My partner and I received outstanding service during our stay at Residence Le Point Choisy in Mauritius. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warmth and hospitality that truly exceeded our expectations. Throughout our stay, every member of their staff went above and beyond to ensure that we felt welcomed and cared for. More so I want to extend a special thanks to Yash and Matt for arranging special activities, recommending exquisite dining options and simply attending to our needs with a smile, you both consistently demonstrated a level of professionalism and attentiveness that left a lasting impression on us. We definitely recommend guests to book at their place and we look forward to returning to your beautiful resort in the future and creating more cherished memories.

You need to manage your expectations when you book a stay at Oceans Villas. You might have watched the YouTube videos showing the hotel. But it's fair to say that these videos show the icing on the cake and not the core ingredients. If you saw two South Africans touring the hotel, be warned that they've shown the best parts and avoided showing the worst parts. It's a 3 star establishment. And that means you're going to have to put up with a property that was built circa 1980s. There were signs of wear and tear everywhere. As you walk through the front door, some parts of the villas needed a bit of filler and a lick of paint. Some of the furniture had seen better days and our shower door leaked every time we took a shower. But the villa was clean. The beds were comfortable and the villa had amenities that you wouldn't expect such as a safe, hair dryer and a microwave too. A bottle of mineral water was also provided on arrival and parking outside the villas was a nice touch. As for the grounds, the gardens are kept well. It's not going to blow you away but again it's 3 star. The swimming pool didn't look as clean as we'd like and we opted not to go for a dip. The cushions on the seats were littered with stains from previous guests spilling drinks and food. The beach was decent. The view out to the bay was spectacular and you certainly won't be disappointed. You can swim but when we stayed, the sea was choppy but that's not the hotel's problem. What's great about Oceans Villa is its position. You're only 5 minutes away in a car from the best public beaches. Namely Trou aux Biches, Mon Choisy, Pereybere and La Gaulette. So you're spoilt for choice. We'd like to praise the service at the hotel. The kitchen staff and serving staff were really accommodating. Nothing was too much trouble. The entertainment was particularly good, and you'll certainly be tapping your toes and most likely dancing. Lastly the food. One word MSG. There's a good selection of food but too much MSG added to the food. Every morning, we woke up to that awful salty taste on our tongues. So as you can gather there's some good parts to Oceans Villas but you're going to have to put up with some bad parts. if you're on a budget and happy to stay in a 3 star establishment where you can experience the beaches in the North, it's a good place to stay. Would we stay there again? I'd most likely opt for a self catering apartment. We felt for the money, we'd get better quality of facilities but then again we'd have to prepare our food.

Ho soggiornato in questa struttura con il mio compagno e il bambino di 6 anni. Personale gentile e disponibile, un grazie particolare a Manisha (spero sia corretto), estremamente cortese e attenta alle nostre esigenze. Camere pulite e confortevoli, affacciate su un bellissimo giardino tropicale. Molto belle anche le 2 piscine, con forme particolari. Il bar ed il ristorante affacciano su una di esse, creando un'atmosfera piacevole e rilassante. Il menù è vario, con proposte locali ed internazionali. Spiaggia dotata di ombrelloni e lettini, con possibilità di usufruire gratuitamente di pedalò e kayak. Consiglio sicuramente questa bella struttura!

Abbiamo lasciato l’isola senza davvero essere immersi in essa, siamo tornati in quella, siamo diventati innamorati di questo luogo così ricco di cultura, natura, umanità. Una vera lezione di vita. Abbiamo partire questo mese di gennaio 2025, con Promo Vacanze che hanno gestito tutto per noi, voli ai trasferimenti passando attraverso l’hotel e il tour operator delle escursioni. Un consulente a nostra ascoltazione e dinamica. Abbiamo scoperto paesaggi incantevoli, incontri registrati per sempre, condivisioni quotidiane, siamo sicuri che ci ritorneremo e il giorno in cui ci ritorneremo sarà nello stesso posto senza esitare. Un hotel idealmente situato , il suo lato familiare e caldo, Valérie e Cyril i patroni e la loro squadra sono così benevoli, un ristorante di qualità e un comfort ineguale. Ho soggiornato insieme al mio compagno in questa struttura una settimana dal 22 al 29 giugno.la struttura è un gioiellino ,le camere dotate di tutto ciò che serve si affacciano su un giardino rigoglioso e una piscina ben tenuta ,inoltre la posizione è ottima vicina al paese...a piedi si raggiungono vari ristorantini e un supermarket . Davanti alla guesthouse basta attraversare la strada c'è una bellissima spiaggia libera dove si vedono tramonti spettacolari! Per le escursioni ci siamo affidati a Roberto Dragotto che troverete su facebook come @robertomauritiusvacanzedragotto ,un italiano residente che con competenza e simpatia vi porterà a vedere gli angoli più belli dell'isola non esitate a contattarlo.l'unico appunto che posso fare alla struttura è la colazione un po' scarna e l'orario di inizio colazione inflessibile basterebbe iniziare alle 7,30 invece che alle 8 e aggiungere qualche scelta in più nel piccolo buffet per il resto tutto ok...ritornerei anche domani
