Apart from the central location, friendly staff and decent breakfast there is not much we can recommend. 8 of us stayed over for 2 nights with one of our party requiring an accessible room. First of all there are steps at the front door so we needed to lift the mobility vehicle up. The first day the staff knew how to work the chair lift to the 1st floor but on the second night the member of staff that was on did not know how to use it declaring he had only been there a few months and hadn't been shown how to use it. My sister asked for the control ( to which there were only about 4 buttons) and operated it for him. Drinks - do not buy at the hotel. Nearly £60 for 8 drinks then a 2 minute walk to the town and the same drinks were under half the price. Next onto the rooms. We had 4 rooms on the ground floor and each of them were really small, with around 18 inches either side of the small double bed. The bathrooms were small and not comfortable to use either the toilet or shower. Complimentary liquid soap holders were also empty. Lastly onto the biggest reason not to go back which is the creaky floorboards. Pretty much every one in the room creaked and moved and both mornings between 6am and 8am we were wakened and kept awake by the noise of the floorboards in the rooms above us. This wasn't just our room but for another 2 of the rooms as well. Not a nice experience overall, way overpriced. May have been a nice hotel in its day but is crying out for some TLC, decoration, accessibility options and those floorboards fixed.

Il personale è molto utile, ma la nostra camera era pulita e i letti erano comodi, e abbiamo una bella vista sul giardino. Abbiamo scelto di cenare nel bar.Abbiamo scelto i Nachos per condividere che erano carini, ma abbiamo scelto entrambi i pesci e i chip e i chip erano buoni, ma il pesce era incassato in batter ricordando i dita di pesce di Capitano Birdseye in batter. Il frutto è un buffet e è stato bello con una scelta di cereali, frutta, croissant e colazione cucinata. Il nostro hotel ha anche una serie di giochi da tavolo che si possono prendere in prestito. L'accesso alla città è molto facile a piedi, perché si può camminare per qualche passo nel giardino e camminare sulla collina fino alla strada principale in circa 5 minuti.

This hotel has been accommodating guests for soo long and it is definitely an amazingly different experience the staff were amazing the poor bar lass that had a nightmare of a night with the till and card payment going off on her went above and beyond with a smile on her face the manager and the main guy on reception last night Sunday 13th of October could have been more friendly and helpful, serving staff and chefs at tea friendly with smiles and helpful also. The food was hot and tasty. The hotel itself was clean Our room was spotless some parts need some tlc in areas like Newer Lift maybe and it's a bit dated in places but that's expected for 3 stars and the age of the place now the main reason I gave it 4 out of 5 the bed good god I hope it was just our room 317 but it was terrible hard uncomfortable not a good sleep at all other than that would highly recommend this hotel.

Me and my sister booked a room for visiting the enchanted forest ( amazing ). We arrived at the hotel at 3.30 (check in from 3) and were told our room wasn't ready so we waited half an hour before I asked again and was given a key. The room was clean, bed was comfy and the room had everything we needed. For a spa hotel the pool was small and shallow. We did visit during the school holidays which meant the pool was extremely busy with families and children which made it hard to have any space to swim or relax. The shower in the room had poor pressure and was warm rather than hot. The breakfast was included which was good and there was a good selection available and the staff in the breakfast room were friendly. Not a bad hotel but not sure it was worth the £180 we paid for the the room and it would of been good if it had been ready on arrival.

La struttura è esternamente molto bella, curatissima e in ordine. L’interno, tolta l’immancabile (ahimè) moquette, è una struttura elegante e molto grande: le camere sono spaziose , ma dovrebbero sicuramente essere rimodernate al pari del bagno. Si può usufruire della spa e anche di un piccolo percorso di golf da 9 buche: alla reception noleggiano le mazze e si può passare un po’ di tempo immersi nella natura. Nel fine settimana al pub interno c’è musica dal vivo: attenzione che , nonostante si possa continuare a bere fino a quasi mezzanotte, la cucina chiude prima delle 21 e sono inflessibili. È un posto sicuramente da consigliare.

L'hotel e il Spa sono in una bella posizione con una vista fantastica sul lago. Il personale era amichevole e attento in tutte le aree dell'hotel, ma una menzione speciale deve andare alla signora della Reception, che era molto chattata e benvenuta. Abbiamo mangiato nella stanza della casa, la prima sera, che era una bella esperienza di cena. La seconda sera abbiamo mangiato nella Brownie Wild e questo è stato più casuale. Tutti e due erano bellissimi e ci sono stati tutti i piatti. Sono glutine libero e ho molto da scegliere. La colazione era principalmente buffet con alcuni cucinati per ordinare piatti che hanno comportato un onere aggiuntivo. Noi sentimmo che il buffet offre una scelta sufficiente e non abbiamo scelto nessuno di questi. Viaggiammo nel bagno/bacino che era pulito e ben mantenuto. Nessuna denuncia in alcun modo su questo hotel e sicuramente consiglia e ritorna ancora ♥️

Struttura immerasa in un bosco bellissimo, casette tipiche scozzesi con ogni comfort, centro benessere incluso e perfettamente tenuto, abbiamo trovato una tariffa molto conveniente quindi anche buon rapporto qualità/prezzo. In paesi a 10 minuti di distanza abbiamo trovato pub bellissimi e tipici. Attenzione a guidre piano sulla strada di accesso, ci sono conigli, fagiani ed animali!

The signage to the Leonardo Beautique Hotel, Perth, Scotland along with the directions in the hotel literature both need upgrading with accuracy. Sadly the website details of room layout design and amenities are not reflected in reality. We stayed in a room that was very basic and the bathroom was disgraceful with ecrement stains on the WC, dirty shower curtain in badly marked bath. The paintwork needed refreshing and the mirrors and wash hand basins required upgrading. The worst aspect was a drip all night through the ceiling that kept us awake. The general manager knew about the problems and although we had complained to him the evening we arrived, we were still placed in a dreadful room and bathroom. We were refunded 50% but felt misled and ill done to considering the condition of the facility. I would never recommend ths hotel to anyone as it is very far from the 4.4 star standard stated.

Aveva le migliori 24 ore qui. Il bellissimo ambiente e la splendida scena, ha preso una bici per una bella gita intorno al paese circostante, ha avuto un grande e bellissimo salone per ottenere qualche parola da, e il personale era solo incredibilmente utile, amichevole e accogliente e così gentile persone. Un'illuminazione della mia breve, 4 giorni di viaggio in Scozia. Non ho nemmeno il golf, e ancora amavo questo bellissimo posto / proprietà! Era solo una notte qui, ma in qualche modo si sentiva come molti altri :) Un tempo lento, rilassante. Grazie a tutti!

After having spent the 23/24 New Year in one of the Stable Cottages, and having loved it, we decided to repeat our stay to see in 2025. This time we were in Cottage 14, a Superior graded 1 bedroom Cottage on one floor. The apartment was huge, and very well equipped. As with last time, the housekeeping service was excellent, including on New Year’s day itself. We dined in the hotel on 2 of our 4 evenings, including Hogmanay itself, and again the food and service were up to their usual fantastic standard. My wife is Coeliac, and was very well catered for, with the special Hogmanay menu adapted where required. All the bar, breakfast & dinner staff were superb, and made everybody feel very welcome. Although we don’t have a dog ourselves, the hotel is extremely dog friendly if that is what you are looking for. For those who haven’t visited the area before, the location is perfect for visiting much of Perthshire, Angus and other areas with ease. We managed to visit the Black Watch Museum and newly opened Perth Museum, the Dewars Aberfeldy Distillery and Stirling Castle in our 3 full days there. As an added bonus the Northern Lights put on a show on our final night as we were making our way back to the cottage from the main hotel itself (not sure they can guarantee this for you, but if the lights are out, the dark surroundings make seeing them more likely). Overall, another great stay, and already booked to see in 2026.

Just had a weekend away with friends in this lovely small boutique hotel, we stayed in Friarton room, whilst our friends were in slightly bigger Oakbank (all rooms names not numbers) Both were booked as front facing superior rooms. We had a lovely new bathroom in the room and all was very clean and looked after well. We had both a delicious dinner and extensive breakfast, with plenty of local and Scottish produce. We met the chef, who came out to see the tables. If you are looking for a great, well kept, convenient and friendly place to stay in Perth then look no further. We all left saying it was a highlight of our trip. I would also recommend booking with them for dinner and breakfast.

My wonderful partner took me here for my birthday as a wee night get away. The Castle itself is stunning and nestled in behind the trees so close to the A9 yet you seem a million miles away. The views are breathtaking! Upon arrival greeted by 2 lovely men sorry didnt catch their names they carried out bags , parked the car and gave me a umbrella to save my hair from the rain! Legend 😉. The receptionist I found to be quite cold and abrupt. The room was one of the lodges and it was perfect Large in size it was clean and had everything you needed. With dressing grown and slippers. The large shower was great and bathroom was clean only down point the shower base had some marks on it. The biggest down point of the room was the bed.... it was massive like 2 mattresses thick and extremely soft unfortunately I suffer with slipped discs so the worse thing for me is a soft mattress and this was extremely soft and I woke up in the morning crying in pain having my disc slipped which still suffering week later to try get it back in. Maybe soft bed is some peoples cup of tea but unfortunately not personally for me and has left me in alot of pain. We dined at the hotel aswell the food was nice but my chicken still had raw bits which I left as I dont like complaining. The restaurant staff where nice and professional but would of been nice to get abit of banter with them and a conversation. We also made use of the spa the staff there were very friendly and cheeful had a good laugh unfortunately left it to late to book treatments but will try another time. The pool was on the cold side the hot tubs were great and we got lucky we picked a quite time. The sauna and steam room both great and spa is nicely furnished.

From the moment we arrived we were warmly welcomed and Jason (hotel manager) couldn’t have been more helpful at helping resolve a booking issue with the online 3rd party. Nothing was too much trouble and our happiness was paramount meaning that what we expected from our trip was indeed our experience. A well appointed traditional hotel with fantastic atmosphere, food and wine. During dinner service Kayleigh our waitress was very efficient and friendly. We also met the hotel owner which was lovely. The hotel is only 5 minutes from The House of Bruar which is also quite handy. Would definitely recommend.

Molto centrale. Stavo in una camera gemella. Mi guardava alla stazione ferroviaria. Passeggiato e la prima impressione era povera, perché la finestra era piena sembrava non essere stata pulita in un tempo molto, molto lungo. La stanza era pulita ma molto fondamentale. Il tè e il caffè in una stanza che mi piace. Parti dell'hotel sembravano date un ma stanco, non come quello che si mostrava nella pubblicità televisiva. La stanza era molto calda, ma c'era un fan nella stanza che era utile come era necessario. La colazione era deliziosa, mi fermerò di nuovo a causa della posizione. Il personale in check-in è stato molto utile, soprattutto quando sono arrivato e non c'era spazio nel parcheggio. Anche se non mangiamo in hotel sembrava che servissero bella cibo. Divertimento in diretta nel bar dell'hotel il sabato sera. Il giardino è un bel posto se vuoi stare seduto fuori o fare una passeggiata. Tutto È stato abbastanza piacevole, andrò indietro solo una vera vergogna di quanto la finestra della camera da letto non poteva guardare fuori per godere la vista.

A real gem! We had the perfect stay in this lovely hotel. We are so pleased that we stayed at the Westlands instead of the other hotels in Pitlochry which looked a bit tired and impersonal in comparison. There was a mix up with my booking (which was completely my fault!) but it was dealt with incredibly fairly and beyond my expectations. Fantastic hotel with such a lovely ambience and amazing location. I must also comment on the delicious breakfast and the wonderful staff. I'm not surprised that all the other guests we met said that on their travels around Scotland this was the best hotel they had stayed in! If we return to Pitlochry, this is 100% the hotel I'd book!
