India: hotel con spa nella provincia di Goa

The location of Riva is excellent. Right on the quietest part of the beach, but still very accessible to beach shacks and restaurants. There are 3 pools on the premises and the spa services are great. Check in and check out was so smooth. I really wish I could rate Riva higher because it’s a beautiful resort with hospitable staff and it has the potential to be very relaxing. However the food was a huge letdown. Goa is known as an amazing culinary experience, and I wish Riva was able to offer food that was upto Goan standards. I ordered a soup at the cafe and it was substandard to say the least. The sambhar and veg gravy the next morning was watered down and then over salted. Fortunately my resourceful family was able to find some amazing food options outside the hotel. There’s work to do and I will wait to hear of better food reviews before I recommend or visit again.

In ogni caso, è stato bello conoscere il luogo, mangiando colazione al caffè e divertendoci davvero, quindi abbiamo deciso di prenotare due notti all'hotel. La piscina era molto buona, ma era chiusa una delle due giorni che ci siamo fermati. La stanza era abbastanza spaziosa e pulita. I punti meno sono stati la mancanza di AC (c'è un fan sul tetto ma non c'è un AC corretto) e anche il modo in cui siamo quasi gettati fuori dalla stanza. Su trip.com dice che il check-out dovrebbe essere tra le 10:30 e le 11:30, e alle 09:45 qualcuno dall'hotel è già arrivato a colpire alla nostra porta! Stavamo solo imballando gli ultimi articoli e gli dicendo che pensavamo di avere ancora un po' di tempo, a quello che ha risposto al check-out è alle 10:00... e poi si fermò davanti alla stanza finché non siamo pronti a partire! Anche l'internet era molto debole nel nostro cottage nel giardino posteriore. Due problemi che sono facilmente risolibili, tuttavia. L'hotel poteva fare in modo di cambiare il tempo di check-out in viaggio. Venite a trovare un router aggiuntivo per le camere dietro.

Forse il miglior hotel a Candolim. È a fondo dell'edificio, alla spiaggia fino a 15 minuti, ma c'è un'auto all'hotel che vi porterà (alla spiaggia). Proprio accanto a voi potete prendere un motociclista, e siete liberi come il vento. In generale, ovviamente, è l'oasi di freddo e calma nel caldo e sporco Goa. Le camere sono belle, non vestite, ma non è la cosa più importante. La piscina in generale è ok, c'è un bar con i prezzi di x2, ma tollerabile. Le colazioni sono molto buone: c'è una scelta sul menu, + linea di piatti indiani, anche in presenza di buon caffè, frutta, pancake, waffles, tutti troveranno qualcosa di proprio. Il allenatore - modesto, ma per trovare ciò che divertirsi è possibile: 2 tracce, elli (come, peso libero, un paio di allenatori. Wayfay non è cattivo, tira veloce. Viviamo per 5.5k/night - il prezzo dell'hotel è una storia di favola. Se mi ritroverò a Astor - penso di sì. Se scegliete tra Radisson e Hayat (almeno) - Astor è certamente.

Начну с лучшего: персонаж шикарный, начиная со входа и все с кем нам довелось взаимодействовать, вежливые, улыбчивые, искреннее настроены помочь и максимально удовлетворить все ваши адекватные потребности - это просто пушка, мегареспект. Приезжали всего на ночь с семьёй, это была вынужденная остановка, но к отелю это отношения не имеет, утром на завтраке нам приготовили лучший за все время омлет с молоком, потом мы спросили кашу, которой не было и какао, парнишка даже не знал что это такое, загуглил и нам все сделали! Территория красивая, дорога на пляж приятная, номера прекрасные!  Песок на пляже мелкий, скрипучий как снег - просто рай!! Ну и минусы которые требуют категорического внимания: 1. Пол в номере был ОЧЕНЬ грязным, мы приехали поздно вечером, уложили детей, приняли душ, ходили там по номеру, а утром посмотрели на свои ноги и офигели. Жена ради прикола взяла салфетку и провела по полу - лучше бы этого не видеть🤣 2. В бассейне очень чистая вода, сам бассейн с разной глубиной, очень комфортно - НО, в детской, более мелкой, зоне бассейна просто невозможно находиться, очень сильно тянет мочой из туалетов, прям воняет именно на уровне воды и метр выше. Если отплыть в противоположный конец, там все хорошо, проветривает.  3. Мы с проблемой не столкнулись, но мне кажется маловато лежаков на бассейне и пляже(8 шт), возможно пляжные лежаки больше актуальны для европейцев, тогда должно хватить.

Well maintained property with eateries & stores in walking distance. Professional staff. Clean room. Service & amenities are of a typical 3-star+ category hotel. ...... It is not a beach-touch property. Although, both Ashwem & Morjim beaches are close by.

Un hotel così bello e bello. Il personale è utile e si trova a un'altra chilometria. Sono stato disgustoso di osservare diverse scadenze in etichetta di pool che hanno compromesso la reputazione dell'azienda che altrimenti era stata apprezzata. Gli ospiti sono stati visti entrare nella piscina in attrezzi inappropriati, come i pigiama e le mutandine , che non solo sono invisibili ma sollevano anche preoccupazioni per l'igiene. Inoltre, la presenza di bambini nei diapers nella zona della piscina è insalubre, soprattutto quando è disponibile una piscina designata per bambini. Questa sorveglianza non solo influisce sulla pulizia della piscina, ma anche comporta rischi per la salute di tutti gli ospiti. Il disaccordo per l'etichetta di piscina stabilita è stato significativamente detratto dalla lussuosa esperienza prevista in un 5-star stabilimento. Le condizioni sanitarie e la mancanza di applicazione delle politiche di piscina non solo hanno ridotto la qualità del soggiorno, ma hanno anche sollevato preoccupazioni circa l'impegno dell'hotel a favore del benessere degli ospiti e della soddisfazione.

All staff were great. Facilities were great. Housekeeping gave us mosquito repellent so we could sleep peacefully. Rooms were spacious and clean. Only issue was during breakfast as it is quite chaotic, but I would blame the guests for that as many don't have common courtesy. Some are picking food with their fingers directly from the buffet and not using utensils provided. Some are standing close to the buffet and eating their meals without any concern for other guests. Overall a great stay and would definitely stay again.

It was a comfortable stay. It is far from anything with only 2 restaurants to choose from. There is a small swimming pool to relax in on the roof. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was sufficient but a little hit and miss.

The Vivanta Goa Panaji is an excellent hotel. My wife and I travelled from the US to visit in Goa. The hotel has an excellent location near the Campal Gardens and is a very walkable location. We walked to Fontainhas and into the city area several times. The rooms are well appointed and very comfortable. The hotel provided plenty of bottled water, more than we could use. The pool area on the rooftop is a great place to cool off and relax after touring, and the food/drink selections and service were very good. Our booking included the breakfast buffet, which I HIGHLY recommend. There was a very large selection of food, including western /continental, Chinese and Indian. There must be over 30 things to choose from, including whatever type of eggs you could think of, waffles, pancakes, dosas, etc. The quality was excellent, the hot food was hot and cold food was cold. We also ate at the hotel at least one evening for the buffet. It was also extremely extensive and high quality and a very reasonable price. The staff was amazing and the servers truly took an interest in making sure we were happy. They made suggestions for what to try, and if you let them know you are an adventurous eater, they will help you to experience something new and exciting to taste. The hotel is part of the Taj group, and their attention to quality and service is apparent. We will definitely stay at the Vivanta the next time we are in Goa.
