Quanji Hotel, Xiangyang review I spent two nights at Quanji Hotel in Xiangyang, and I left with a mix of impressions some solid wins, one or two quirks, and a sense that this place knows what travelers like me actually want after a long day of sightseeing or meetings. First impressions - Exterior and lobby: Modern, clean, and uncluttered. The lobby feels calm, not trying too hard to impress you, which is nice after a long train ride. The check-in process was smooth, with staff who spoke enough English to help, but not so much that you felt talked down to. - Location: Pretty convenient depending on what you’re here for. It isn’t in the center of Xiangyang’s busiest streets, but you’re within a comfortable walk or short ride to key spots, plus there are eateries nearby that aren’t overhyped tourist traps. Room and comfort - The room itself was a solid 4-star vibe: tidy, well-lit, and surprisingly quiet for a hotel in what feels like a busy area. The bed was comfortable—firm enough to support a good night’s sleep but soft enough that you don’t feel like you’re lying on a board. - Amenities: Decent desk space if you’re traveling for work, reliable Wi-Fi, and a reasonable layout. Really pleased with this hotel. The staff are friendly and helpful. The room itself is very nice - fresh, modern, clean, comfortable. Location is convenient in close walking distance to the train station and the bus station to Grand Canyon, Suobuya, etc. There are convenience stores and restaurants just outside/behind the hotel - plenty of choice. Buffet breakfast is standard Chinese, and starts serving at 6:30am. Very satisfied.

This hotel/retreat is an incredibly special place, and I feel so grateful to have come across it in my travels, as it will hold a special place in my memory! I have a strong feeling that I will be back (possibly many times!) in the future. I cannot say enough good things about it, whether it be the beautiful architectural design of the buildings and landscaping of the property, the gorgeous cafe, the zen-like room aesthetic, the calm and nourishing atmosphere of the whole place, the incredibly kind staff, and the nourishing and delicious food (which is made with great attention and care paid to the ingredients (most of which are grown on the farm), and their healing principles according to the elements and Chinese medicine nutrition)). There are free evening healing offerings too, including sound healing, card reading, and other thing, which bring guests together to experience collectively as well, in a beautiful retreat center room. The cafe/lobby building is such a pretty and welcoming space, one could easily spend hours enjoying a conversation or reading a book, or petting one of the many adorable cats that roam the property. Even walking along the meandering path to the hotel from the main road is a beautiful experience, winding through tea fields in this magical valley at the base of steep mountains surrounding it. I have stayed at a number of hotels in China during my travels, but this place is by far my favorite of all of them, for its authentic feel and heartfelt warmth. It truly is a uniquely powerful place for healing and restoration, nestled in such a picturesque, quiet hillside of Wudang mountain!!

五一開了七個多小時車來到山裡，真的有被驚喜到，環境太好了。選的星空房，兒子非常喜歡，房間有點小，但是很温馨，對於我們來説，這是一次神奇的體驗。第二天下雨，一起床就看到雲海，誰懂呀，從海邊到山裡這是多大的驚喜。如果在附近居住的話，應該會經常帶孩子來玩。附近有茶旅小鎮可以體驗採茶和炒茶製茶的過程。本來想多住一晚沒有房了，民宿地方很大，假期雖然很忙，但是民宿的服務態度都非常好，可以用餐，餐食味道不錯也優惠，值得推薦。
