Hotel a 3 stelle in Jiangxi, Cina

Great pet friendly stay in the mountains with free parking and amazing JiangXi food that we just had to order everyday. The drive up was easy, air was fresh and it wasn’t hot at all despite the 40degree heat. Only 1hr drive to 武功山, a very quick drive to town and they even gave gifts when we left. The down sides were, being a homestay, it’s so friendly there wasn’t much service. They din contact us beforehand, some homestay owners will enquire arrival time so they can welcome us, especially with steps leading up to the accommodation. The 2 ladies reacted like we weren’t expected, the butler had no smile and didn’t offer to help us carry our luggages up the stairs to our room, until I mentioned I will make a 2nd trip down. No one informed us there will be 2 dozen moths entering the room at night because we had the aircon on. Well, it’s summer…. Luckily we are both not scared of them, I can already imagine my screaming friends had it been them. I spent most of the 1st night clearing the moths. The 2nd night was better with only about 10 moths after the housekeeping lady told us to block the bottom of the door. We informed them we will only have their set breakfast on the 2nd morning, and they were so nice to cook us a bowl of noodles when we asked for breakfast on the 1st morning after we came back early from 武功山. Sadly when we went down for breakfast on the 2nd morning, there were no one around, and when we asked the butler if there is breakfast , his reply was like “think should have”. 😅 It’s around 30km for nearest takeaway so we munched on what we brought. It’s a 1.5hrs wait until we heard commotion and went to take a look, yes breakfast is ready. I knew they never read my request when they were a tad surprised we brought our pet along. I mentioned ahead we were there to celebrate my daughter’s birthday. I didn’t expect a cake or surprise, a simple decoration in the room or just a birthday wish when we check in would have been so nice, especially since it’s the actual day. Nothing.. No helping with luggage after check out either. Overall still a lovely stay, will consider coming back if we need a pet friendly place.

Disappointing stay here. We had no choice but to extend our stay because it was Chinese new year and very difficult to find another place to stay and also my husband was sick so we had to change our plans and stay an extra night so he could rest. The place smelled like smoke everywhere. We have a baby with us and wanted a smoke free place. Despite the signs in the lobby saying No Smoking, people were smoking there and the front desk people didn’t care. The towels in our room had ashes on them and smelled like smoke. They were also ripped and badly needed to be replaced. (We got a smoke free room and learned on our trip that all they do for smoke free rooms is open the windows to air it out before you arrive. 🤦🏻♀️) There was insufficient toilet paper when we arrived and although they did provide more when we asked it was just inconvenient. The toilet paper holder was broken so we had to find somewhere else to put the roll of toilet paper. The sink leaked and it was supposed to be a dry washroom which is one of the reasons why I booked the place but turned out to be a wet washroom. Incredibly inconvenient with a baby. The shower drainage was missing a cover and it didn’t feel safe for my child when showering because her little feet could get stuck inside it. One of the days we needed to rest a little longer and the housekeeper asked us when we were leaving so she could clean our room. We said we needed 2 more hours (around 2pm) she kept trying to peer inside our room and said she wanted to get off work early. I found that incredibly rude. I understand it’s CNY and you want to go home early but that’s not something you should say to a guest who paid to stay at the hotel. Front desk people also did not seem friendly. Never saw any of them smile. We obviously don’t speak Chinese fluently and they laughed at us when they couldn’t understand us and wasn’t helpful in any way. Overall, not a very pleasant stay. Would not stay here again.

L'ambiente del B&B è bellissimo e il proprietario è cordiale e amichevole. Sono venuto qui per una notte e, dopo averlo incontrato per caso, ho sentito il servizio completo e attento del negozio. Il B&B è molto vicino alla via commerciale e il parcheggio è comodo. Le strutture delle camere sono relativamente nuove e pulite. Vai al punto panoramico, prendi e lascia con l'auto speciale del capo, servizio a 5 stelle. Un ottimo B&B Spero che il proprietario diventi più grande e più forte e torni di nuovo nella Valle di Wangxian in futuro!

Ha superato le mie aspettative. Avevo poche aspettative per gli hotel famosi. Questo hotel ha curato con attenzione l'arredamento dell'area circostante, quindi è piuttosto accogliente. Il divanetto sul balcone è davvero fotogenico. È molto comodo sedersi sulla sedia in rattan e crogiolarsi al sole dopo aver fatto colazione di fronte la mattina. La proprietaria ci ha anche aiutato a prenotare un'auto per raggiungere il punto panoramico. In effetti, non è lontano a piedi. Abbiamo deciso di aggiornare in una suite di piano terra, ed è stata la migliore decisione. Il personale era amico e accogliente, dal ricevitore che ha recuperato il lavandino quando siamo usciti, alla signora proprietaria che ci ha salutati in strada e ha offerto consigli utili per la vista, Il hotel ha una posizione eccellente sulla storia di Bajing Street, piena di negozi di antiquariato e di artigianato. Il villaggio culturale della dinastia canzone, il Pavilione Bajing, le mura della città antica e il ponte del ponte sono stati tutti a pochi passi.

I had a lovely time at Nanshe Courtyard Homestay! The hostess and her husband were very kind and the room was very tidy and nicely designed. The location was ideal for visiting the night market and grabbing a meal. It was also fun to go next door and try making my own pottery on the wheel. Really gracious hosting and a unique city!

One of the nicest hotels I've stayed at - absolutely immaculate. The room was stunning, it was so well-presented it looked like something out of a magazine. The owner is super friendly and upbeat and gave me fruit when I got back from exploring Wangxian Valley. Breakfast was also really good the next morning. Loved it!
