GGGenGreat pet friendly stay in the mountains with free parking and amazing JiangXi food that we just had to order everyday.
The drive up was easy, air was fresh and it wasn’t hot at all despite the 40degree heat. Only 1hr drive to 武功山, a very quick drive to town and they even gave gifts when we left.
The down sides were, being a homestay, it’s so friendly there wasn’t much service. They din contact us beforehand, some homestay owners will enquire arrival time so they can welcome us, especially with steps leading up to the accommodation. The 2 ladies reacted like we weren’t expected, the butler had no smile and didn’t offer to help us carry our luggages up the stairs to our room, until I mentioned I will make a 2nd trip down. No one informed us there will be 2 dozen moths entering the room at night because we had the aircon on. Well, it’s summer…. Luckily we are both not scared of them, I can already imagine my screaming friends had it been them. I spent most of the 1st night clearing the moths. The 2nd night was better with only about 10 moths after the housekeeping lady told us to block the bottom of the door.
We informed them we will only have their set breakfast on the 2nd morning, and they were so nice to cook us a bowl of noodles when we asked for breakfast on the 1st morning after we came back early from 武功山. Sadly when we went down for breakfast on the 2nd morning, there were no one around, and when we asked the butler if there is breakfast , his reply was like “think should have”. 😅 It’s around 30km for nearest takeaway so we munched on what we brought. It’s a 1.5hrs wait until we heard commotion and went to take a look, yes breakfast is ready.
I knew they never read my request when they were a tad surprised we brought our pet along. I mentioned ahead we were there to celebrate my daughter’s birthday. I didn’t expect a cake or surprise, a simple decoration in the room or just a birthday wish when we check in would have been so nice, especially since it’s the actual day. Nothing.. No helping with luggage after check out either.
Overall still a lovely stay, will consider coming back if we need a pet friendly place.

UUtente ospiteGli splendidi dintorni di Xigu B&B permettono alle persone di stare lontano dal trambusto e dalla pressione della città. Ho scelto una camera accogliente, arredata come a casa e che mi ha fatto sentire molto a mio agio. Ha davvero superato le mie aspettative. L'atmosfera calda e il servizio premuroso mi hanno fatto sentire più a casa.
Dopo aver soggiornato lì, tutti i miei amici hanno detto che era un posto che valeva la pena visitare. Combina un bellissimo ambiente naturale con buone strutture e servizi, permettendoti di goderti una piacevole vacanza. I miei sentimenti personali👉🏻Xigu B&B è davvero un buon posto dove le persone possono rilassarsi e godersi la vita.
Un B&B così bello che non vorrai andartene.

UUtente anonimoHa superato le mie aspettative. Avevo poche aspettative per gli hotel famosi. Questo hotel ha curato con attenzione l'arredamento dell'area circostante, quindi è piuttosto accogliente. Il divanetto sul balcone è davvero fotogenico. È molto comodo sedersi sulla sedia in rattan e crogiolarsi al sole dopo aver fatto colazione di fronte la mattina. La proprietaria ci ha anche aiutato a prenotare un'auto per raggiungere il punto panoramico. In effetti, non è lontano a piedi. Dato che questo servizio è incluso nella prenotazione della camera, ne abbiamo usufruito.

SSeet-HutterWe decided to upgrade to a ground floor suite and it was the best decision. The suite was bright and spacious with a private terrace overlooking the lake from which you got a spectacular view of the neighbouring Bajing park and bridge as well as an islet with a tree full of white egrets. The suite had both a bathtub and separate shower and a cosy niche with a circular bay window for enjoying one's tea. The grounds and public areas of this hotel were immaculate, and one can't help but be impressed by the cleaners constantly sweeping up every last leaf in the courtyards. The staff were all friendly and accommodating, from the receptionist who retrieved our laundry when we were out, to the lady owner who greeted us in the street and offered helpful suggestions for sightseeing, to the kitchen staff who tried their best to adjust to our western taste at breakfast. The hotel had a superb location on historic Bajing Street which was full of quirky shops selling antiques and folk crafts. The Song Dynasty cultural village, the Bajing Pavilion, the ancient city walls and the pontoon bridge were all within easy walking distance.

UUtente ospiteOur stay at the Floral Hotel in Wuyuan was lovely and unforgettable . The family that owns and manages the homestay is extremely kind and attentive. As Europeans, we were very disoriented and had lots of requests and doubts. Lily, the daughter of the family, who speaks English, helped us in any possible way and never made us feel as if we were being difficult. Her mother cooks meals with ingredients straight out of her garden and with locally farmed meat. Thanks to her, we tasted the delicious wuyuan cuisine, with homemade recipes that are far from the stereotypical dishes we eat in Europe.
I can’t stress enough how beautiful the Homestay is. It is located in a small village which might not be a ticketed scenic area, but it’s extremely charming and authentic. You wake up and walk by the river where women are washing clothes by hand in the water. The village feels frozen in time. The house was built by the family’s grandfather, and is the most exquisite building we have seen throughout our trip in China. Beautifully preserved, and every corner is decorated with taste and attentiveness, even the lighting in the room is carefully curated. We stayed in December, and if you are travelling in winter we recommend the smaller room upstairs. It gets much warmer than the bigger room on the ground floor. The room is a real gem, the bed is very comfortable and the small windows overlook the characteristic roofs of the village. We will always cherish our time spent here, and we will recommend the Homestay to all our friends who will visit China, I’d say it is worth coming to Wuyuan just to stay here.

UUtente ospiteI had a lovely time at Nanshe Courtyard Homestay! The hostess and her husband were very kind and the room was very tidy and nicely designed. The location was ideal for visiting the night market and grabbing a meal. It was also fun to go next door and try making my own pottery on the wheel. Really gracious hosting and a unique city!

Jjonny GannonOne of the nicest hotels I've stayed at - absolutely immaculate. The room was stunning, it was so well-presented it looked like something out of a magazine. The owner is super friendly and upbeat and gave me fruit when I got back from exploring Wangxian Valley. Breakfast was also really good the next morning. Loved it!

UUtente anonimoLocation is perfect if you wanna soend time hanging around the impreial kiln area, the entrance tickets allow u to enter for consecutive three days, and it is nice to take a walk at the river side right across hotel too. 20mins taxi ride from highspeed rail station. There is supermarket nearby, and quite a lot of local jiangxi dishes restaurants and a local mall with kfc within 10mins walk. a little shop selling the famous fried dough sesame mochi and soybean milk at the street next to it.
The hotel is a bit too worn out and first time i enter the room theres a really bad smell which could be from the towel/mob they used to clean. N the room is too dark as the window is pretty small. It gets better after i turn on the ac for the whole night…
The room is veryvery spacious but the shower space has water leakage on the floor… n the washing basin is a bit block… n water goes away really slow…
Hotel staff are friendly tho except first day the house cleaning lady keeps knocking my door for cleaning but im still in bed and second time im in shower… first time in my life encounter such frequent knocking lol
And it is pretty weird they throw away my toothbrush on the second night too cos they throw away my travel toobrush cap too…
Corridor is pretty nice n the room decor u can tell they immersed quite some ceramic elements which is nice but overall the hotel is quite worn out and the noise isolation from corridor still has great room for improvement.
