Hotel a 3 stelle in Surrey, Regno Unito

This is not the first time we have stayed at this hotel, although it is the first time that we used Trip to make the booking. This is a very nice hotel with friendly staff and a good range of food and drink available. The room we stayed in was clean and comfortable. It was quiet and a good night sleep was had. If I had to make a negative point it would be that we were required to pay an additional fee for parking and that hasn’t been the case before. I didn’t notice anything about parking charges when I made the booking although it may have been there. As a hotel guest that I would expect overnight parking to be complementary however this will not impact whether or not we stay at the hotel again. Thank you to the friendly staff and compliments to the Cleaning staff for presenting us with a nice room.

I stayed in room 3 on the ground floor and I thought the experience as a whole was alright, gets the job done if that’s all you need. There were some things I thought were a bit strange however. The shower was the main thing, it was stuck on full power which was crazy fast. It also didn’t stay in place because it was so powerful and kept turning into the wall. When I had pointed it facing out, it would point to the window (which was in the shower) and begin to fill up the window sill. Additionally, the sliding door had broken and it was replaced with a flimsy shower curtain which Barry managed to cover the gap. The room was a little dark but other than that was fine. The bed was fine too. Dinner is room service or you can have it in the bar area if you’d like. There isn’t a restaurant however and the bar area isn’t incredibly suitable for a meal with a family, fine on my own though. The menu consisted of pub food and each item was between £11-15 for the majority. There is a pizza and alcohol deal for £15 which is what I had, which was fine. Breakfast was £11.75 I think and was a buffet in one of the service rooms and was pretty good. Overall I think my experience was pretty poor but the room was very clean and the staff were very helpful and polite

L'hotel è un po' date e indossate, quindi ho avuto qualche trepidazione quando sono arrivato per la prima volta. Tuttavia, la mia stanza era molto pulita e confortevole. Tutte le strutture abituali. Colazione era disponibile ma non l'ho presa. L'unica cosa che direi è che le stanze sono molto vicine e le porte sono molto alte. Ero fortunato di non avere vicini rumorosi, ma immagino che se avessero persone che venivano e andassero molto, sarebbe molto irritante.

This location was perfect for us for a nearby visit. The pub was very popular (almost full) and had a great atmosphere. The car park was very busy with patrons cars. Fortunately we could find a spot but it would be useful if, somehow, Hotel stayers were reserved a space. This could be requested by the hotel upon booking confirmation. Sadly, we did not have time to enjoy the food or drink in the bar before meeting friends. When shown to our room and while carrying over night bags up the stairs, it would have been extra helpful if our door had been opened for us by the staff member to walk straight in before setting those bags down. Small detail to go from 9.5 to a 10/10! After check in we left our room quite soon after to meet friends and only returned after midnight to sleep before next day check out. As a result, we could not really enjoy any service or facilities but the room was fine with an ensuite bathroom. Adequate for our needs. We have stayed before and would stay again should we need to be in the area. Thank you Star Inn

There is a serious issue with the hotel’s flooring. Every time someone walks on the floor, in other rooms or in the corridor, it makes an incredibly loud creaking noise. It is so bad that it woke me up at 3 AM. This made it very difficult to sleep and really affected my stay. The hotel should definitely address this problem, because it is not acceptable for guests who need a quiet night’s rest.

Another lovely stay. Evening meal was very good. Breakfast was average. The spa facilities are good. They have added extra hot tubs which was a nice addition although both hot tubs were not as clean as they could have been. We went to the spa very early and was a little disappointed with the amount of scum marks in the hot tub. We felt it should have been wiped round before the first people used it. Other than that we had a lovely stay.

We stayed at Orchid Epsom for 10 days and had a truly comfortable and pleasant experience. The hotel is very well located with good accessibility to both local transport and nearby attractions, making it easy for us to get around during our trip. The property is clean, peaceful, and well-maintained — perfect for families looking for a calm place to return to after a busy day in London. What really stood out was the wonderful staff who made our stay memorable. A big thank you to Akhil, Nikhil, Abhishek, Hava, Safa, Ali, Darshini, and Laura — each of them went out of their way to ensure we felt welcome and taken care of. Their friendly attitude, helpful suggestions, and warm hospitality made us feel at home. Overall, Orchid Epsom is a great choice for anyone visiting the area — a peaceful stay with exceptional staff and great service. Highly recommended, and we’d happily stay here again.

I letti erano assolutamente terribili, non avevano mai dormito una notte peggiore come abbiamo fatto lì, così incomodo, le mutande erano così dure e così stupide che non abbiamo dormito affatto, i piani che volavano erano rumorosi. C'era un lavaggio sporco nella sala quando siamo arrivati alle 7 e ci siamo ancora il giorno dopo alle 8. Hanno consigliato il colazione, ma poi ci hanno detto che non c'era nessuno. E' stato molto pulito, ma non ci fermeremo mai più.

Il soggiorno è stato molto confortevole, anche se i servizi non erano paragonabili a quelli di un Holiday Inn. Le camere erano molto pulite e ordinate. L'ospitalità del personale è stata ottima. Nel complesso, è stato un soggiorno molto piacevole, dato che anche la zona dell'ippodromo di Epsom è molto bella. L'unico neo è che le strutture più affollate non sono molto vicine all'hotel.

Scelta perfetta per riposarsi durante la notte, prima (o dopo) il volo. Il prezzo era economico rispetto ad altri hotel più vicini (87,5, con colazione inclusa). L'hotel dispone di un pub aperto 24 ore su 24, 7 giorni su 7, al piano terra e anche di un bus navetta che gestisce ogni 20 minuti a soli £ 4/pp. Per i miei primi voli dall'aeroporto di Gatwick, il Travelodge sarà la mia sistemazione preferita.
