconveniente e si sente insicura. La proprietà è di base con un minimo di comodità e sicurezza. Esso si adatta ai viaggiatori che preferiscono bassi costi al comfort o alla sicurezza. In generale, l'esperienza è media e deludente per coloro che si aspettano di più.

Un hotel sopra due ristoranti a un isolato dalle strade principali. Ci sono stati alcuni piccoli critter, ma altrimenti un buon buck-buck. C'era un ventilatore di tetto con 3 posti. Il mio sedile igienico non aveva la copertura.

Jorge was very helpful Location not too bad but as with uber most places are within reach. Shower and sink tap a bit to be desired  Will I stay again well maybe I will.

Ottimo servizio su WhatsApp, li ho contattati con alcune domande e hanno risposto velocemente e facilmente :) Grande posizione per il trasferimento aeroportuale al mattino
