I have stayed at the Chateau before and it is good value as well as being an interesting building with many artistic features, there is also an outside pool. Generally, it’s clean but the rooms are a little dusty. The staff are helpful but on my previous stay the restaurant was shut due to staff problems. It was a disappointment but gave it a second chance. However, having booking again, I was told on arrival that the restaurant was not open on Mondays or Tuesdays. Please don’t be fooled by websites as every one I found stated that it was open on these days, so it’s a must to take this into account if you’ve had a long drive and do not want to dine out, you may well want to think again. It does seem to be under staffed as it can be difficult to find anyone if you would like an evening drink. You would either have to drive fifteen or so minutes into Macon where there are plenty of restaurants or if you prefer a village, drive in the other direction for less than ten minutes and there is a small restaurant next to the station called ‘Aux Dix Vins’ which I recommend and it’s open on Mondays and Tuesdays. The menu and quality is good, with some nice wines to accompany the food and the owner cares about how it’s run.

Super zimmer , super netter service , super pool 😍😍 Einziges manktum restaurant ist preis leistung absolut nicht angepasst. Ansonsten hat alles gepasst :) wir kommen wieder ,ziehen aber definitiv beim nächsten aufenthalt eine pizza in der bar vor . Das Essen war nicht der knaller im restaurant dagegen aber die preise 🫣zu verbessern

Excellent value.....first used 25 years ago...I think the rooms now need refreshing...... breakfasts excellent..... automated check-in could do with a bit more explanation during the booking confirmation... but all in all hard to beat for value

La frustrazione di essere svegliato in una stanza calda mi porta a scrivere questo recensione in mezzo alla notte mentre rimanendo ancora in questo hotel...siamo qui come parte di un grande gruppo di tour...Sembrava un luogo promettente, perché le docce erano grandi e l'hotel era in un bel posto localizzazione. Tuttavia, la nostra esperienza AC era contraria a quanto menzionato da un altro revisore in passato. Ci è stato assegnato una stanza di fronte a Occidente, in modo da immaginare quanto caldo la stanza è arrivata in un bel giorno di maggio e non è nemmeno giugno. Il mio termometro ha mostrato che la nostra stanza ha raggiunto circa 80 gradi Fahrenheit. Inizialmente qualcuno aveva guardato il nostro termostat dopo che siamo tornati circa 10:00 da essere fuori per 5 ore, mentre avevamo lasciato il nostro AC (o così pensavamo) per tenere la stanza fredda e pronta quando siamo tornati. Let’s chuck it up to operator error so had the AC reset and working so we can start cooling the room and fall sleep... was wake up to sweating 3 hours later at 1:30am as there was no air circulating and saw the AC power was shut off and the room was reading Se il termostat AC si avvicinasse di nuovo, dovrò vedere quanto tempo prima di chiudere di nuovo. Nota: abbiamo cercato di aprire le finestre, perché era molto più freddo fuori di notte...Tuttavia, essendo solo un piano al di sopra della strada, il rumore del treno/tram passando attraverso la strada e il rumore della strada con persone che parlano fuori non avrebbero avuto alcuna sono stati in grado di dormire.

Séjour très agréable , personnels souriant et à l'écoute, chambre spacieuse et décoration moderne . Le buffet petit déjeuner et correcte et le restaurant excellent à testé. Au niveau du spa il est bien juste le bassin et pas très grand . C'est dommage qu'il y a que 45 minutes par séjour ont devrait pouvoir en profiter plus pour un 5 étoiles. Je recommanderais

Have stayed here a number of times when travelling through France to and from our final destination in the South. Good hotel and very well situated in Chalon to access bars and restaurants of which there are plenty on offer. The hotel also has a private car park with a number of spaces which tends to be on a first come basis but we have never had problems with parking. Doggy friendly which is good for us with also a park across the road to exercise pooch. We have always had the same room which is extremely spacious with a large bathroom with shower and nice touches like toiletries supplied. Food good and breakfast selections great both hot and cold options. My only criticism is the air conditioning in the rooms just doesn’t work and during the hot weather we have been having the room was unbearably hot and made for an unpleasant nights rest. The public areas in the hotel seem to have better air conditioning and don’t feel as hot. Very friendly and welcoming hotel, would absolutely recommend. My only reason for the 4 stars is the very hot room.

The location is lovely. The parc is quite pleasant and walking to the center of town is easy. The hotel seems not to have been renovated since the 1980's. The woman at the front desk when we arrived was just lovely, very friendly. The room however was disappointing. Bathroom had not been well cleaned, dust on the tp holder, the shower curtain (yes, a thin white polyester shower curtain) was dirty at the edge. The carpet hadn't been changed in years. The room served its purpose for one night. Where the experience went even further downhill was dinner in the restaurant. We had a deluge that evening and my husband recommended we just eat at the hotel. I suspected this was not a good idea but ok. The food was dreadful; they had to re-heat his dish twice, the service was fine, they tried but could not make it work. Fortunately they had a very good bottle of wine that only slightly made up for the meal. So to summarize, best stay somewhere else in Besançon.

Beaune è sempre un buon punto di fermata, che è la metà della strada che si dirige verso il sud della Francia. Ho soggiornato a Hotel de La Paix per alcune volte a causa della sua posizione centrale nei ristoranti, parcheggio sicuro, qualità di servizio coerente. Il colazione è anche molto buono e ben prezzi. Ben fatto!
