Il personale del front desk non ascolta le preoccupazioni degli ospiti, ma piuttosto argomenta solo per proteggere gli interessi dell'hotel e non si preoccupano mai delle vostre denunce. Il giorno della mia arrivo mi fece attendere 3 ore, anche se sono arrivato 3 ore dopo il normale check-in in tempo, hanno trascorso le 3 ore a discutere del mio pagamento online che era già stato fatto Trip.com ma hanno detto che non potevano trovare il payment history quando in realtà non avevano la pazienza di leggere bene il sistema e localizzare la storia del pagamento ma piuttosto mi ha chiesto di pagare di nuovo per le prenotazioni che erano effettivamente pagate online fino a quando dovevo mostrare loro come leggere il sistema per chiedere le informazioni (avevo comunicato con trip.com con lamentele e mostrato il pagamento ricevuto all'hotel e non potevano ancora rispettare finché non le ho mostrato come leggere le informazioni sul proprio computer;prima che potessi essere autorizzato a controllare). Inoltre, al colazione, mi è stato fatto pagare di nuovo dopo aver prenotato una stanza con due colazioni incluse, ma l'hotel si è rifiutato di capire e anche dopo aver mostrato le informazioni di prenotazione sul sistema che indicavano chiaramente colazione X2 al giorno, quindi sono finito pagando di nuovo per il colazione per evitare vergogna. Il personale del ristorante era molto poco professionale e insufficiente per l'igiene (la spada del pane era caduta al pavimento e uno di loro l'ha presa e l'ha gettata direttamente nel paniere senza sostituirla o pulirla prima di mettere in Pane). Il segno ”NO DISTAURARE” non significa niente per la squadra di pulizia che continuamente ha colpito la porta perché volevano prendere il ferro o prendere il lavandino anche senza una precedente richiesta di tali servizi. Non ho mai visto in nessuna parte del mondo dove il personale dell'hotel compete con gli ospiti dell'hotel per prendere gli ascensori (ascensore) lasciando gli ospiti in attesa dei prossimi (hahahaha). Il personale era inamichevole e brutto.

This is the worst Hotel I have encountered in my entire life. Where do i even start, from the front desk to the rooms, nothing speaks of class or hotel service. The front desk are not polite very rude and do not have an atom of customer service in them, please stay in the hotel at your own perils. The hotel claims to be a 4 star hotel but in my opinion it is worse it is a disgrace to what 4 star stands for, how can a hotel refuse to change your bed linen but changes it every 2 days, this already tells you that the staff are lazy and speaks poorly of hygiene. Even a 1 star hotel changes the bed linen daily and offers you a new towel. Restaurant is poorly run, the chef thinks he is a master chef, please re train your staff, Breakfast options are so poor you will want to vomit, the food all have no taste, use ingredients like ginger and garlic in your food for taste. A four star hotel that does not even have waffles, scrambled eggs, or sausages and bacon, and no working coffee machine, is a disgrace to a 4 star brand. Please avoid this hotel it will suck the life out of you, and you will see the literal definition of unprofessionalism.

Currently staying here for what we thought would be a relaxing few days at a nice brand in between more rustic accommodations in remote destinations. Staying here was a huge mistake. Having stayed at many Sofitels, this is absolutely the worst I’ve ever seen. Was fooled by the overall positive rating here and brand recognition and booked without reading the negative reviews. Booked a junior suite and arrived late from a flight, only to take a shower that flooded the bathroom within 2 minutes because the drain was clogged. Disgusting- called reception from the toilet telephone as it was the only one that worked, and was told there was nothing they could do tonight as they were fully booked. Next day we switched rooms after they insisted on confirming the drain couldn’t be fixed. Sure enough, after an hour waiting on maintenance, it could not be fixed. New room and the safe was broken. It is one thing after another here. The hall ways seem to be under construction, and the gym is absolutely dreadful. This is an expensive hotel and it in no way justifies its cost. Between here and the Pullman or Novotel, definitely choose them over the Sofitel. You will pay more money here and be much worse off. While the staff tries to fix the problems, they are under equipped for this losing battle of a hotel. Really wish we could just get our money back for night 2 and move to the Pullman.

Je suis ravi d'avoir séjourné dans cet hôtel à Abidjan. L'emplacement est très pratique, étant donné sa proximité avec les grands magasins et la multitude de restaurants alentours. Le personnel était extrêmement accueillant, souriant et professionnel, ce qui a grandement contribué à rendre mon séjour agréable. Les chambres étaient confortables et propres, avec tout le nécessaire pour passer un bon séjour. J'ai particulièrement apprécié le petit-déjeuner qui était délicieux et varié. Je recommande vivement cet hôtel pour ceux qui cherchent un lieu de séjour agréable et pratique à Abidjan

Excellent 3-star hotel, with an enticing value for money ratio. The hotel premises are situated in a highly strategic position, not far from the airport (current fare by taxi 3000 FCFA max.) and really close to the lively areas of Marcory/Zone 4C and Koumassi. Both the PRIMA and Cap Sud shopping centres are within walking distance. Rooms are clean, quiet and comfy, completely aligned with the usual Ibis standards. Very good A/C. Powerful free WiFi. Local and international TV chains available, also in English language. A well kept medium-size outdoor swimming pool is available (hotel guests only), as well as a restaurant and a 24/24, 7/7 bar. Staff are polite, friendly and ready to help whenever needed. Throughout our stay my family and I felt very safe thanks to the effective security measures in place. Covid-19 prevention and protection protocols fully applied. This hotel has definitely become the basis for our future stays in Abidjan!

The hotel offers a complimentary shuttle from the airport, and they reportedly have staff waiting for you with a hotel sign after customs. My travel agent had informed the hotel of my arrival, but when I exited customs, no-one was there. After a 16-minute wait and some phone calls, the driver arrived. Traffic in Abidjan can be heavy, it took us about 45 minutes to reach the hotel Check-in was quick and friendly, and the receptionist spoke some English although to my surprise many other staff members did not; there was a constant language barrier. However, in the restaurant, they always had someone there who knew English well enough. My room on the 10th floor was rather small for a five-star. The bed was comfortable and there were sockets by the bed, and in addition, there was a coffee table, an armchair, a desk, a fridge, a safe and a 0.5 L water bottle in the room. A/C worked well. Overlapping curtains helped keep the light out in the morning. The room was recently renovated, in very good condition and felt fresh and clean. Wifi was free, unlimited, easy to use, fast and reliable. The bathroom came with an overhead as well as a hand-held shower, no bathtub. The shower worked nicely the first night, with ample hot water and great water pressure. However, for the next 55 hours, the hotel experienced immense trouble with their water system, and all I could get for two whole days was cold water and an awful water pressure. Taking a shower was almost impossible. First, they promised to fix it by 10 am, then noon, then 5 pm, then 10 pm and after that there were no promises anymore, and no compensation offered, either. I requested complimentary breakfast, which I got on two mornings. In the end, the problem was fixed after 55 hours. Amenities in the bathroom included slippers and a bathrobe as well as single-use shampoo, shower gel, body lotion and a bar of soap. No conditioner. I appreciate the single-use items as I don't find the wall-mounted containers – that so many hotels nowadays use in order to save money – hygienic. In addition, there was a shoeshining sponge, much needed in dusty Abidjan. Breakfast was served in the ground floor restaurant from 6:30 to 10. The buffet cost 16 000 CFA, which is a lot, but by African standards, the buffet was very good and items such as cheeses and ham were of high quality. There were several hot items as well as an egg station with omelettes served to the table. Cold items included all the basics as well as several types of salads and some Arabian items. I did not have dinner in the restaurant, but ordered room service a couple of times. The food came quickly and was of high quality. By Western standards, prices are fair even if they are very high for locals. There is a small swimming pool with surprisingly cool water on the mezzanine floor, open all day. The hotel is located in the Plateau business district, two blocks north of the most central area. I found the location good, and reaching other neighbo

The positive:the rooms are functionnal, good bedding, crisp air con, WIFI working, hotel is tidy. Room for improvement: The restaurant and bar: food is average at best. severla items are running out and are not available( ie : draught beer on a saturday evening- sliced bread on a thursday @20:30 depsite the restaurant advertising promotions on sandwiches). My biggest issue was with Breakfast: coffee machines ( both) out of order on a few occasions- shortage of juice- stale pastry on a sunday morning(!??). Room cleanlyness: small details such as water marks on the balck painted door of the bathroom ( not a train smash- it just gives a negative impression). Overall an ok business hotel on a budget, nicely located in the cneter of Abidjan.
