We visit the Four Points by Sheraton, in Gu'an Langfang often. This was a particularly special visit, as there were numerous events to celebrate. Namely ”Mid Autumn Festival”, ”National Day” and my Birthday coincided during this period. This Hotel is without a doubt the best Hotel, not only in Gu'an, but in Langfang as well. The ”Eatery Restaurant”, plays a vital role in the success of this Hotel. I often say this when visiting a great Hotel or Restaurant, it's the ”Team”, whom makes the establishment a success. The ”New” pastry cheff, is truly a great asset to the Restaurant and Hotel. His pastries are of exceptional standard, and the variety is huge ”unlike the sister Hotel's Restaurant, The Sheraton”, whom barely have any pastries or desert on offer. Without the right team in place, the business can and will, never be truly successful. Especially, in the current highly competitive market. As a former ”Regional Retail Manager”, with over 15 years of Management experience, I can't help but observe and analyze certain businesses. Being University Qualified in ”Customer Relationship Management” and ”Retail Management”, I appreciate High levels of Customer service. The success of this Hotel and Restaurant, lies in it's team, and their hard work and dedication. True ”Managers”, lead from the front, and set an example to their staff. As the case with ”Samuel” the General Manager, whom always assists his team on the floor. The same can be said for ”Marcus” the Restaurant Manager, whom is always ”hands on” and working hard on the floor. Such ”leadership” sets the tone, for a great team as it will filter down to staff on all levels. Special thanks to ”Lydia” the Office Manager, for always being willing to assist in ensuring that guests receive the absolute best, during their stay. Lydia is always courteous and professional. As always, ”Marcus” the Restaurant Manager, treated us with extreme courtesy and hospitality. We appreciate your hospitality Marcus, thank you. Thank you to ”Molly” from the Restaurant, whom assisted us with with room service, as well as in the Restaurant. It's also note worthy to mention, that it's not only the ”Management Team”, whom deserve praise. As all team members provided excellent service, during our stay. Thank you to ”Housekeeping”, for friendly and prompt service. The team at the ”Swimming Pool”, also provided friendly and prompt service, during our stay, thank you for that. We also appreciated the friendly and professional service, received from the following Restaurant staff: Sam, Peter and Joe. Perhaps, ”Marriott” should consider, having this Hotel's ”sister” Hotel, ”The Sheraton, Chaobai River Hotel's Management and Team, learn about ”Hospitality and Service”, from this Hotel ”Four Points by Sheraton, Gu'an Langfang”. As in my opinion, the ”The Sheraton, Chaobai River Hotel's Management” is not on standard. The facilities at the Four Points by Sheraton, Gu'an, Lanfang, are on International standard. We always enjoy the Swimming Pool, Lobby Lounge and Outdoor Deck, during our stay. The ”Alpacas” are truly amazing creatures and are well taken care of. They truly make guests' stay, more enjoyable. We can highly recommend the Four Points by Sheraton, Gu'an Langfang, to all visitors, ”Foreign, and Domestic”. This is still our favorite destination, in Gu'an / Langfang and surrounding areas. **Hotel Review: Aesthetic Excellence Overshadowed by Comfort Failures** Our recent stay at this supposedly 5-star hotel left us with mixed feelings. While the hotel clearly invested heavily in aesthetics, creating a visually stunning environment that looks fantastic in photos, the design seemed to prioritize form over function, ultimately compromising our comfort. Sadly, this became a deal-breaker for us. The most glaring issue was the room's ventilation and temperature control—or lack thereof. We visited in early March, and the entire building was excessively heated. Despite being from a tropical country and accustomed to warm weather, I found myself sweating in shorts and a singlet. The staff, though polite and eager to help, seemed powerless to address the issue. They provided us with a small portable AC unit, which was better than nothing, but it was clear from their demeanor that this was a recurring problem for guests. Sleeping was a nightmare. The only way to cool the room slightly was to keep the windows open, but this meant having the blinds and curtains up, allowing outside noise and light to flood in. The choice was between sleeping in a sauna-like environment or enduring the disturbances from outside. Needless to say, we had a terrible night's sleep and were relieved to check out after just one night. On a positive note, the service was impeccable. The staff truly deserve recognition for their efforts to assist guests despite the limitations they faced. The breakfast spread was also a highlight—delicious, varied, and reasonably priced, especially if you inform them in advance about adding breakfast to your stay. The room amenities were top-notch, and the spaciousness of the room added to the overall sense of luxury. We got a family suite which was plenty spacious and came with 2 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, 2 bathtubs and a living area. However, these positives couldn’t outweigh the discomfort caused by the poor temperature regulation. During our trip, we stayed in four different cities across China, and this was the only hotel that lacked proper air conditioning and heating controls. For a 5-star establishment, this is a significant oversight. In conclusion, while the hotel excels in aesthetics, service, and amenities, the lack of a well-thought-out solution for room temperature is a major drawback. Management needs to address this issue with a long-term fix. After all, no matter how beautiful a hotel looks, it’s hard to appreciate it when you can’t get a good night’s rest.

The entire property feels like a calm, artistic sanctuary — stylish but never cold, luxurious but never pretentious . In short, this was one of our best couple getaways ever. We highly recommend it to any couple seeking a peaceful, upscale escape in Aranya — we will absolutely be back!

Bad check in service at front counter lady. Seems more occupied with her task than guest service. I have to call and request for our sofa bed to be open. Given we book and indicated a family of 4, unlike other hotels whom immediately arrange all additional required items such as toothbrushs, slippers, towels, water, etc. Here I have to call to request for each items. The wifi doesn't work. I have to physically bring my laptop to the front desk for assistance.. and even that was not able to connect. Breakfast, average as the food are abit hard - hard noodles, hotdogs, breads.. Only cons is location near to ski and restaurants but so are a few hotels nearby. Free scheduled public bus shuttle to/fro train station, have to walk about 7 mins to the bus stop. As a Hyatt member, this is the worse Hyatt Place hotels I stayed. I believe surrounding hotels will have better guest services and competitive price too.

Si dispone di barbecue, e ci sono molte tavole e sedie, rendendolo un grande luogo per trascorrere il tempo con la famiglia o gli amici. In secondo luogo, il design delle stanze è ragionevole, l'illuminazione è buona e l'ambiente abitativo è confortevole e piacevole. Infine, il servizio di gestione della proprietà è stato premuroso e meticoloso e ha risolto vari problemi riscontrati durante il mio soggiorno. Abbiamo avuto un ottimo soggiorno a Shangri-La. La posizione è perfetta! molto vicino alla spiaggia, che rendeva tutto ancora più piacevole. Il cibo era delizioso, e il servizio in camera, così come tutti i membri del personale, erano incredibilmente caldi, gentili e attenti. Inizialmente avevamo previsto di rimanere per due notti, ma ci piaceva tanto che ci siamo prolungati per un'altra notte. La piscina era pulita e ben mantenuta. L'ambiente dell'hotel è eccellente, con un concetto di design innovativo. Il letto king-size offre una vista rilassante semplicemente aprendo le tende. La camera è spaziosa e ben arredata. Tuttavia, sarebbe ancora meglio se il pavimento fosse privo di macchie d'acqua dopo essere stato lavato, se la stanza avesse un profumo più fresco (c'era un odore di pesce dopo aver lavato il pavimento) e se i prodotti da bagno fossero di qualità superiore. La colazione viene servita presso il ristorante adiacente Luyu, ma la gestione è stata un po' deludente. Arrivati ​​alle 9:30, non c'era nessuno ad accompagnarci al tavolo; abbiamo dovuto trovare i nostri posti da soli e nessuno ha sparecchiato prontamente. We travel with a dog and luckily found this location. The room was big and the see view from the balcony is very nice. The whole compound is pet friendly and has a lot of options to walk. The cost was only 5 minutes away and offeres many activities as well as nice places, coffees, restaurants and bakeries to sit, eat and relax. The hotel/apartment stuff was super friendly and helpful. Would come back any time!

I stayed at this Holiday Inn store when I visited Shijiazhuang for the first time, I liked it so much I always stay here. Then I reserve this hotel often for my daughter’s frequent visits to Shijiazhuang, and after her stay this time, she strongly urged me to write a review since she was so impressed by the manager 賈曉玲 who helped her to find an up-graded room while the front desk could not get her into a room after the regular check-in time(probably due to the May One holiday crowd). I sincerely appreciate 賈曉玲 for her helpfulness and kind gesture. I’d say, as a busy traveler myself, I see what she did truly represent the best of of the hospitality business, and for what she had done for my daughter( as well as me), she gained a faithful customer for life.
