Nuova Zelanda: hotel con bar nella provincia di Canterbury

A decent hostel in a not-so-far location from the centre. The kitchen and common areas are specious enough and kept clean daily regardless of careless people that were not taught how to clean after themselves. There’s parking available free of charge which is great with an alternative to park on neighbouring streets if full. The beds are not the best, very wobbly and noisy when you turn or tried to climb up. Separate sockets and lights by each bed are great. There are lockers but you need your own bad lock. Staff was polite and friendly.

Ero un po' deluso. Mi aspettavo che questo fosse un posto di cinque stelle, ma c'erano molte cose che non erano di sicuro cinque stelle. I vestiti erano grigi e non coprivano le persone più grandi. Uno di loro aveva rovinato tutto, non volevo nemmeno indossarlo. La porta del bagno si svegliava forte, quindi se una persona si alzò al bagno a metà della notte, svegliava l'altra persona. Erano istruzioni su come usare il bagno, ma non su come mettere il piatto. Non solo piatto in normale. Non potevamo usarlo la nostra prima notte, che era molto frustrante, perché era una delle nostre principali attrazioni. Qualcuno è venuto a guardare e ha detto che dovevi girare un'apertura sul lato della spa, come poteva sapere? La chiusura sulla porta esterna era rotta e una piccola chiusura era stata messa in posizione. Perché non riparare la chiusura principale? Usai i bagni al lato della biblioteca e quando mi lavo le mani, il tappo era tutto libero e svolto intorno. Tutte queste cose sono poche, ma dimostra che l'alloggio ha bisogno di avere le cose fissate o aggiornate. Per $300 per notte, si aspetta il meglio. La cosa peggiore era la nostra ultima mattina, abbiamo fatto colazione circa le 8:45, il ristorante si chiude alle 9:30. Erano continentali e uova e bacon scrambled. A circa le 9:00 hanno smesso di portare più pane per tosta. Non sono stati portati più croissant, uova o bacon. Ci sono stati circa 6 tavoli con gli ospiti e tutti hanno continuato a salire e a controllare, ma non hanno riempito. La gente diceva che devono aver scappato da cibo! Ma per qualche ragione il cameriere ha continuato a sollevare i cassetti all'uovo e al bacon per vedere cosa c'era, ma naturalmente non c'era niente come non l'aveva riempito e era l'unico cameriere!! Ero davvero deluso e non lo consiglierei, a meno che non ti sia offerto un buon sconto.

When requesting a drinking mineral water, they only only give each person a (350 ml) small bottle. End up we are busy looking for a convinence store to buy more drinking water. As a 5 Star hotel brand , a request for a drinking water should not being rejected

Stayed at Wyndham Garden Christchurch and overall had a very good experience. The room was clean and comfortable, and the staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The breakfast was decent, with a reasonable selection to start the day. The location was convenient and the facilities were well maintained. A couple of minor drawbacks were that complimentary bottled water was not provided in the room, and parking costs an additional $20 per night, which would have been nice to have included. Overall, a pleasant stay and I would happily consider staying here again.

It was clean, however our room initially had a drainage smell emanating from the drainage system, although it was immediately fixed after reporting… service was great as well

La posizione era estremamente conveniente e potevamo essere al check-in dell'aeroporto entro 5 minuti dall'uscita dell'hotel. La stanza era spaziosa, il bagno era molto pulito, il personale era gentile e utile, e c'era una stazione di riempimento d'acqua a nostro livello che era molto conveniente. La prima pianta era anche una scala di pesatura dei bagagli che ci permetteva di misurare i bagagli prima di tornare. In generale, una buona esperienza di soggiorno in questo hotel e consiglia fortemente a chiunque voli fuori Christchurch di rimanere qui.

Grazie alla splendida squadra di Chateau sul parco – DoubleTree da Hilton per rendere così memorabile la nostra celebrazione di compleanno. Abbiamo apprezzato davvero e non possiamo aspettare di visitare di nuovo!

The hotel was truly amazing and a wonderful place to call home for a few nights. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything! Oven, microwave, dishwasher, stove, utensils…everything! We were pleasantly surprised that there was a washing machine and dryer too! There is a working fireplace and the views were stunning ❤️Ours was the two bedroom villa; one room has a bathroom attached with a jacuzzi tub and the other bathroom is not attached to the second bedroom. This bathroom has a shower only, no tub. The second bedroom is actually two super singles joined together so you could possibly request for that configuration. We found that the shower stall in the smaller bathroom has a poor design as water flows from the shower through the grooves between floor tiles and makes the whole place wet. This was perhaps the only down side to this place. The good at the restaurant is reasonably priced and wonderful quality. The location of the hotel is strategic for trekking to the Rakaia Gorge and also for driving to Edoras (or Mt Sunday) where LOTR’s filming took place.

Il personale amichevole della ricezione ha offerto un traghetto per complimenti all'aeroporto la mattina prossima, un servizio che non avevo notato era disponibile. Il personale si è davvero accolto, e mi ha fatto sentire benvenuto; e le cose che mi hanno fatto pensare erano offrire una bottiglia di latte fresco, che era un toccamento inaspettato ma bello, e l’assistenza nel trasporto dei bagagli sia nella stanza che a bordo del furgone. Tutti questi piccoli atti di gentilezza mi hanno fatto sentire così benvenuto, soprattutto la mia notte scorsa in Nuova Zelanda. :)

Una posizione centralissima. Dall'hotel si possono raggiungere a piedi tutti i principali luoghi di interesse di Christchurch. Proprio accanto ai Giardini Botanici, la nostra camera aveva una splendida vista sui Giardini dalla finestra. Alice alla reception è stata molto gentile e ci ha suggerito un ottimo itinerario a piedi per raggiungere i principali punti di interesse, indicandoci anche alcuni ottimi ristoranti, che abbiamo provato e trovato davvero ottimi. Il letto era comodissimo (e siamo molto esigenti con i letti). Questo la dice lunga. Sarebbe stato meglio se avessero fornito una cassaforte in camera per custodire i nostri oggetti di valore.
