Nuova Zelanda: hotel con bar nella provincia di Canterbury

Una posizione centralissima. Dall'hotel si possono raggiungere a piedi tutti i principali luoghi di interesse di Christchurch. Proprio accanto ai Giardini Botanici, la nostra camera aveva una splendida vista sui Giardini dalla finestra. Alice alla reception è stata molto gentile e ci ha suggerito un ottimo itinerario a piedi per raggiungere i principali punti di interesse, indicandoci anche alcuni ottimi ristoranti, che abbiamo provato e trovato davvero ottimi. Il letto era comodissimo (e siamo molto esigenti con i letti). Questo la dice lunga. Sarebbe stato meglio se avessero fornito una cassaforte in camera per custodire i nostri oggetti di valore.

The rooms are very compact, and have everything you need apart from a cooking area. There is a fridge though. There is storage under the bed and good air conditioning. You can also have access to a laundry room and parking around the corner for an extra charge. With a bar and restaurant downstairs and it's central location it's perfect for exploring the city. The staff are very friendly and supportive too.

E' stata la mia prima volta che ero in un doppio albero e mi sorprendeva tanto con il cookie all'arrivo! La stanza era spaziosa e pulita. Il buffet per colazione era anche ben riempito. Sicuramente tornerà.

Ho soggiornato in diversi hotel Novotel, tra cui quello nel centro di Christchurch. Dopo aver avuto un volo presto il giorno dopo, abbiamo scelto l'aeroporto Novotel Christchurch per la comodità. La posizione è eccellente, proprio vicino all'aeroporto e molto vicino al ritorno dell'affitto, che ha reso il nostro viaggio molto più facile. La stanza era pulita e confortevole, anche se le strutture erano limitate. Per esempio, i pantaloncini non erano stati forniti e dovevano essere acquistati, che era sorprendente perché sono molto essenziali. Non mi importava di non avere oggetti come spazzole o sacchetti da denti, ma i pantaloncini avrebbero dovuto essere apprezzati. On the positive side, the Wi‑Fi connection was stable, and the hotel’s Food Exchange restaurant was a highlight, serving delicious food with a panoramic view of the airport. In generale, un soggiorno confortevole con un grande pasto, anche se le strutture in ‑ possono essere migliorate.

I am writing to formally express my profound disappointment and dissatisfaction with the service provided by the Crowne Plaza hotel in Christchurch, New Zealand. My booking was for 5 rooms to accommodate a group of 9 family and friends, including young children and elderly members. Understanding that our group had specific needs, I proactively contacted the hotel in advance via email to politely request the possibility of an early check-in. The hotel’s response was both disappointing and unreasonable. They stated that an early check-in was not possible and suggested that if we wanted rooms available upon our arrival, we should book and pay for an additional night for the previous day. This response felt exploitative, implying that rooms were available but only for an additional charge, rather than as a gesture of goodwill or customer care. Accepting this, we adjusted our plans and arrived at the hotel after 3:00 PM, the official check-in time. To our great frustration, none of our five rooms were ready. The first room was only made available at 3:30 PM, and the last room was not provided until 4:30 PM—a full 90 minutes after the guaranteed check-in time. This caused significant inconvenience, discomfort, and stress for our group, especially given the presence of young children and elderly individuals who were tired after travel. As a loyal customer of the IHG brand who has stayed at their properties across Asia, I have always trusted their standards of hospitality. Unfortunately, this experience at the Crowne Plaza Christchurch represents the worst service I have ever encountered from IHG. The combination of an unaccommodating and profit-driven response to a reasonable request, followed by a failure to meet even the basic check-in commitment, reflects poorly on both the hotel and Trip.com as the booking agent.

The room was up 2 flights of stairs - no lift so a struggle with heavy suitcases. Room clean but felt the bathroom & especially the shower floor was very slippy when wet, felt very unsafe using the shower !! Might be ok for younger guests but not one I would recommend for older guests

Avevo un buon soggiorno qui! L'albero bagpacker era pulito, comodo e aveva un'atmosfera molto amichevole. Il personale era utile e la posizione era conveniente per esplorare la zona. Conosceva molti viaggiatori fantastici durante il mio soggiorno. Sicuramente consigliere per i viaggiatori di bilancio!

La guardia comune, il luogo è buono, la strada può andare al supermercato, fornire parcheggio gratuito. È un bar sottostante. In generale, i passeggeri sono più adatto per sciare, la famiglia è più inconveniente

Great location. Room was massive with extra seating near the windows and a California King size bed. Bathroom was also a decent size with great shower pressure. Parking was included which made visiting convenient snd we were let in and out through automatic sensors. Cocktails in Bloody Mary’s the bar were also very very good with incredibly knowledgeable and skilled staff. I’d stay again.

Great location and clean, comfortable room. The staff were friendly and helpful. It’s easy to walk to nearby restaurants, supermarkets, and attractions. Really enjoyed my stay!
