Filippine: hotel con servizio colazione nella provincia di Davao (regione)

Recentemente ci siamo trasferiti a Discovery Samal, e in generale, è stata una esperienza molto piacevole e rilassante. Il resort stesso è bellissimo, pulito, moderno e ben mantenuto. Abbiamo davvero amato la nostra stanza e le strutture; tutto si sentiva comodo e di alta qualità. Le aree spiaggia e piscina sono anche grandi per il relax. Ebbene, c'è un po' di cose da notare: era molto caldo durante il giorno, e anche la zona di accoglienza (con solo i fan) si sentiva molto calda. Prima andammo al Salone di Malabar per bere mentre aspettavamo, e poi provammo a passare il tempo, tornammo alla ricezione due volte per seguire, ma la stanza non era ancora pronta. Abbiamo capito perché il check-in è alle 3:00, ma ci è stato detto che chiamarebbero una volta pronto, e non abbiamo ricevuto alcuna chiamata.Forse perché il segnale è debole in alcune aree (non c'è segnale all'interno della stanza di biliardo). Se non fossimo tornati alla ricezione alle 3 pm, non saremmo sinceramente a che ora ci sarebbe stato permesso di accedere. Il processo di accedere a questo hotel ci ha messo un po' di tempo e ci siamo riusciti a trovare nella nostra stanza alle 3:30 pm. Inoltre, poiché è un hotel di lusso, cibo e bevande sono atteso sul lato costoso. Nonostante questi, abbiamo ancora avuto un grande soggiorno. Il posto è perfetto per rilassarsi, e ci è davvero divertito l'esperienza in generale. Ci sarebbe ancora piacere tornare indietro, forse la prossima volta con la famiglia.

From the moment we arrived at Dusit Thani Residence Davao, we felt welcomed and well-taken care of. The lobby, though modest in size, exuded a calm charm and the check-in process was smooth. We were greeted warmly by staff who treated us with genuine hospitality — their attentiveness set the tone for our entire stay. Many previous guests also praised the staff’s politeness and readiness to help.  We stayed in a studio apartment, and it was nothing short of comfortable. The room came with a kitchenette, a coffee/tea maker, minibar, and free WiFi — extremely convenient whether you’re staying briefly or planning a longer stay.  The modern fittings and thoughtful layout made it easy to relax or be productive: there was enough space to move around, and everything was clean and well-kept. Cleanliness, indeed, stood out during our stay — a point frequently echoed by other guests.  One of the highlights was the leisure amenities. We took full advantage of the outdoor swimming pool — a serene little oasis perfect for a morning dip or evening unwind. The fitness centre, spa, and wellness offerings added to the sense of pampering. For those traveling with kids or family, there’s even a kids’ pool and a family-friendly vibe.  Breakfast and dining at the hotel also deserve special mention. The buffet breakfast was generous and satisfying — a great way to start a busy day in Davao. For lunch or dinner, the on-site restaurant served a mix of Thai, Asian, international, and European dishes, giving a variety that could cater to different tastes and dietary preferences.  The presence of a café and even a pastry/deli option made it easy to grab a light meal or snack without leaving the property.  Location is another strong suit for Dusit Thani Residence. It’s conveniently located near the airport, which is a big plus if you have early flights or late arrivals.  At the same time, it’s still close enough to city amenities, shopping, and other attractions — offering both convenience and comfort. Many guests appreciated this balance of accessibility and tranquility.  That said, no stay is perfect, and a few aspects could be improved. Some guests mentioned that certain rooms felt a bit cramped or that balcony areas were under-utilized due to cleanliness concerns.  There were occasional gripes about maintenance — for example, shower drains draining slowly or small furniture quirks — and a few found the elevator access between towers a bit awkward, especially if coming from parking.  A minority even felt the place fell short of 5-star expectations in certain respects.  Still, for us, these were minor blemishes compared to the overall positive experience. What stood out was how the hotel blends comfort, convenience, and courteous service with enough extras to feel like more than just a “place to sleep.” The pool, spa, and kitchen-equipped rooms make it a strong choice for families, couples, business travellers — essentially anyone who values a balance of luxury and practicality. In conclusion: if you’re looking for a stay in Davao that offers more than just four walls — a place that feels both refined and welcoming — Dusit Thani Residence Davao delivers. Its attentive staff, well-appointed rooms, great amenities, and strategic location combine into a memorable experience. Dusit Thani Lubi Plantation is a truly exceptional getaway that blends luxury with nature in the most beautiful way. The plantation setting is peaceful and lush, creating a calm and refreshing atmosphere from the moment you arrive. The villas are spacious, elegant, and thoughtfully designed, offering complete privacy and comfort. The staff are warm, attentive, and genuinely caring, making every guest feel welcomed and well looked after. Service throughout the stay is impeccable, with great attention to detail. The food is delicious, featuring fresh ingredients and well-crafted dishes that enhance the overall experience.

We enjoyed our stay very much! This is my first time in Davao, and this hotel is out of my expectations. It’s very clean, hotel staffs are very accommodating (no worries even if there’s no elevator because the staffs will help you carry your luggage), location is very accessible to city center! Overall, will definitely check in here again if we will be visiting Davao again soon.

We stayed at Crown Regency Residences for a week, and overall it was a great choice—especially for budget travelers with kids. One of the biggest highlights was the unlimited pool access until 10 PM every day, which our family really enjoyed. It made a huge difference in keeping the kids entertained without needing to go out and spend extra. The place offers hotel-like service, and the staff were consistently helpful and accommodating throughout our stay. While the building itself does show its age and could use some updates, it didn’t take away from the overall experience. If you’re traveling as a family and looking for something affordable with good amenities, this is definitely a place worth considering. Despite its older appearance, I would still choose to stay here again for a budget-friendly family trip.

Pearl Farm is like a paradise. Everything is pleasing to the eyes and to the tummy! Lechon is available every night. Staff are very friendly, accommodating and quick to respond to every request. My only complaint is their social media, phone and email responses. They respond very slow or none at all. 1. I asked for a transfer from Discovery Samal Welcome Center to their Marina Wharf. They said they will send a van at 1pm but there was none. I followed up thru trip dot com messages, no response. I called their mobile number, declined! Guess what, they replied saying they were on lunch break! We were in a hurry because we need to be in their wharf before 2pm per their instruction. Nada. Good thing we were able to ask Discovery Samal staff to bring us to Marina Wharf. 2. Boat transfer from wharf to resort was cancelled due to big waves. I understand. We were told we will be traveling by land. We rode a van, lined up to be transferred via RORO (yes, the ship transfer) which took us 2 freaking hours just for lining up!! And another hour to arrive at the resort. We travelled for 3 HOURS just to arrive at the resort. We lined up with other RORO passengers - with and without vehicles. We are staying in a 5 star resort but they cant do something to make the waiting/lining up in the RORO be a little faster?? I saw the driver paying 20/passenger for riding the RORO (not verified). Cant the resort pay a little extra for a fast lane or something similar? Idk! Just rly disappointed bcos we were traveling with a 3yr old! Ofcourse I messaged them regarding this thru email and yes, they DID NOT REPLY AGAIN. I wanted to rate them 5stars but their communication with guests is so bad. I worked in a hotel and every message from guests is taken very seriously.

Era un albergo di lunga tradizione, ma sembra che sia stato rinnovato in alcuni punti. Il ristorante è bellissimo. Stile buffet. Dato che mio figlio era stanco, abbiamo cenato in camera, ma il ristorante era pieno e ci è voluto un bel po' mentre per parlare al telefono. La camera era una grande camera familiare e, per qualche motivo, poteva ospitare 4 adulti e c'erano due letti king size, quindi sono stato fortunato in modo diverso. Ci sono molti servizi, tra cui asciugamani da bagno spessi, asciugamani per il viso e asciugamani. C'era una vasca da bagno e i bambini potevano divertirsi facendo il bagno, ma ci volevano 30 minuti perché l'acqua diventasse calda. Era confortevole con due nuovi condizionatori installati. Sono un giapponese che vive nelle Filippine per il secondo anno. Sebbene fosse un hotel di lunga data, sembra essere stato rinnovato ed è bellissimo. Bellissimo anche il ristorante. Mio figlio si è stancato, quindi ho rinunciato a mangiare al ristorante e ho cenato in camera, ma ho dovuto aspettare più di un'ora perché non riuscivo a prendere il telefono. Scegli una tipologia di camera familiare per 2 adulti e 1 bambino (3 anni). Per qualche motivo, c'erano abbastanza servizi per 4 adulti, asciugamani da bagno spessi, asciugamani per il viso e asciugamani per 4 persone e 2 letti king size, quindi sono stato fortunato in un modo diverso. Anche se era poco profondo, c'era una vasca da bagno, così i bambini potevano divertirsi facendo il bagno. Tuttavia, ho aspettato più di 30 minuti affinché l'acqua diventasse calda. Era comodo con due nuovi condizionatori d'aria. Se vuoi mangiare a buon mercato, Foodpanda offre anche servizi di consegna. È bello uscire, ma i gas di scarico sono terribili. Ho pensato che fosse un ottimo affare in quanto il costo totale era di poco più di 10.000 yen con colazione a buffet inclusa, check-in dalle 14:00 al check-out alle 12:00.

La stanza è pulita ogni giorno. I bagni e l'acqua con bottiglia sono riempiti ogni giorno. Bfast è soddisfacente. Il ristorante del tetto è un plus. Personale - molto amichevole e utile. Non c'è microonde per riscaldare il cibo. Non puoi portare il pomelo nella tua stanza a causa delle politiche sanitarie. Il lobby è in fase di rinnovamento, ma va bene.

it’s our first time staying at Mandaya Hotel, my kids love it, and the place is quite relaxing, the food is good and the stay was fine. Thank you, will definitely visit again.

La camera era pulita, spaziosa e molto comoda. Il letto era particolarmente accogliente, e il mantenimento della casa faceva un grande lavoro ogni giorno. Il servizio era eccellente, il personale era amichevole e veloce per aiutare.
