This hostel has a lovely atmosphere, much more chill than other hostels I’ve been in with a quirky indoor/ outdoor vibe. It’s clean with lovely staff and a great location. The beds are the most comfortable I’ve had while travelling Australia with your own personal fan. I will say that it may be a little outdated but it’s undergoing renovation. Kitchen was always clean. A little different but I enjoyed my stay here :)

The hotel room was clean, spacious, and clearly recently renovated. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. We were able to store our luggage safely in a locked baggage room. The hotel grounds are beautiful, with clean and very attractive pool areas surrounded by lush plants. In the early evening, you can even see fruit bats flying over the property, which adds a special touch to the atmosphere. The hotel is a bit further away from the city centre, but only 15min from the airport.

We had a wonderful stay at Brisbane Skytower Apartments and would definitely book again! Location: Right in the heart of the CBD, with Queen Street Mall, South Bank and the ****** all within easy walking distance. So convenient for exploring the city. Room: More like a stylish studio apartment than a standard hotel room. Very spacious, bright and modern, with floor-to-ceiling windows that let in plenty of natural light. We had a lovely view overlooking the river. Facilities: The kitchen is fully equipped – not just basic stuff, but actual cookware, utensils, oven, microwave, dishwasher and a decent-sized fridge. Perfect if you feel like cooking. Also great to have both a washing machine and dryer in the room, really handy for travellers. Service: The 24-hour front desk staff were friendly and helpful. We stored our luggage with them for a few hours after check-out so we could explore before heading to the airport – no issues at all. All in all, a very comfortable stay. Highly recommended for anyone looking for space, convenience and a home-away-from-home feel.

First of all, this is not a 5* Hotel and is not trying to be. This is a budget place to stay and with that in mind, I thought it was great. The rooms were large enough, had a table and chairs, kettle, fridge, microwave, cutlery, the most amenities so far in 4 months of travelling. On top of that, there is a modest pool and a large cooking area that has utensils which was really useful for us budget travellers. The location is as good as we could have got, 30 mind walk to the train station and harbour, an hour walk from the airport. The place also has parking. Although - it was a little dirty and rusty in places - there were lots of tiny roaches which comes with the territory, but still worth mentioning - there were 3 floors in our block, each with a toilet, our toilet was cleaned but no toilet paper replenished for the 3 days we were there

L'hotel è nella media, con un'ottima posizione e pulizia. I servizi sembrano ben tenuti. La reception si trova su un lato, mentre l'altro lato è vicino alla laguna e ospita un bar. Gli svantaggi sono che Cairns è una piccola città e gli hotel non sono economici, offrendo generalmente un rapporto qualità-prezzo basso. Inoltre, per raggiungere la stanza Flynn bisogna percorrere un corridoio al secondo piano e poi scendere al piano successivo dalla reception, il che è un po' scomodo.

Max al desk front era eccellente caldo, attento, e veramente utile dal momento che siamo arrivati. Mila era anche meravigliosa e ci ha fatto sentire molto benvenuti. La nostra camera era pulita, spaziosa e luminosa, con un comodo layout e un balcone che si apriva a belle viste. La posizione non poteva essere migliore: facile passeggiata ai principali punti di partenza, l'Esplanade e molti grandi ristoranti. La comodità di una sala di lavanderia auto ‑servizio è stato un altro grande plus durante i nostri viaggi. In generale, questo hotel ha fornito comfort, comodità e servizio eccezionale. Molto consigliato per chiunque visita Cairns.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Absolutely Outstanding Stay! We stayed in the 2 Bed Family Villa at Chinchilla Motor Inn and couldn’t have been happier. The villa was modern, spotless, and very comfortable — everything felt fresh and well maintained. The location is excellent, convenient yet quiet, making it perfect for families. What truly impressed us, though, was the amazing service. Our daughter accidentally left her beloved Kindle behind, and the staff went above and beyond to help. They carefully packed it in a bubble-wrap envelope and posted it back to us free of charge, even though we offered to cover the cost and their time. It arrived safely, and we’re so grateful for their kindness and honesty. It’s rare to find such genuine hospitality these days. We’d highly recommend Chinchilla Motor Inn to anyone — fantastic facilities and even better people!

Even though the room was nearby the stairs I did not hear noise from people passing by and had a good sleep • shared bathroom was cleaned meticulously. • amenities: they have a pool which is really nice and the inner courtyard is quite comfortable and has space to interact with other guests as well to just chill • location: 15 min taxi from the airport (only way to go to the airport) 10 min walk from the train station and 15 min walk to the seaside. There are few restaurants and a supermarket in front of the hostel • staff: kind an supportive my background: I travel 320 days a year since 8 years staying in all range of accomodation from hostel to 5star.
