Hotel a 2 stelle in Australia Occidentale, Australia

The dorm is transformed from a prison, it is super nice. Front desk helps me upgrade the room as well because now it is a slack season. Overall experience is good, but the bathroom is a bit less, i cant imagine if the dorm is full of crowds with sharing just few bathrooms. 😂

I’ve stayed in fair few budget and mid-range hostels, and overall, Cable Beach Backpackers has a really good vibe. The Good Stuff: • Its a perfect Location. Literally walking distance to Cable Beach, restaurants, and bars. There’s also a bus stop right outside that heads into town every 20 minutes, which was a lifesaver. • The staff are so welcoming and easy to chat with. The little on-site bar has great prices, and the outdoor area is awesome—heaps of undercover seating and a brilliant hammock zone. The kitchen is also massive with plenty of room to cook and store your food. • Having good Wi-Fi was amazing, especially since mobile network coverage can be pretty patchy around the area. • I felt completely safe the entire time. I never worried about my personal safety or my belongings, which is always a huge relief when backpacking. The Not-So-Good Stuff (Just being honest): • I was in a 4-person dorm. It’s pretty basic (two bunks and a clothes rack) and felt super cramped once everyone brought their bags in. The biggest issue was airflow. The window wouldn’t open, so even with the ceiling fan and two portable fans blasting, it got really stuffy and stinky. The only way to get fresh air was leaving the main door wide open. While I felt safe enough to do this, it’s still not ideal for privacy or keeping the bugs out. Putting flyscreens on the doors could fix this! • I didn't see any lockers in the room for safely locking away small valuables. If they do have them and I just missed them, it would be great to have them highlighted at check-in, otherwise adding some would be a great upgrade. • There are noise restrictions after 10 PM, but people were still talking loudly, playing music and making noise late into the night every evening. Also, a lot of guests didn't clean up after themselves, so the shared tables and bathrooms were pretty messy a lot of the time. People also ignored the designated smoking areas. Overall, the location, Wi-Fi, and staff are top-notch, and it feels like a very safe spot to stay. I know you get what you pay for but it could still do with a little bit of a reno and better upkeep to stop the shared spaces from getting messy.

Il posto è vecchio e un po' vecchio, e voi sentite il traffico dalla strada, ma, per il costo della notte, che era $120, in generale, è stato buono per il denaro. Quando sono arrivato per la prima volta, come dopo le ore, mi sono occupato del curatore, che era amichevole, e mi ha aiutato anche a entrare nella mia stanza, perché ho avuto problemi con la chiusura della porta, che era la mia colpa! Non ho usato i servizi della cucina, tranne il frigo, ma la cucina era dotata di oggetti sufficienti per poter cucinare facilmente un pasto. Il bagno era buono, con doccia sopra il bagno, (e anche il bagno di grande dimensione), quindi senza avere un bagno a casa, mi sono imbucato per anni! Prima di arrivare, mi è stato detto che solo il mini sapone e la carta da bagno erano stati forniti, quindi sapevo portare lavastoviglie, condizionatore per capelli e altri bagni. La TV potrebbe essere un po' piccola, ma la stanza aveva un paio di tappeti, e alcuni pendenti per vestiti. Il posto era abbastanza pulito, ricordando che è una proprietà più vecchia. Guardatevi era facile, e mi incontrai con un amichevole ricevitore dietro il desk. Sarei sicuramente rimasto, se il prezzo fosse così buono, avrei portato solo qualche orecchini per il sonno, costo di rumore del traffico, che non è colpa degli appartamenti, ovviamente!

La posizione era facile da trovare e accessibile alla maggior parte dei luoghi. Apprezzo la biancheria da letto e gli asciugamani puliti. La camera era abbastanza spaziosa e aveva sufficienti spazi per riporre i bagagli. C'è un ampio e accogliente spazio di studio/lavoro/soggiorno con tavoli da biliardo e schermo per proiettore. Le aree notte sono abbastanza sicure con tessere magnetiche, quindi si può essere meno preoccupati dell'ingresso esterno. C'è un angolo cottura che consente agli ospiti di conservare il cibo in grandi frigoriferi e sufficienti servizi come microonde e tostapane. È un peccato che alcuni ospiti non siano responsabili del lavaggio dopo l'uso. Il distributore di acqua calda non funzionava nei pochi giorni in cui sono stato lì, quindi molti ospiti hanno riscaldato l'acqua potabile con il microonde. Possibili miglioramenti: vorrei che un ostello con un turnover così elevato potesse prendere in considerazione di fornire shampoo e sapone condivisi nelle docce e avere una macchina che vende capsule di detersivo per bucato. Aiuterebbe sicuramente a ridurre i carichi di rifiuti monouso usa e getta.

Cons: parking a bit limited, unsecure. Elevator is functional but a bit scary for my partner. A microwave or similar would have been nice? Or even just cutlery? In places, property is showing age but within reason. Noise through floors/walls from other guests, even closing doors a floor above is very audible let alone TV/etc Shower head needed descaling and was a bit erratic Pros: On beachfront, although our view was a bit obstructed. Dining next door has always been excellent, great food. Room was large, functional, and quite clean and pleasant. Bed was comfortable, pillows pleasant and linen clean. Check in and out was easy and simple. Overall, I'd stay here again and plan to book a room again in December. Our 2 nights here were great, and watching the water from our table having dinner in the rain was fantastic. If you're expecting a 5-star resort, you'll be dissapointed. If you want a clean, large, comfortable room, in a good location and easy access to good food (recommend the fish and chip shop 5 mins away), and just a pleasant beach front stay? Book here.

Great 2 nights stay in this hotel. The check in process was easy and they served us well. As the hotel designed like heritage style, we can experience the old-timer environment. It's a shared bathroom, and it would be better if the hotel equips more lights, especially during night time. They do have a private customer parking spot which is great and convenience. Overall, we have a pleasant stay in this hotel

A nice hostel not too far from Perth city center. Good things I liked: - Comfortable mattress, with a small curtain for a little privacy - Staffs were nice and helpful - common areas, kitchen, and showers/toilets were cleaned daily - Plus point: Breakfast included (simple toasts with peanut butter/Jam/choc spread) - Free coffee and tea (not the best quality but ok) - near bus stop and grocery (Woolworths) Not so good things: - rooms are quite cramped - no signage outside, bit confusing & hard to find for first timers - Most of the furniture and kitchen facilities are quite old - front porch & yard seems messy & unaesthetic - Price-to-quality ratio: ok The free breakfast, nice & helpful staff, kitchen space and social areas make this hostel recommendable. However, needs for hostel signage & revamping of all spaces & furnitures would make it a highly recommended hostel.

La posizione era davvero ottima, vicinissima alla stazione di Perth! Se vi aspettate una stanza davvero lussuosa, rimarrete delusi, ma se cercate un posto economico dove alloggiare, ve lo consiglio vivamente! Il problema è che se nella stanza c'è qualcuno che russa rumorosamente, potresti non riuscire a dormire bene.

È un ostello con camera privata con bagno condiviso. Possiamo accedere da soli e forniscono una nuova foglia e un salotto. Per un asciugamano, dovremmo chiedere prima e forniscono. La posizione è fantastica e accessibile con Transperth Bus. L'ostello ha anche una cucina condivisa con utensili completi.

Bene, è un buon hotel intorno a Owlshaw. Ricordate che la stazione di benzina di fronte è in piedi. Qualcuno ha una stazione di benzina alle sei del mattino. Il servizio è ancora buono.
