1. Location: It's convenient and great if you don't have a car as it's only 10 mins away from the city centre. There is a bus stop to go to the airport and city just next to the hotel. There's the Queenstown Trail track just down the road if you wish to have a pleasant walk along the lake. 2. Service: The guy who did our check-in did it like he was repeating a song that he was fed up with singing. Good for those in a hurry who like express check-in with 0 personalization or care but that was NOT a 5* check-in. 3. Room: Booked a standard room on Luxury Escapes, but I don't think the hotel should be on this ”high standard” booking platform. Our room was on the ground floor, so everybody could see us and our belongings. The room was old and small. We had very little room left being 2 people with 2 big luggages. One of the two glasses in the bathroom was still dirty from the previous guests. The blinds didn't work properly and we had to find tricks to close them so people wouldn't see us get changed or sleep! Your sleep might get disturbed if passersby are loud and drunk lol. The washing machine was literally just in front of our room door (a thin door) and woke us up super early one morning. The TV didn't work. Big lack of plugs outlets. Overall, if you're planning on spending the entire day outside and getting back to the room just for sleep then you're fine but don't expect anything fancy.

Non hanno questa politica di musica forte dopo le 10:00, ma purtroppo la nostra prima notte, le persone che si trovano nella stanza inferiore hanno comprato il proprio oratore e si rivolgono a voce alta, battendo musica anche dopo mezzanotte. Abbiamo chiamato la ricezione alle 11:00, che hanno risposto, ma la gente ha appena sbloccato la musica e riattaccato dopo averla lasciata. In generale, buona posizione come il lago Dunstan è vicino, vale il denaro e hanno una buona vista.

This is a fantastic hotel with great engaging staff who show you around the hotel and explain everything when you arrive. The hotel provides drinks, milk tea and a coffee with a coffee maker in the the room. Downstairs there is a really nice hang out area with a complementary happy hour and tea, coffee and sweets. The decor is very moody and is unique from any other hotel I've stayed in. A huge amount of detail is paid to ensuring presentation is on point. There are nice views from most rooms and the location is nice and close to the middle of town. The only disappointment was $20 to use a carpark. That being said, there is plenty of on street parking if required.

We have been staying here for few days. Yes the hoteliers are nice and they are professional attending our call. I will recommend you to stat here. Hotel ambience is awesome next to Lake Wakatipu

We've traveled a lot, but seldom have we been so happy to return to our hotel room at night. Everything about this place was superb-- the gorgeous view (you must get a lake view room), the space, the decor, the location-- easy walk downtown-- and the jazzy atmosphere that had us literally dancing in the halls and elevators. The breakfast was awesome, just decadent. We wanted to move in. Did I mention we liked this hotel?

Brilliant views over the lake and very peaceful. Our room was missing an iron but the staff went out of their way to find me one which I really appreciated. It was very useful to have a washing machine and tumble dryer on site. There's no issue with accessibility if you are fit and able but not all rooms will be suitable for those who have mobility issues. Well stocked kitchen with everything we needed and a 30 minute walk into Queenstown which suited us really well.

We were incredibly fortunate to book in and have our very first Le Goûter experience, at Le Salon Rouge, in The Sofitel, Queenstown. It was an Afternoon Tea like no other that we've ever experienced before. It was very romantic, an afternoon tea in a gorgeous elegant setting with relaxing speakeasy-style music softly playing in the background. The presentation was such a special surprise, with us each being delivered a book filled with decadent French treats. My book was from Paris, and my husband's was from New York. Inside the books were bite-sized delicious morsels that had been perfectly hand crafted by Sous Chef Imogen Liao. Each item is made on-site and was created with absolute precision! If you're ever in Queenstown, this is an experience not to be missed. Unlike many other Afternoon Teas in Hotels, this is affordable, and is such a fun, and very French experience to enjoy with your loved one, or a friend. I have been to several Afternoon Teas and High Teas across the world and can say without question that I have never experienced one like this before. This is definitely unique, I have never been surprised like I was in this one. The freshness and attention to detail were absolutely second to none. This is a memory that we will treasure forever. Amazing hotel in a very lively town. Location is off the busy street so it’s nice and quiet. Plenty of public parking around. Rooms were great and very comfortable. Had a great stay. Staff were very accommodating also

Siamo stati veramente bene in questa struttura. Ci siamo fidati del nostro tour operator. Location perfetta, accoglienza ottima, stanza comodissima, super accessoriata (c’era anche una macchinetta per il caffè NESPRESSO. Sala comune con vari prodotti (tutti free)…. perfino il latte fresco! Quando ci tornerò, però, cercherò di ottenere una stanza a pianterreno……
