Hotel a 3 stelle in Prefettura di Shimane, Giappone

Matsue Excel Hotel Tokyu was our 5th hotel in this journey, and honestly, it set the bar pretty high. The location was hard to beat — right opposite Matsue Station, and it could be easily reached through an underpass, which was especially helpful when travelling with big luggage or during bad weather. One big surprise for us was the check-in experience. We arrived at the hotel at around 11.30am, fully expecting to leave our luggage and return later, but we were told that our room was already ready and we could occupy it immediately instead of waiting until the usual 3pm check-in time. It also seemed that they upgraded our booking to a Standard Double Room, which made the experience even better. Two thumbs up for this hotel. Even though we had booked a Standard Single Room, the space genuinely surprised us. The room came with a queen bed and was more than comfortable for two of us. We were able to fully open our large suitcases without feeling cramped — something that is not always guaranteed in Japanese hotels. The room layout was practical and well thought out, with a proper TV console and work desk with a chair, a single sofa with a small table, an air purifier, and a fridge. The TV model was a bit outdated, though it did not affect our stay. The bathroom was also spacious, with a proper bathtub that allowed us to stretch our legs comfortably after long days out. The bed was very comfy, and they provided two pillows for each of us, which made our sleep even better. Amenities and bottled water were provided at the lobby area, which we found convenient. We paid around SGD159 (JPY19,000) for two nights, and it was excellent value. Overall, it was one of the best hotels in this journey, and we would gladly stay here again.

Non sono attento all'ultimo giorno del viaggio. Ho perso la mia energia di azione nel negozio di accompagnamento vicino all'agenzia di Xiaochuan. È tardi per tornare all'hotel. Devo prendere l'aereo di nuovo il giorno dopo, Non c'è tempo per tornare a cercare. Mia sorella è buona a chiedere al personale dell'hotel di contattare il personale del negozio di giochi l'altro giorno per trovarlo e per favore aiutarlo a mandarlo a casa degli amici di Tokyo. Tutto era grande, tranne che il vecchio manager non ha lasciato che il giovane receptionista mi sostenesse per la prenotazione del ristorante. All'inizio, il giovane ricevitore era in cerca di aiutarmi a chiamare, poi il vecchio mi disse qualcosa e lei mi disse che non poteva farlo. Wow, l'esperienza vecchia in ospitalità non è venuta con la mente di servizio?? Questo è nuovo per me dove sono andato in tutto il mondo. A parte che tutto era magnifico. Ho avuto il tasso per l'izakaya locale intorno con la piastra sashimi gratis su ogni birra o (percio' ho preso sashimi da quando mi piace il highball). Ogni giorno, il buono libero per usare il suo dorme hotel a premio sorella, Onyado Nono Matsue, che ha le palle calde e fredde e la suana con sedie da massaggio. Omg, ho pianificato per Tamatsukuri, ma questa sorpresa mi ha preso al posto. Lavatrice gratuita e 200 ¥ per 40 min di asciugatrice erano anche il cielo per il mio piano di viaggio leggero.

This hotel is truly amazing! I appreciate a lot on: - warm and friendly staff who could not speak much English but were very nice to explain to me the details of the hotel - gorgeous garden where you could take a seat and enjoy the view - free Japanese alcohol at 1500-1800 (soft drinks until 2100) - impressive free Japanese cultural performance at 2110 - quick and positive response despite I made several urgent requests due to sudden plan change - free shuttle bus service between JR station and hotel if you approached front desk for information - the environment of the public bath was quite clean - totally different food combination in dinner for 2 nights Considering the price I paid for such service, I would say the quality is definitely beyond my expectation. :) Thank you every hotel staff who made my experience a better stay!!

2min walk from Matsue station which was really nice. 711 combini 20 meters away. The highlight was the onsen within the hotel which was open till very late. Nothing beats an onsen after a long traveling day.

I really enjoyed my stay at Matsue Universal Hotel. The hotel has a strong 1980s style, a bit old-fashioned but full of character. Everything is functional and the location is excellent, close to the station and easy to get around. Breakfast and dinner are included and were very much appreciated. It’s not fine dining, but the meals are solid, convenient, and good value. The staff is friendly and helpful, which adds a lot to the overall atmosphere. I liked the ambiance a lot and would definitely recommend this hotel for a comfortable and relaxed stay in Matsue.

We stayed for three days and the hotel was beautiful. Very spacious, all of the amenities and such a relaxing hot spring tub. Breakfast each morning was wonderful and different each day, with local foods. The ladies who worked at the breakfast restaurant were very helpful and so nice. The front desk people were accommodating and easily aided us with any questions we had. Such a wonderful day and such a pleasure to meet James, the owner. It is really a lovely hotel.

Se ti piace una stanza di stile giapponese, questa è una buona scelta per te. Non abbiamo ricevuto la vista del Lakeview come abbiamo controllato tardi, ma abbiamo provato il loro bagno pubblico (per l'uomo solo) Cerchiamo di acquistare colazione sul sito, ma è completamente prenotato così meglio con il colazione insieme quando si prenota. La posizione è molto vicina alla città del castello.

it’s my fav dormy inn so far. literally 30 steps from JR station and bus/taxi stops, while the station has souvenir shop, convenience store/atm, locker, a resto. room with separate sink, second door blocking outside sound, a tiny stool for eating, plus their signature top-floor public bath. outside the hotel some trees where birds gather every evening. if they can clean the air-con more frequently i’d be even happier.
