This room has two windows, one is in the bedroom and this one is on your picture, Second window is In living room and has a direct sea view, no wall view. - This is not a sea view. This is a view with a little bit of water in it. I ask you to visit rooms with true sea views and you will notice the difference. The people viewing reviews online can judge for themselves. 2. We are suprised by your claim about constant noise during the night because of cleaning activites and general foot traffic in the reception area. First because you didn't mentioned it during your stay and during check-out, and second reason is because we never clean during the night and only one receptionist is in the reception area in this time and there is no possibility of any traffic on the reception. - There are c. Four rooms next to reception. The halls echo. To us it sounded like cleaning. If it was not cleaning, then I advise your staff to be more quiet at night. 3. Puteus Palace is situated near the main church and as Croatia is catholic country so the local habit is that church bell are ringing every hour from 6 am – 11 pm to present time of the day and on Sudays they ring longer to celebrate mass. As you came on Sunday evening to the reception and claimed about bell ringing it was explained it to you that on Sunday the bells ring a bit longer during the day. - it was explained after check out. I advise you inform guests prior to check in. 4. Our receptionist offered you twice assistance with the luggage wich you refused as well. - I would not have provided this feedback if it was not true. It appears that you are calling me a liar which I take great offence to. No assistance was offered. I am appalled that this is your reply. I would have been fine to carry my luggage but you let my girlfriend carry her luggage alone without assistance. I do not expect any compensation for what was a hugely disappointing stay. Your email has magnified what are glaring inadequacies in your offering. Thank you for taking the time to reply but I find your reply totally inadequate and inaccurate.

Nice hotel but only if you can get it around 250 euro per night - any more and it’s probably expensive for what it is but hey it’s Hvar and nothing is cheap The rooms are nice and AC works well The Breakfast is very good and Marko and his team really go above and beyond The location is excellent right on a little beach which is free but chairs need to be rented and a 10 min walk along the boardwalk to old town Now the bad The reception don’t really seem to care about the guest and are actually pretty rude Second day HK didn’t come when we asked reception we were told did we ask for HK ? Which was strange thing to say really when the day before we had it It then took hours to get the room cleaned and follow up visits for towels and soap On the last day we left our bags and arranged the free ferry pick up and drop bag service (which you don’t know about until you arrive) we asked what time would the bags leave so we can change first the said 3.30pm when we got back at 3 the bags were gone and they said sorry we were busy so we had to walk to the ferry in our swimwear as we planed to change It’s only a small matter but shows how they really don’t care and say what they like

My boyfriend and I stayed at Hotel Amphora from December 31, 2025 to January 3, 2026, and our experience exceeded all expectations. From the very beginning, we were warmly and professionally welcomed at check-in, which made us feel immediately at ease. The room was very spotless, and the sea view was absolutely breathtaking — truly a dream. Everything was perfectly arranged and exactly as we had hoped. A special mention goes to the housekeeping staff, who were consistently friendly, attentive, and very helpful. The breakfast buffet deserves particular praise: it was one of the largest, most diverse, and highest-quality selections we have ever experienced. Due to how much we enjoyed our stay, we decided to extend it by one additional night, which was arranged quickly and without any issues. We can highly recommend Hotel Amphora and would happily return in the future.☺️

Fantastic hotel, 5 minute walk from the ferry terminal and bus station. The resort is small but makes for a quiet holiday which is exactly what we were looking for. We were upgraded to the harbour suite which is a stunning room, although no balcony, didn’t bother us, just to make others aware. Shower gel and shampoo are Ritual branded and smell lovely. The food is fabulous, breakfast is buffet style and dinner (for half boarders) is chosen off the menu. Really high quality and believe they were Michelin recommended for 2024. They even gave us a breakfast bag as we were checking out very early. The staff are fantastic, very friendly and can’t do enough for you. This was the case from reception, restaurant to the roof top bar. All were great. The rooftop bar was a brilliant place to sit and watch the sunset and the ferry coming and going. The pool is covered and heated with a separate area for sunbathing. There’s also a couple of saunas you can use. The smallest gripe, it would be good to trim the top of the trees which blocked the view from the sun terrace. Would absolutely stay here again for a chilled and relaxing holiday.

L'hotel è vicino alla chiesa e alla baia, è vicino alle negozi, ma poi è piuttosto difficile trovare prima e piuttosto difficile arrivare là quando si dispone di coz tante bagagli la macchina non può accedere all'interno coz è all'interno di una piccola strada. La stanza ha una bella vista e puzza così bene (ma è troppo forte). In qualche modo è pulita ma ho visto un piccolo cazzo. Il wifi non può raggiungere la nostra stanza nemmeno se la nostra stanza è solo al primo piano. In generale era tutto a posto. Il letto è così comodo e le mutandine. Ma il coz è così strano che si dovrebbe essere una grande per 1 grande letto e per coppie, ma poi il cot è due piccole e sono separati. E anche lo specchio, non mi piace quando lo specchio è riflessibile nel letto. Per fengshui non è sano coz ti farà malato. Ma in generale, l'hotel è buono e il prezzo è piuttosto costoso. La piscina è solo ok.

The pool is fantastic, the food was consistently excellent, and the rooms were quiet, modern, and exceptionally well soundproofed. The small fridge, powerful shower, and comfortable bed made it easy to relax after a day exploring Brač. Hotel Milna Osam exceeded our expectations in every way. We will absolutely be returning and would happily recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful, high-quality stay in Croatia.

We recently had an incredible stay at Hvar Places Hotel by Valamar in Stari Grad, and I must say, it was a fantastic experience for the whole family! My kids were absolutely delighted with everything the hotel had to offer – from the beautiful surroundings to the well-organized activities. The entire atmosphere was welcoming and relaxing, perfect for a family getaway. A special thank you goes to Mr. Ivan Polak, who truly went above and beyond in making our stay seamless and enjoyable. We arrived with a private boat, and his assistance made the entire process smooth and stress-free. His exceptional hospitality really set the tone for a memorable vacation. We can't wait to return and create more wonderful memories here!

La posizione è grande, le attrezzature buone, la vista molto bella dal ristorante e dalla piscina, il buon servizio, il buon colazione, il personale è bello. L'hotel è un po' troppo costoso per la dimensione, il comfort e la vista della stanza. Bevande e pasti sono anche costosi. I prezzi sono indebitamente elevati in tutta la città.

Molto bel hotel. Non a piedi di distanza dalla vecchia città, ma molto vicino se si prende un bolt. Un posto molto bello per colazione accanto all'hotel. Con il bar di tetto in estate, piscina al piano alto e jazucci. Spazioso camera. Molto raccomandato.
